FYI Notification getting canceled while sending notiifcation 2nd time
Hello Gurus,
I have a custom workflow which incorporates AME and AME returns 2 of FYI Receivers groups at the end. I have designed the workflow so that It get the approval group from AME and checks if thats the FYI Group or not. If its FYI Group then it sends a FYI Notification to that group and get backs to Get_Next_approver_from_AME function to get the next approval group. After regular approvals, for the 2 FYI groups which it gets at the end, It is sending the FYI notices to groups but while sending the 2nd FYI notice it is canceling the first one. I have tried all the possible solutions setting the "On Revisit" to "loop" instead of "Reset". Can anybody suggest any other solution for this?
We are on R12 and using WF Builder 2.6.3.0.1

Set the 'On Revisit' value to 'Loop' and verify the issue.
If the value is 'loop' then Workflow Engine simply re executes the pivot activity and all activities that follow in the loop, without resetting, as if they have never been executed before.

Problem only comes, when i send 2nd time or more. What is the problem? Please help me out.
Thanks for your response in advance. One more thing, Whether to send a mail & receive a mail, we need to create different sessions. one for sending & one for receiving mails.

session.setDebug(true);
You can use the same Session for sending and for reading.
A Session just encapsulates your configuration parameters,
so as long as they're the same for both usages, one Session
is fine. -
I've downloaded iTunes 10.5 onto my iPod Touch, no problems but I've now got a constant error message on my laptop everytime I switch it on and access the internet. The message is "The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderConstName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll"
This is the 2nd time this has happened. Last time iTunes Support called and we ran through a load of checks to no avail. The only option was to delete iTunes completely off my laptop and go for a new download of it. Have been using Thunderbird for years and it has worked just fine. Have not made any changes to any of the settings. My boyfriend also used T'bird for years but last year it stopped sending messages and he finally had to stop using it. My T/bird is beginning to act the way his did. I will write a message and press send and then a window will open saying the message couldn't be sent and to retry or cancel. Usually a retry will work. Sometimes I get a message asking me to enter my password (I don't even think I have one or if I do I don't know what it is because I have never logged in to send email). So I'm worried that my T/bird program is beginning to fail like his did. I don't want to lose the use of the program and all my saved emails and addresses, mail groups, etc. My OS is Windows 7.

Try disabling email scanning in your anti virus program. -

User getting locked while sending message sync via BPM. Please help

I have a sync - sync scenario where I am sending data synchronously from webservice to a sync RFC FM. I am using BPM and in BPM I have three steps
1. Receive step - Opens Sync-Async Bridge

When I check the "Status monitor for Sync/Async communication" via SXMB_MONI, I found that my message is listed there with BPE status = "Wait".
On double clicking my message I found that there is an error " User is locked. Please notify the person responsible".
Why is my BPE struck in "Wait" stage and user is locked?
What am I doing wrong? Am I missing any settings in SOAP sender communication channel?
Please help me in resolving this problem.

Few months ago we had also problems with "locked user" in XI, in our case XIAPPLUSER was sometimes (b)locked.
Perhaps note:
721548 Changing the passwords of the XI 3.0 service users
will help you.
We removed and entered the service users again, with the password in CAPITALS and language blank.
After that our problem was solved, I hope yours too.

You should talk to your ISP to get the details for connecting to your server.
In this case I suspect your server wants you to make the connection on the
secure port. The FAQ has examples of how to do this for GMail and Yahoo
mail, which work similarly. By changing the host name, these same examples
will likely work for you. -
Getting RuntimeException while sending a JMenu Object via http

since Java 1.5.0 i use a mechanism, which transfers a JMenu from my servlet object to my applet object via http.
Now since 1.5.0_02 i get this Exception while doing it:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission accessClassInPackage.sun.swing)
Now there is nothing to find about this. Not here in the forums, neither in google or anywhere else.
My guess is, its a matter of deserialization of thoses Jmenus.
Anybody out there with the same problem?
Anybody knows how to solve this WITHOUT changes the policy?

Check in transaction SCOT. If your mail is in error status in SCOT, you can assure that there is no problem with your code. If your message has not reached till SCOT, then the problem will be with the code.
If the mail is there in scot with error status tell the BASIS to configure it. I feel this could be the problem.

Hi All,
I have configured an error email in my catch/catch-all blocks. Incase I dont have any retry action in my faultpolicies.xml file, the error email is sent fine. However if any remote/binding fault occurs and retry is done on partnerlink, in those cases the Error Notification service fails with below error:
ORABPEL-31015
Error while sending notification.
Error while sending notification to email.
Possible causes : SDPMessaging Driver not configured; Invalid To Address is used; Email server/Messaging gateway is down; using IP address as part of email ID instead of domain name;.
Caused by: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to look up comp/env/ejb/services/NotificationServiceBean in /app/ejb/ejb_ob_engine_wls.jar#BPELActivityManagerBean.; remaining name 'comp/env/ejb/services/NotificationServiceBean'
sendEmailNotification WSIF Exception occured. Please check stack trace "Cannot get Object part 'Responses'. No parts are set on the message"
If I throw a remote/binding fault (throw activity), the error email gets sent. However whenever the retry happens incase of a fault, the above error comes.
Any idea what can be reason behing this...

We have developed a custom AME approval hierarchy for iRecruitment.
The hierarchy includes delivering FYI notifications as well.
The FYI notification gets generated we can see the FYI notification when we login to oracle apps.
But it is not getting delivered by email.
When we checked wf_notification_out table, it says it is sent.
Can anyone please help us on this.

Why not just set up an alert on the library instead of workflow? Or have the source system send out the alert as well? -

First run consistency check program and model consistency check. still if you face the same problem you have to reduce the model size or use Time decomposition or product decomposition.
