G/L accounts in Goods Issue

Dear,
can any one tell about the G/L accouts automatic generation .
ie if I do the goods issue ,  how the folowing G/L acoounts are generated automatically.....one for Cost centre , 2 nd one for Production ..and
What is mean by Valuation Modifier or Account Modifier  --use ?
and Which Transaction key to be used...

Hi Roshan,
Postings are made to G/L accounts automatically in the case of Invoice Verification and Inventory Management transactions relevant to Financial and Cost Accounting.
Example:
Posting lines are created in the following accounts in the case of a goods issue for a cost center:
Stock account
Consumption account
Posting transactions are predefined for those inventory management and invoice verification transactions relevant to accounting. Posting records, which are generalized in the value string, are assigned to each relevant movement type in inventory management and each transaction in invoice verification. These contain keys for the relevant posting transaction (for example, inventory posting and consumption posting) instead of actual G/L account numbers.
You do not have to define these transaction keys, they are determined automatically from the transaction (invoice verification) or the movement type (inventory management). All you have to do is assign the relevant G/L account to each posting transaction.If you need a different account then use the valuation modifier .

    There is a requirement from F&A department for different COGS GL account based on Customer Account Assignment Group value when goods issues (GI) (goods movement).  Customer Account Assignment Group field name is KNVV-KTGRD.   The solution is NOT possible for standard SAP SD (pricing procedure) / MM (T-Code:OBYC with GBB).    Therefore, I am searching solution for enhancement.

    The requirement is to provide different COGS GL account based on the Customer Account Assignment Group value(KNVV-KTGRD) when SAP performs goods issue.  for example, movement type 601,
    This means, when company ships goods to differnt customers, then SAP should generate different COGS GL account.
    for example, when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '01' (Domestic customers), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818100.
    when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '02' (export customes), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818200. 
    when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '03' (Testing - sample customers), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818300. 
    the logic is following:
    KNVV-KTGRD              COGS GL account at goods issue
    01 Domestic                 818100
    02 Export                     818200
    03 Testing - sample      818300
    04 Testing - VOM         818400
    05 Franchise                818500
    I am not good at user exist.  
    Can you please provide solution with step-by-step guide?

  • Default GL account upon goods issue to maintenance order based on activity

    Hi all,
    There's a scenario here in Plantation Industry that we require to default GL account upon goods issue to maintenance order based on activity type assigned in the order instead of only posting to consumption account, is there anyway in OBYC or user exit able to fulfill requirement mentioned?

    With help of general Modifier in combination of valuation class you can assign GL as per your wish for offset posting incase of GI to order/anything
    Example
    Transaction key-GBB
    General modification- VBR
    Valuaction Class - checked
    Dr/CR- checked
    Assign the general modifier to T code MIGO , through OMJJ

  • Different GOGS GL account for goods issue

    Hello SAP export,
    The F&A department requests to generate different COGS GL account based on Customer Account Assignment Group when goods issue (or billing). Customer Account Assignment Group field name is KNVV-KTGRD. The solution is NOT possible at T-CODE OBYC (with GBB transaction (MM FI configuration for goods issue) because we are using the same materials. (All materials are with same valuation class in MATERIAL master).
    I had posted this question in SD forums but the export suggests me to post in FI forum.
    If you know any workable solution, please help.

  • Accounts for Goods issue

    Hi all,
    After creating a Sales order, i created a outbound delivery document and did a Goods issue here. A material and accounting document is created for the Goods issue. In the accounting document i can see that it hits a G/L account and costcenter. Cost center is same as the one configured in OVF3. But i am not able to figure out from where this G/L account is coming. I didnt find the G/L account in OBYC (in GBB). Please let me know how system is getting this G/L account when posting the Goods issue for Sales order.

    you can check the G/L account in transaction OBYC under GBB transaction. for sales account modifiers used are VAX, VAY, VKA. Just check your G/L account in this Combination
    Or
    Go to transaction code OMWB , Click on G/L accounts.
    Give the Company code & Execute.
    This will give you the List of G/L accounts used.
    Click on Find & enter your G/L

  • Goods Issue with Purchase Account Management

    Hi,
    in one of our foreign subsidiaries we have to run the MM-Purchase Account Management. These subsidiaries will be delivered by Cross-Company Replenishment deliveries with intercompany-invoicing. Every Goods receipt for such an replenishment delivery will be posted in the receiving subsidiary, besides the normal bookings on the u2018Goods/Invoice Received clearing accountu2019 and u2018Stock accountsu2019, on additional purchasing accounts. Now itu2019s possible that the goods have to be returned to the delivering plant due to any problems. To send back the goods we use again a SD-delivery (triggered also by an MM-IC-Purchase order) and with this SD-delivery we want also to post the goods issue in the subsidiary. But as the goods receipt has been posted on these special additional purchasing accounts, the goods issue has also to be posted on these special additional purchasing accounts (The target is to correct these purchasing accounts to the ammount of the returned goods). But it seems that this is not possible because of the MM-Account determination which doesnu2019t allow to post on these special purchasing accounts with an SD-transaction. Iu2019m no MM-expert but is there any possibility to post on this purchase accounts also when posting a goods issue in SD? If not in standard, are there any User-Exits in the account determination?

    Hello,
    customer account assignment group will come into picture in revenue account determination only (VKOA), that too when the invoice is created through sales.
    At the time of goods issue the accounts will get updated based on the G/L accounts maintaned for GBB in OMWB.

         I have requirement ,where I need to  change the 'amount in document currency value (wrbtr)' in line item of a accounting document, which is created as part Post Goods issue through VL02N.
              I have already check BADI's below as follows:-.
    1) LE_SHP_GOODSMOVEMENT- No accounting document information flows in this BADI.
    2) AC_DOCUMENT - Field 'WRBTR' is not available in substitutable fields list.
    3) BTE-1050 - This BTE is not getting triggered while doing PGI.
            Please suggest any other possibilities to make the change.

  • No Accounting Document generated for goods issue in case of MTO scenario

    Hi all,
    I have MTO scenario & the industry is trading. So I have all trading goods. In SPRO - Sales & Distribution - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction I have determined requirement type as KE.
    In material master I have used strategy group as 20 for Make to order scenario. In the settings "Determination Of Requirement Types Using Transaction" I have determined the requirement type as "KE".
    The requirement type "KE" determines a requirement class "040 - MkToOrdNoValW/o cons". Here the account assignment category is "E-Ind. cust. w. KD-CO".
    Now I created a sales order, the system determined the requirement type as "KE". I saved the sales order, assigned the stock to the sales order  & created a delivery.
    I did the PGI also. But when I check in the document flow, for the material document the system has not generated any FI document where we see the accounting document for the "cost of goods sold" & "inventory" G/L accounts. The system gives a message "Material document 4900000023 does not include an accounting document".
    Note:
    1. When I create the sales order with normal MTS scenario, the system creates an accounting document for the material document at the time of goods issue.
    2. The valuation class in the material is 3100 for trading goods.
    3. The following settings have been made in OBYC.
    for GBB, the G/L accounts have been assigned for general modifier "BSA", "VAX", "VAY" & "VKA".
    Please suggest me as to where i am missing any settings.

    You need to check in the following areas:-
    -  check whether the material is defined as non-valuated stock
    -  go to OME9, select your Account Assignment and see whether you have checked the box "GR non-valuated".   It should not  have been checked

  • Accounting Document not generated after Post goods issue in delivery order.

    Dear Experts
    Greeting of the daays,
    Need your help on below issue.
    After making the post goods issue ,the system is not making the accounting document.
    The error given by the system is as follows:
    Material document 12365 does not include an accounting document
    Diagnosis
    The system cannot find an accounting document for the material document 12365.
    Possible reasons for this are:
    The goods movement has no relevance to accounting. Therefore, the system did not generate an accounting document for the material document.
    The material document is a document that was posted before Release 2.1. Such documents must be converted so that the system can find the relevant accounting document.
    The procedure for the subsequent calculation of value is not active in your system. For further information, refer to the documentation on the program for valuating goods movements: RM07MWBU.
    __Solution what I tried to solve this issue ,but not successful.__
    __Solution 1- maintain OMS2__
    __Solution 2 - maintain OMJJ- movement type 601 - PRCTR is required entry.__
    __Solution 3 - price maintain is material master.__
    __Solution 4 - OBYC - BSX - 7920 - GLA/c  and GBB- VAX and VAY - 7920 GLA/c.__
    __Pls let me know if there is any confirgation is missing.__

    Do this checks:
    In tcode OBYC check if you have the proper entries.
    Go to tcode OKB9 and do the settings for the G/L acc. that you have in OBYC.
    To populate PRCTR you can use OKB9 and you can check if you have values in MARC-PRCTR.

    At the time of Post Goods issue it generates an accountng entry.
    we are getting an error related to Profit center.
    we maintained profit center in the sales order. and please clarify me can we create cost element for COGS account which hits at this level.
    I am getting the following errror.
    Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
    Message no. GLT2201
    Diagnosis
    The field Profit Center marked as balancing is not filled with any value in line item 001, even after document splitting.
    System Response
    The document cannot be posted.
    Procedure
    First check your entries.
    Additional causes could be:
    No value can be derived for this field from the current document data.
    You have entered a document type that is not designed for this business purpose.

    If you define document splitting criteria based on Profit Center and if your document contains multiple line items with different profit center, this type of error will come.
    To check this, Go to IMG Path -- Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Document Splitting --> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger
    There check whether the mandatory check box is selected for profit Center.  So check in your delivery document, whether any line item does not have profit center.

  • Exit or substitution GL account when posting goods issue

    Hi out there,
    does anyone know how to change BSEG-HKONT via a subsitution ? It seems to be blocked for that purpose. Although if I unblock it in table GB01 this does not work.
    If there is no possibility does anyone know a customer exit to change the account determination for GBB VBR when posting a goods issue ? It is needed for special postings and I want to program it either in a substituiton or exit.

    It is possiable to change G/L through subsitution. But you will have to take help from abaper who will write code for the subsitution.
    Any subsitution which is realted to G/L can be written though the following path
    Financial Accounting (New)->>Financial Accounting Global Settings (New)->>Tools->>Validation/Substitution->>Substitution in Accounting Documents
    after that enter new line and double clik to write ABAP code based on your requirement.

    If the material is a valuated material for which you have done Goods Issue, then the accounting document must be generated. You can display the Goods Issue document from MIGO - Display option - Doc. Info - FI Document
