For those wanting to get started adding video to their Flash Pro work, I wanted to highlight a couple of quality video tutorials that folks may not know about.
Todd Perkins does a nice job of covering the basic steps for adding a video to Flash. This is a good place to go first:

Lisa Larson-Kelly covers a lot of ground in her Flash 411 show. This video is all about codecs, encoding, progressive vs. streaming, and choices for playing back video in Flash Player

What are the best resources for learning JSP?

In your experience, what have been the best resources for learning JSP? I am new to this, and so far have been plugging away at a "Dummies" book. Hopefully there are other inexpensive ways (I checked the book out at the library), to learn it, and possibly even less boring (though I doubt it). I can deal with the boring, but I was wondering if I was going about learning it the best way.

Noob Question 19: Resources For Learning Videography

...or whatever you wanna call it. I need some suggestions for books/web sites that can teach me more about video production... not just editing in Premiere, but stuff like lighting and so on. For example, a friend of mine suggested a light box and it clearly helps him a -lot-. I'd like to know where to get them, what's a good deal, how to use it, and so on.
Ideas for learning how to film properly?

Good Resources for learning Bash Scripting

I know, I should probably be lectured for the fact that I'm a heavy Linux user who programs in a variety of languages, but is very limited when it comes to bash scripting itself.
So, I've decided now is the time to learn. It seriously beats writing configuration scripts in C, I think (that's not really what C is used for these days...).
So, anyone know of some good (preferably free) resources on learning Bash?

OR if someone has any suggested alternatives (e.g., Python as a replacement?), do tell.

Insufficient resources for learning Portlets

There is very less study material on the sun website or otherwise for learning portlets. I have just started working on Portlets, and am facing difficulty due to this. If anyone can suggest me a good book to get statrt with, I would be grateful
Most of the resources are vendor specific. primarily Weblogic, and Websphere, I am using uPortal which complies with JSR 168.

I have actually been following Unity for a few months. It looks pretty **** nice to say the least but the $600.00 for the basic is a little steep so I haven't committed just yet. I am currently using Cocos2d (http://code.google.com/p/cocos2d-iphone/) to play around with making 2d games and have been going though the excellent tutorials for SIO2 3D engine (http://www.sio2interactive.com/HOME/HOME.html). SIO2 is shaping up to be a really nice engine with superb integration with Blender (which I am also slowly learning at the same time).

I would really appreciate knowing which online resources people really have used and found valuable for learning PHP/MySQL.
And I'm well aware that Google is my friend - I'm looking for personal recommendations. :-)

Does it exist a manual for learning to use Oracle Forms?

What I'm looking for is a manual or tutorial for using Oracle Forms.
Looking at Oracle Documentation link http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/documentation/10g-forms-091309.html I haven't found an user or developer guide.

"We used the publish command in Flash pro cc and found the saved html, SWA, Quicktime and FLA versions of the document/animation it saved on our computer, but when we uploaded, these versions either didn't work, or only uploaded with video or audio. We don't have Quicktime. How can we upload this video? The solutions I find online are so extremely complex. How do you obfuscate APK for Android that is published with Flash Pro CC ?

I created an application for Android smartphones using Flash Pro CC.
I don't know much about obfuscating APK files but I heard that APK can be easily decompiled and therefore my AS file sourcecode is vulnerable. So I started searching on google and found that ProGuard does obfuscation. But it's for Eclipse so I guess i can't use ProGuard for my app which is created using Flash Pro CC. Is there any way to obfuscate my APK? or is there any other way to protect my APK?

ProGuard is a command line utility as you can see here:

ProGuard is a command-line tool with an optional graphical user interface. It also comes with plugins for Ant, for Gradle, and for the JME Wireless Toolkit.
While it's nice to use it in an integrated environment you should investigate the usage of it on the command line.
An APK is a .zip file. Feel free to unzip it and explore the contents as any other person could. You'll see what exactly is exposed to others. Consider by what you see if anything is actually in danger before you pursue a potentially complicated or unnecessary procedure like obfuscation.
