G/L account not populated for Internal orders

Hello All,
PO amendment creation with reference to a PO of type Internal Order(Y) is prompting to enter the G/L account,
where as when we do the same for a Cost center(k) , it automatically gets it.
so i want to know does it is lacking of some configuration, or to fulfill this requirment , i need to put some code in required place.

Hi Nitin,
If you want to determine the G/L account, I can presume that you are using a material code that has defined a valuation class.
Then, it is only to customise the Account modification for the Account assignment category "F - Internal Order".
Go to SRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Account Assignment > Maintian Account Assignment Categories.
Then, double click on "F - Order".
In the next screen, in the Detail Information section, populate a value in the "Acct modification" field, i.e. VBR.
After that, the G/L account will be determined in the PO.
But, if you are not using a material code, make sure that your material group has defined a valuation class.
Check this in SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Material Master > Entry Aids for Items Without a Materials Master.
There, check the material group that you are testing and check if the "Valuation class" field has a value.
If this has a value, then, the G/L account can be determined once the customising mentioned above can be done.

    When we release a serivce order in CRM-Service, system is creating internal order. But it is not populating plant field in internal order. We have done the customizing of linking service organization to plant in CRM.     If plant is maintained in Customer-Material Info Master & Customer Master, it will be defaulted in Sales Order.
    But incase of Plant being maintained in Material Master, it is a common practice that it requires to be maintained in Sales Otder. If before entering the Material, Plant is maintained at Header level in sales Order, it will default in Line items, else it is required to be maintained for all Line Item.

  • Not checking the budget for internal order at the time Travel Request creat

    Hi All,
    I have two issues.
    (1) We activated travel managment in our system for public sector germany. In that case we need to create trip directly from PR05 instead of TRIP. I created budget for internal order but its not controlling and checking budget at the time of creation of the trip. We activated fund management also but i need control at internal order level. Please guide me.
    (2) While creating trip in PR05 what ever expenses mentioned in Trip it's committing and also i am able to see in fund management commitments report. We extracted reports based on COSP table. This commitment is not updating in this table. Please guide me which table is showing link between internal order and fund management account assignment objects.

    I maintained Budget profile and Tolerance limits. I am getting error only at the time of posting in PRRW.But i need to control at the time of saving the trip. I can use user exit to control. If there is any standard functionality of checking the budget at the time of saving then it should be good.
    For me main problem is i am not able to get report both trip commitments and fund management details. Please inform me in which table internal order and trip commitments are storing.

    This is to inform you that Unit Cost is not populating in Sales Order Lines. Ideally it should pick from OPM financials, but whenever i am running Cost Update it is throwing error. We need to pull out Unit Cost for Sales Analysis Report. Please suggest on the same ASAP. What are the steps needs be followed to populate the Unit Cost. Please suggest.

  • Actual and Commitments values are not Appearing in Internal order report

    We have done budget in KO22 for Internal Order and active the availability controle after that we made PO with the same IO and with account assignment category 'A' and GR also happened.
    So when we run the report (S_ALR_87013019 - List: Budget/Actual/Commitments ), system is not showing Actual and Commitments values...
    Please help me in this regard...

    In case of Account assignment category 'K'  it is showing the Actual values in Report.
    Why is it showing Actal /commitment values incase of 'K'  ?
    Why it is not showing when we select the 'A' category ?

    When i creating a PR i got sap message said "Do Not assign any objects in cost accounting to account XXXXXXXX ". Then i just press enter because it just a warning from SAP.
    My total Valution Price in PR is 10K. My PR is using Account Assignment A and have internal order (BUDGET)
    After saving. i check my internal order report (S_ALR_87013019), than i noticed that my total amount in PR is not reflected on My internal Order list.
    is there any condition missing ?

    The above warning message meant that your cost accounting is not configured for this account, in this case your account was not linked with internal orders, thats why it did not pick up the price there. You need to consult with FI to get this account fixed, or use some other account which is linked to internal order.

  • CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls

    I've a strange issue where CALLER ID not working for International incoming calls, it shows INTERNATIONAL UNKNOWN NUMBER in the phone display, but the number shows correclty in Verizon Call assistant !!!

    You didn't mention what country your Online Number is in.  Not all of Skype's Online Numbers are eligible for use as Caller ID when calling telephones or sending SMS messages.  If your number is from one of these countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), then it can be used this way.  Otherwise, you can use a mobile number from countries other than Japan or Mexico as Caller ID with Skype, after the number goes through a verification process where Skype sends SMS messages with codes to that number.
    To get to these settings, log into your Skype account here on the Skype web site using the "Account" link at the top of this page.  You'll see a screen that would include your current Caller ID settings, and a link to change that.  If your Online Number is from one of those countries I referenced above, just select it and you're done.

  • Excise modvat accounts not defined for DLFC transaction and excise group

    Dear Experts,
    Iam raising this question after checking all the contents related to Sub Transaction type in SDN.
    My prob is: for raw material sales scenario i have created order delivery and invoice. For Invoice i have done account determination with a different G/L in VKOA. Now i have to create an excise invoice and the accounting entry for central ED on sales should go to different G/L account. for account determination i have done the following settings:
    Maintained Sub transaction type in
    IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India -> Basic Settings
    ->Maintain Sub Transaction types
    IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India ->
    Account determination -> Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction.
    Here against DLFC sub transaction Type is maintained..
    Also
    IMG -> Logistics - General -> Tax on Goods movement -> India -> Account determination -> Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction
    Here maintained Excise group with DLFC Company Code subtransaction type, chart of accounts and all required GL Account .
    But when the iam creating Excise Invoice in J1IIN and clicking on Subtransaction type-F4, no entries are shown. No values found is the message in green. Message no. DH801
    If i use subtransaction type and enter billing document and enter, the following error message comes:
    "Excise modvat accounts not defined for DLFC transaction and excise group"
    Iam unable to understand why the subtransaction type maintained is not showing in TCODE J1IIN?

    For internal order settlement rule percentage is there but business wants  to settle from AUC to final asset by amount wise how can we do this.
    I tried to change the investment profile but it is coming amount field while saving it is not displaying.

    Here there is a tick for amount settlement under Indicators. You need to maintain this check box for your requirements.

    Now after settlement of above Order in KO88 . I want again use above internal order. Hence i have trying to put Settlement rule 50% for some anther asset but system gave me following error. Please guide on this issue.
    Total = 50.00%, ( Set.Type PER / Version / Actual settlement ), period 010/2011
    Message no. KD042
    Diagnosis
    You have entered distribution rules which settle 50.00% in total. This applies for settlement view ( Set.Type PER / Version / Actual settlement ) in period 010/2011.
    When checking the percentage total, the system found one of the following errors:
    The total percentage for the distribution rules is more than 100%
    The total percentage for the distribution rules is less than 100% and this is a rule for full settlement.
    The total percentage for the distribution rules is less than 100% and the 100% check is switched on in the settlement profile.

        1. If a preliminary settlement rule (for example, to cost center) is entered for individual items of capital investment measures with line item management, this rule is not considered during periodic settlement. There is no settlement to cost centers.
        2. If you enter a final settlement rule for individual line items of investment measures with line item management for a partial capitalization (that is, the percentage rate is less than 100%), then you receive the unjustified error message KD042 "Total percent = xx%".

I did come across a function module ALE_INTERNALORDER_DB_CHANGE which directly updates the internal order using insert statements. Can i use this for internal order change or this is any other Function module for updating the internal order.
    I dont want to use BDC as a option. Please suggest.

  • ATP for Internal orders

    Hi All,
    I'm a new Oracle user asking for your help. We are using the ATP for make-to-order items only in order to assign to the sales orders a scheduled ship date that consider the manufacturing LT set up in the "Cumulative Manufacturing" field in the org item. We receive two different types of orders- Sales orders and Internal Orders. It looks like the ATP works for the sales orders only. Could you advise if it is possible to set it up for internal orders as well?

    Thanks, but the internal sales orders will be sent to APO with a new Z ATP category. We want to know if this new Z ATP category can be used for example in the BOP also for back order processing.
    Also if there are inconsistencies, can inconsistent sales orders with the Z ATP category also be recognized in the Delta report, or do we need to make enhancements?
    I could not find a clear note which describes if you create a new ATP catagory for sales orders in APO which standard APO eports will work seamlessly with the new ATP categoy. And if the below reports should be enhanced (user exits, BADI etc) to make sure sales orders assigned to a custom ATP category will also be included in the comparisson between APO and R/3.

    Can any one tell me the setting for budget for internal order to avoid excess processing for procurement ?

    You have to configure your GL accounts.
    While creating GL a/c you will have to maintain Field status group as R017   Expense Accounts -Internal Order related in Control of doc creation in co code subscreen in tab Create/bank/interest.

    you can do teco complete by changing the internal order. for the bulk you write LSMW or SCATT.
