I purchased one iphone on launch day and I called today about a refund and they said sorry they cant do it I was ****** and I told them this is b.s. So the guy told me that sorry there is nothing i can do. The refund is only good if you bought it from Aug 24th and on

I tried to use Apple Pay at the 1280 Lexington Ave store in NY but was asked for the last 4 digits of my cardnumber and it never worked. The question itself made no sense but I tried in vain by supplying it as well as the security code. I didn't know the last 4 of my proxy card number.
Open Passbook, select the credit card you are using, touch the Info icon on the lower right. This will display the last four digits of the ‘Device Account Number’. These four digits are what your retailer wants to complete the transaction, NOT the last four digits of your card number. Some retailers require this, others do not.

I think I clicked on something on when in the itunes store. Now I can't connect my iphone to the itunes store to update 38 apps.
When I plug it in to my Mac, the section that says "connect to itunes store" is grayed out and I can't change it. What can I do to fix
this without doing an update. I'm using my phone on Tmobile and running 4.3.3.Download the latest and install iTunes.

Launch Day: getting an iPhone 4 by walk-in
Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced iPhone launch days in the past. I missed out on the pre-order, I was trying all day and could never get through until they bumped the delivery date to July 2. Now me and my friend are planning on waiting in line the morning of Launch day as my local Apple store told me there would be iPhones available for walk-in customers. Any input from people who have done this would be very welcome. Thanks

Your answer completely contradicts what the apple store employee told me. She told me there will be iPhone 4s available for walk-in customers as soon as the store opens and that it would not be contigent on pre-order customers not claiming theirs. Also, Walmart didn't even sell pre-orders, yet there are numerous press releases saying they'll be selling the iPhone 4 on launch day. So I imagine you saying that all iPhones have been "sold out just from pre-orders" just an assumption, which we all know what happens when you assume. -

I participated in the new iPhones launch day sept 19 2014 at one of your store. I arrived at 4:20 am and got a great spot in line with my fiancé. We planned on trading in two old iPhone 4 8gb unfortunatly we left our phones at home on the dresser. Before the store opened the managers and reps came out to gather all of our information. While that was going on I was talking with a manager and informed him that we left our trade in phones at home. I asked if I can leave my spot in line (while my fiancé waits there) and go retrieve them I live 15 min from the store and had my paper with my number on it. I was told Not to leave my spot. So I asked if I could pay for the phones and leave them in the store so It isn't a completed transaction so I can go get the old phones for the store credit. He said that's not nessary as long as I bring them in I can get the $200 dollars off of my credit card Instead of a gift card. I go back on sept 20 ( less than 30 hrs later) and I tell the rep waiting on me that the manager said it can come off my credit card and the rep said no problem. The rep calls the same manager over to find out how to do it and he says it can't be done. I remind him that he said I could and he gives me attitude. I was being perfectly polite to him and he gives me attitude. So He says I can either apply it to my account which i split with my family or take gift cards. I took the gift cards being that was the only option. I am fed up of customer service in America and can't understand how people with attitude problems receive manager positions.Thats not the point. A little communication to people standing in line would have sufficed. Yes I was aware they were in short supply. I would have been ok if I would have found out they were sold out while standing in line. Everyone had sheets with the phone they wanted, not a lot of effort could have been taken. But to wait an hour after finally getting IN the store and after my number has been called to find out they are sold out is lame. And then for a manager to argue with me after that is pretty unprofessional.

Has anyone had any experiece with iPhone launches at Verizon in the past (in store)? Somehow my preorder got canncelled, so I have to wait in line to get one before October. How early did you get there? What did they have for supply? Any input would be appreciated!
Get in line early. 16 gigs will be the first to sell out, 64 gigs will be the last.

So, if I am not getting my iPhone on launch day.... When am I getting it?
So, its clear to me that I am not going to be one of the lucky few that gets a new iPhone 4 on the promised launch day of June 24. After spending 16 hours on the internet on Tuesday to repeatedly get error messages from Apple and ATT, I went into a BB near my work and preordered my unit early Wednesday morning. I went back today and double checked my number in the line and I am the last preorder they took at around 100. No chance of June 24 for me. So, what I would like to know is this: When will the next batch(es) of iPhones arrive to Best Buy stores from Apple... ANYBODY?!
Actually -- I was told by the Mobile Center Manager and the Store Manager of this location, that I "The number of units they receive will almost assuredly not be enough to fufill all of their preorders on launch day. That many people, especially those lower on the list would have to wait for the second wave to arrive."
I am not the only one that has heard this -- Its even implied in the BB iPhone 4 Pre Order FAQS -- That those pre orders exceeding the actual number of units received on launch, will not receive their unit until the second wave has shipped to the stores. -
iPhoto: I was downloading photos from my iPhone every day during my holidays and suddenly one day: the following file could not be imported unrecognized format. And it's still same iPhone 4S and same format JPEG
What version of iPhoto?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Switch iPhone colors on iPhone had since launch day?
My iPhone 5 arrived on launch day, and have had non stop problems with it since then.
I live in the UK where there are far and few between Apple stores. Over the weekend we are going out our way to Christmas shop at a mall with an Apple store.
I'm going to get my iPhone replaced because of it's many hardware issues, but I was wondering if they would replace my iPhone 5 (black) for a white one?
My iPhone arrived with a few small scratches and putting a case on it caused a few more, although they are small they are very noticeable because they are white scratches on a black iPhone, do you think they will switch for a white one?

NathanNo. In order to get a different color, you would have to return the one you have for a refund and purchase a different one. If you've had it since launch day, you're well outside the return window.

I was not able to pre-order the new iPhone neither am I able to wait in line to get one on Launch day. One of my family members is going to try and get me one though. She will be arriving at the store around 7:00-7:30 am and Best Buy opens at 10:00 am. Do you think she has a decent chance and obtaining one of the iPhones?

Let's put it this way. If there are extra phones, do you think they'll ship them to Best Buy or to an Apple Store? More profit at the Apple Store, so I'm guessing if you want to stand in line, go to the Apple Store. My experience with waiting in line for new iPhone launches without a reservation is not good. Not good at all. -
i tried to play candy crush, but when i launch, app closed. I tried all (reset, restart, reload, etc.) I have the app on my pc, but even if i try to sync, the app do not apply on my iphone. When i load the app direct on my iphone, same proplem, can t open

I received an Iphone 5 as a gift two days ago. The first thing I did was set up ICloud for photos. Itunes would not allow me to add songs to my new phone without restoring it, yet when I did this, it deleted all 129 photos of my graduation and friends from the past two days. And I cannot find them anywhere, photo stream, ICloud, nothing. Where can I get back my memories?
Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

I had lost all the music on my iphone a while back and wanted to put it back on but my PC is a dinosaur and couldn't handle the sync without taking days. I decided to give it a go anyway. I tried to sync but kept getting an error message saying "waiting for changes to be applied". I looked up a solution to this problem and I saw that I should restore the phone to factory settings which I did. I then tried to sync again and it worked! .....the downside was that it took forever and I was without a phone for 36 hrs while I waited for sync to complete. It was at 662 0f 771 last night when I went to bed and when I awoke this morn, syncing had ceased and my phone was still erased of all data.
I am thinking now that everything was done and all I needed to do was turn off my phone and turn back on again but in a panic I selected an option on the phone to back up from icloud (as I knew I had done a backup 2 days ago). The only option available was "ipad backup" from over a week ago and stupidly I selected this option. It was successful but my contacts, mail, messages, photos and most importantly my notes and reminders are gone!!!
I have now restored the phone back to factory settings again.
WHAT DO I DO NEXT??I went back to iOS 7 and my backup file is restoring but when its done nothing is on my phone still and only takes 11-15 minutes to restore the backup instead of taking 25+ minutes like usual so I guess the backup is corrupted. How can I fix this?

How do I turn off notifications completely
