G/L account in check register display

Hi,
When displaying the check register through FCHN our end users want G/L account which is paid also to be displayed in the report as an extra column.
Is there any way we can get the G/L account also in check register display
Thanks & Regards
Siva Kumari

Hi Ashok,
We can definitely know the g/l account through them but our end users are insisting that they want a separate column for the g/l account.so I want to know whether this is possible or any new Z-program has to be created.
Thank You
Ashok.

  • Accounts Payable Check Register

    Hello,
Does anyone have any advice they can share with regard to creating an InfoProvider that would contain check register information for Accounts Payable?  I have looked through Business Content for Financials but have not been able to find anything even close to this type of design.  Our Financial functional analysts cannot believe that a check register InfoProvider is not included as part of BC.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sonya

As an accountant for 35 years, I could not believe that there is no check register in SAP.  The document journal report hardly suffices.  The company I am with now did create a query that is below.  See how this works for you.
    SELECT T0.CreateDate AS 'Creation Date', T0.CheckNum AS 'Check No.', T0.VendorCode AS 'Vendor Code', T0.VendorName AS 'Vendor Name', T0.CheckSum AS 'Check Amount', T1.JrnlMemo AS 'Journal Remarks', T1.TransId AS 'Transaction Number', T0.Canceled AS 'Cancelled' FROM  [dbo].[OVPM] T1 INNER JOIN [dbo].[OCHO] T0 ON T1.DocEntry = T0.PmntNum INNER JOIN [dbo].[VPM1] T2 ON T2.DocNum = T1.DocNum WHERE T1.DocDate >= CONVERT(DATETIME, '[%0]', 112)  AND  T1.DocDate <= CONVERT(DATETIME, '[%1]', 112)

  • Display the Customer/Vendor Name in the Check Register Report

Just would like to ask if its possible to display the Customer/Vendor Name in the Check Register Report? The format simply have the Customer/Vendor Code on the said report.  Is there a work around on this?
    Thanks...

    Llowen,
You may develop a Query like this
    SELECT T0.CheckNum, T0.PmntNum, T0.VendorCode, T0.VendorName,  T0.TaxDate, T0.CreateDate, T0.PrnConfrm, T0.CHECKSUM FROM OCHO T0
    WHERE T0.Canceled = 'N' AND (T0.CheckDate BETWEEN  '[[%0]]' AND '[[%1]]') OR (T0.CheckNum BETWEEN '[[%2]]' AND '[[%3]]')

  • During APP how to display Check Register

    Dear SAP Experts,
    Need your help...
I have a scenarion: During APP after the payemnt is done we have to do to Environmnet>Check Information>Display--> Check Register. But in FBZP for my Co Code Xyz using the payment method (A)...when i go to payment method in coutnry in Payment Method Classafication (bank Trf) is selected. Will i have to to select (check) option to display Check.
What all configuration i will have to do so that during APP i can display check register.
    Regards

    Hi,
In FBZP > Payment Method for country > Select Check and also give the print program for check like RFFOUS_C is used for payment method C in US.
Then in FBZP > Payment method in company code, define the form for printing the check.
(Hope you have already maintained the check lot in FCHI.)
Then you should be able to see the check in the check register in F110/ FCHN for that payment method. (All the new docuemnts posted after this customization will be displayed.)

  • Anyone know how I could print out a blank checking register from numbers. Seems like it could be simple but my templates all have numbers in them.

Just looking for a way to print off a blank checking account register page or two.
I've never used numbers before and all I have seen is a register with numbers filled in.
    Thanks.

Sure. Create a fresh document by choosing the Checking Register template. Select all the cells you want cleared of data/formulas. Press Delete. You can also delete the chart and its accompanying table. Print it. Close it without saving (or save it if you want to have it around to print again later).

  • APP(f110) : Alternative Payee not handled in check register

    Hi,
Request expert advice for the below situation -
Vendor 1 is maintained as an alternative payee for Vendor 2.
Now there exist 2 invoice say,
    Against Vendor 1 - $100
    Against Vendor 2 - $200
Now, I create a auotmatic payment program (F110) and include both the vendors in the same proposal and execute -
Ideally, there should be a single check against Vendor 1 for $300, but there will be 2 payment doc numbers generated against each vendor. --> This step is working fine.
Issue:  When i check in the check register (FCHN), only the payment docuument number against Vendor 2 for $ 200 is available.
Where am i missing?  Is it config related?  or is it variant releated?

    Hi Sridevi
Please check the table PAYR and see what is the check number in the table for the other payment document. The current check details should be there in the table. This means that in FCHN there is some selection parameter that you need to change. Just give the details of the paying company code, account id and house bank. Just give the check number and nothing else in the selection. I am sure the amount will show up. Let me know what was the result.

  • Data model 0G: No authorization for entity type Account (Company Code) - activity Display

    Hello Expert,
I have a problem with authorization in MDG-F.
I want to create Account with Collective processing. After, entered Entity type, Edition and Chart of account,  Blocking message "Data model 0G: No authorization for entity type Account (Company Code) - activity Display" is displayed.
But, i checked in PFCG transaction, for this user profil, activity are : create or generate, Change and display. So, for me , it is correct.
Please, check screen shot below :
    Blocking message :
    and in PFCG transaction
Could you help me to solve this point?
    Kind regards,
    Heri RAOELISON

    Hi Heri,
the system behavior is correct. The account in company code consists of three entity types:
    1) COA - Chart of Accounts (Type 3)
    2) ACCOUNT - Account (A-Segment, related to ECC table SKA1, Type 1)
    3) ACCCCDET - Account in Company Code (B-Segment, releated to ECC table SKB1, Type 1).
    3) includes 1) and 2) whereas 2) includes 1). If you grant authorization only for 3) but not for 1) and 2), you cannot do anything.
    Best regards
    Michael

  • Using the checking register template I've made multiple months and I want to total the data, is there a way I can link the sums?

    Same as topic.

    Hi Sandra,
The Checking register's design assumes all transactions will be recorded on the single Transactions table.
With a single Transactions table, it's relatively easy to pull a summary by month into separate Accounts Categories tables for each month and to use a separate calculation for the overall totals rather than linking the separate sums together.
More detail about "I've made multiple months" might be useful to recommending a solution.

  • Bank account formats - checks

    Dear all,
Does someone have any idea how I can see how the format of the bank accounts are checked in SAP? (for different bank countries)?
I need to clean a list with bank accounts so their format is accepted by SAP when I upload them.
Is there any possibility to do some kind of simulation check on an Excel list?
I found T005, but that's a bit vague "maximum length without gaps = 18" not?
How about the bank keys? How can I know if there is a logic behind the bank key structure for a certain country? How do I know which format/length the bank key needs to have?
    Thanks in advance

This is what sap documentation for bank keys says:
<i><b> In this field, you specify the bank key under which bank data from the
    respective country is stored.
When you define the country key, you also specify the country-specific
    definition of the bank key.
Normally, you manage banks using their bank number. The bank number in
the control data for the bank is then displayed twice, that is, as the
    bank key too.
    In certain countries, the bank account number takes on this function;
then there are no bank numbers and the bank data is managed using the
    account number.
For data medium exchange, you may find it useful to be able to enter
foreign business partners without a bank number, even if there are bank
numbers in the country in question. In this case, the bank key can be
    assigned internally.
To manage bank data using another key, for example, the SWIFT code,
external number assignment can also be used.                             </b></i>

  • Link tables and chart in checking register

So I've watched the tutorials, read the guide and looked online and I still connot do the following, it's about a year and a half of trying.  I have used the checking register to keep track of monthly expenses.  Here's what I want:
More categories on the pop up menu - I can do this
Link the smaller categories table to a achart - I can do this
Link the categories from the pop up menu on the big table to the categories on the small table and then to the chart - Nope
    Anyone?

    Allen? Devin?,
It's not automatic, but not difficult either.
Add a new row to the little Account Categories table. Click the Add Row button.
Typ3 in your new category name and then you'll have this:
Next Copy the new category name text. Select the Pop-Up cells and go to the Cells Inspector. Click the plus sign to add an entry to the list and Paste your new category into the list.
Click on the Pie Chart to highlight the Chart range in the Account Categories table. Drag the lower right corner down to include the row of the new category.
    That's it.

  • Checking register in numbers '09 - amounts not showing

I have a new checking register for each month.  January and February no problem.  Now I am in March and although all the categories are correctly set both in the table and on the categories list, and the pie chart is ready and linked to the categories, no amounts are showing.  Can anyone explain to me how I make the link please?  J

    Hi Julia,
The supplied formula is the one from the original template,
    =SUMIF(Transactions :: $D,A2,Transactions :: E)
    Transactions :: $D
is the Category column on the Transactions table.
    A2
is the cell containing the category name of the category to be summed (on the Account Categories table). The 2 changes to match the row containing the formula.
    Transactions :: E
is the Amount column on the Transactions table.
If you've added any columns to Transactions, one or both of the columns references will have changed. For example, some people have inserted a column between D and E, then used this new column E to record deposits the existing column (now F) to record payments, Since the Account Categories table is tracking only expenses, the formula should be changed to reference column F instead of column E.
    =SUMIF(Transactions :: $D,A2,Transactions :: F)
Your plan—to pick up the formula from an earlier month—should work well. When you copy the formula, follow these steps:
Select cell B2   in Account Catagories
In the Formula entry bar, select the formula and copy.
Click Accept to reconfirm the cormula in that cell.
Go to this month's document, select B2 and Paste.

  • Checking register, categories, subcategories

I am trying to use the Check Register to keep up with our monthly finances. I want to use categories and subcategories to keep track of expense accounts. How do I get the "category" on the Account Categories to read the "category" on the Transactions?
Here's how I want the categories set up:
    Automobile
    - Gas
    - Insurance
    - Taxes
Does it have to look like this in the Accounts Categories:
    Automobile
    - Automobile: Gas
    - Automobile: Insurance
    - Automobile: Taxes
And do I have to type these same long categories in the Transactions to get it to work?
Maybe I should just get an accounting program for the Mac! Arg!
    Amy

    Hi Amy,
    Welcome to the discussions.
I may not be the best one to comment on the Categories feature in Numbers because I think it's rather gimmicky. It's fine for what it is, but if you want to change anything about it you may become frustrated. First though, see if anyone else comes along with a simple solution within the constraints of Categories. Then consider other options.
If you don't like how Categories treats your data, you can just avoid it and produce the types of reports you want by using normal Numbers features. Numbers is very good for giving the user data layout flexibility. To me, that would be easier than trying to learn to use an accounting program for what sounds like a fairly simple need.
A good starting point would be to dummy-up some tables that portray your data as you would like it to be and then work on how to automatically get it to automatically compute in that format. You can get a lot of help with that here.
