G/L allocation error

Hi Experts,
I am having a problem with an Item Group G/L allocation, we have assigned an item to a new Item group( was previously linked to a different group). The new group is allocated to a different account. However when we post invoices linked to this Item it still posts to the old account, is there any other changes I can make to guarantee that the invoices post to the correct account?
Your suggestions are much appreciated.
Regards,
Lebo

Hi Lebogang,
This can happen when an Invoice is based on a document that was created before the change of Item Group.
The invoice will copy the account that has been defined on the basedocument row.
Use form settings to display the GL account field on the row of the Invoice and the base document.
The same will happen if you manually change the GL account on the row, this will be copied to the target document and what is defined for the item in the group will not overwrite this.
If this is not the case let us know.

  • "Memory Allocation Error" when Building a DVD

    Hi all!
I have a problem. When I start to build a DVD. Encore stops with a "memory allocation error". The project I tried to build is 3.06 GB, so it's must fit to a simple DVD. My HDD has enought free space.
I tried to build it on two totally different computers but the error is the same. I didn't find any answer for this error. Can anybody help me?
I use Encore CS4, and the project is made in Premiere Pro CS3.
    The computer #1:
Windows Vista (but I tried also with XP)
    1 GB RAM
    250 GB HDD
    The computer #2:
    Windows Vista
    2 GB RAM
    160 GB HDD

I get the same! I was having an issue with video files from my digital camera, so I opened up Premiere CS3, which took them in and encoded them to MPEG-2 just fine (tisk-tisk! Premiere and Encore CS4 both failed to play them or encode them properly!!!)
Them I put these MP2 files into a project which has 2 menus, 4 video timelines, 2 slideshows with 200+ images and some background audio files (one linked to a menu, another plays in sequence after first finishes). The project is for PAL screen, and it is 4-some Gb, but less than a disk. I have 4Gb of RAM and 6Gb of page file, 70Gb free on my HDD. Running Vista Ultimate x64.
Slideshows render, and videos do not require transcoding, so the project is ready to build, it starts writing the ISO file, and crashes after 1.8-1.9Gb is written.
There seems to be no easy way to re-create my slideshow, or I would have just re-built the entire Encore file to see if that would work.
My PC is overclocked, I admit, I have not tried it without an overclock, but my system has been uber-stable for 12+ months! I will try and report if it fixes anything, but I doubt it. I have also tried to run this build after a fresh reboot with mostly everything turned off, to prevent system conflicts. If that's what it is, I must have missed something. But Encore CS4 is BUGGY LIKE GOD KNOWS WHAT!!!!! This is one crash I can't get around, but it's not the only one I've had. If anyone knows an answer, PLEASE post it here! Adobe guys please please please please! My project's already held up for a month!

  • Memory Allocation Error during Boot

    Hi,
I am posting this on a different computer than the one on which I istalled Java because I can no longer get it to boot.
    Here's the history:
I am working in Windows 98
I added a line to the autoexec.bat so that the PATH lines looked like this:
    SET PATH=C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1
    PATH=%PATH%;"C:Program Files\Mts";"C:j2sdk1.4.0_02\bin
I then rebooted and tried the javac and java commands in different folders and everything worked fine. I shut down the computer and tried to reboot a day later. The following are pieces of the message I received (I don't usually go near the autoexec.bat or system settings so I have no idea how to get past these errors, nor fix them):
    SET PATH=C:PROGRA~1\UTILIT~1\SYMATEC\PCANYW~1

General Protection Fault in C:WINDOWS\SCANDISK.ALT at
0090:1921This shouldn't have been caused by the Java installation. As I understand the situation, at load time scandisk has been called. This is usually due to the computer not having been shut down properly, or a sign of real problems. However, scandisk is unable to run.
You should try a forum/newsgroup for Windows for more help. My own suggestion would be to load to the command prompt (or try safe mode). (Press F8 during boot to get a menu.) And then run scandisk manually. If it works, try renaming the C:\WINDOWS\SCANDISK.ALT file and rebooting.

  • Checkdb found 6 allocation errors , how to fix ?

    HI Experts,
checkdb found  6 allocation errors, how to fix ?
    Thanks in Advance!
    Vijay

    Causes
    file system corruption,
    underlying hardware system issues,
    driver issues,
    corrupted pages in memory,
problems with the SQL Server Engine.
    Possible solutions
1.best solution if CHECKDB reports consistency errors is to restore from a known good backup.
    2. If you cannot restore from a backup, then CHECKDB provides a feature to repair errors.
    3. If system level problems such as the file system or hardware may be causing these problems, it is recommended you correct these first before restoring or running repair.       4. Allocation error in Index page, please recreate the index.

  • What is root cause of Error in InitVXI library. Allocation error in initialization?

The error result after executing ResMan;  Error: Error in InitVXI library. Allocation error in initialization.
    Hope you can help, thanks....

    Hi ctapa,
If by chance you receive this error when attempting to run ResMan outside of Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), then you will want to refer to this KnowledgeBase article, which details how to fix such an error/crash.
Curious--what operating system do you run for your VXI system? Also, what version of NI-VXI do you have installed? (You can check this in MAX, beneath the Software tree) In addition to the "Error in InitVXI Library..."  message you receive, do you see your system
exhibiting any of the problematic symptoms mentioned here? Replying with any additional information on your system and setup would be most welcome and aid in finding the cause of the issue.
    Kind regards, and happy holidays!

  • Memory allocation error when burning in premiere elements 2

I have premiere elements 2. I happily burnt a version of my dvd then suddenly it stopped burning and I had the above message during the burning section of the process. My computer has adequate memory to run this programme and nothing new has been added. I then downloaded Premiere elements 7 as a trial and burnt this Dvd yesterday. However today it won't burn through 7 either so i am reluctant to upgrade unnecessarily. Can anyone shed light on why I receive this error message.
Other things seem to burn but I am beginning to receive messages that Adobe is low generally on memory allocation.

  • Encore - Memory Allocation Error - With Dynamic Link

    CS4 using Vista
The process (AdobeEncore.exe *32) gets stuck at 959,736K while 6GB is available.
In the past I have built many DVDs using a Dynamic Link from Encore to Premiere Pro.
Now they all end in errors: Memory Allocation Error & Unable to Create Image Buffer.
I monitored the process in the Windows Task Manager.
The memory use for the (AdobeEncore.exe *32) process grows until it reaches  959,736K.
The memory use stops there but the process continues for a while and then Encore stops with the errors.
I guess is that (AdobeEncore.exe *32) has become limited to 1GB but the is plenty of memory available.
I can Import a file and make a DVD without using the Dynamic Link.
    Thanks

    Was probably a hardware issue.

  • Memory allocation error with disk image

I'm having recurring problems with a large encrypted sparseimage that I mount at /Users (an arrangement I prefer to FileVault.) The file contains one journaled HFS+ partition. Every so often, open files on the volume vanish or become unwritable. At the same time, I get a long series of messages in the system log of the form
    kernel[0]: disk4s2: memory allocation error.
There's plenty of memory available. When this happens, I have to log out all staff users, then unmount and remount the image. When I do so, fsck finds corrupted i-nodes, which it's able to repair. All is then well for a few days, except that the files that were affected when the problem occurred are gone and have to be replaced. I've tried the obvious things many times: creating a new image file from backups, deleting kernel caches, etc.
This looks like a bug in the HDI driver. I'd be thankful for genuine insight from anyone who actually knows something. Responses such as "Repair permissions" or "Reinstall Mac OS X" aren't needed. Thanks.

repair_rebuild is the minimum repair level for the errors found by DBCC CHECKDB (adv_tvs).
Help required on the above error mentioned

    Hi Rapunzel,
The minimum repair suggested is repair_rebuild you can try that. As per mssage there is corruption in your database and it can only be corrected by either repairing or Restoring from known good backup. For doing repair the database must be in single-user
    mode.
    Please read
    dbcc checkdb repair_rebuild option
Since DBCC CHECKDB with any of the REPAIR options are completely logged and recoverable, Microsoft always recommends a user use CHECKDB with any REPAIR options within a transaction (execute BEGIN TRANSACTION before running the command) so that the user can
confirm he/she wants to accept the results of the operation. Then the user can execute COMMIT TRANSACTION to commit all work done by the repair operation. If the user does not want to accept the results of the operation, he/she can execute a ROLLBACK TRANSACTION
to undo the effects of the repair operations.
REPAIR_REBUILD does not repair errors involving FILESTREAM data.
How big is database. If it is small and backup also is corruption free you should consider restoring from backup

  • Resman error: VXI A24 address allocation error on bus 0

When we execute resman.exe on our test system the following error occurs:
VXI A24 address allocation error on bus 0
We have the MXI Controller configured the same as other systems and our configuration is a pc and two VXI chassis. Anyone have any ideas on what could cause this error?

    Hi Jim,
I do not immediately know the solution to the problem you are seeing, but have a few troubleshooting suggestions:
    1. Check the pins on all of your MXI-2 connectors.  If the cable
has damaged pins which cannot be bent back to place, you will want to
    replace the cable.
    2. Try a single VXI chassis, and then the other.  If the problem
occurs with each chassis individually, then it is likely an issue with
    the PC or cabling.
    3. If the problem only occurs with one of the chassis in step 2, remove
all instruments from the chassis and try running resman again.  If
this solves the problem, add your instruments back one at a time to
isolate which instrument could be causing problems.
    4. If the problem occurs with both chassis in step 2, do you have another PCI-MXI-2 that you could try?
Let us know the results of your troubleshooting, and we'll be happy to help you out further.

  • Targetdataline.stop() causes memory alloc error

    Hi,
Im trying to run a Thread that records Audio when I press a button. I have no problem starting the thread, but I cannot seem to stop it without receiving memory alloc errors. Im try to stop is using targetdataline.stop followed by targetdataline.close .
I am running Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_29-b11-402, on Mac OS X (I am also using Netbeans IDE 7.1)

It seems to happen after the close() .
I tried moving the targetdataline.close() at the end of run() function (after the AudioSystem.write() ), but no such luck.

  • Nexus 7710 F348's TCAM Allocation Errors

Having issues  with new core on 7710's upgraded from 6.2(8a) to 6.2(10) running ACL's on all SVI's, Netflow, and DHCP Snooping with one VDC added along side the admin VDC with 2 F348 line cards and dual-sups.  The 6.2.10 upgrade was due to TCAM errors before finishing the entry of all ACL's.  After the upgrade I entered the command for hardware access-list resource feature bank-mapping.  Remaining ACL entries entered without issue, Netflow and DHCP snooping started.
During redundancy testing I can reload vdc 2 and while everything performs flawlessly when the vdc returns back online module 1 cannot be allocated back into the vdc due to tcam allocation error.   Checking the tcam allocation resources I see tcam 1 bank0 is half full, tcam 1 bank 1 is empty as is all others.
Can this be reallocated, re-shuffled around for better distribution ?? Do I have to REMOVE everything and reconfigure to do this ??  Dont like having to reset the entire switch to recover modules if a vdc reloads but at least the constant errors seem to have stopped unless trying to configure or unconfigure the bank-mapping to try resource pooling, even with atomic updates disabled.
Please advise, dont have time to call Tac right now, hope someone has been thru this already,
    thanks in advance.

In the inital post where I put "
The N7K sees the server MAC in the FIP snooping, it also sees the 5548  as it's FCF.  But the 5548 vfc is stuck in "initializing".
I meant to put N4K...not N7K...sorry about that.

  • Product allocation error while creating a sales order

    Hi Gurus,
My client is using the availability check against  product allocation functionality in sales order.while I am creating the sales order and entering the material system is throwing the error message product allocation XXX is invalid, after pressing the enter button system has thrown another error "incorrect index structure for table XMVERF_POS/000010" and unable to save the order.
I have checked the material master and the product allocation is assigned in basic data 1 view,I have also checked the IMG settings it has maintained and assigned to infostructure. Please let me know is there any config settings are missing related to product allocation.
    Regards,
    hari challa.

Please check if storage location is populated for the material. Also may be this material is a non-stock material and not relevant for storage location check.. If you have any non-stock items in your order and if you are populating the storage location in the order automatically, then this happens. Please check your code and bypass the check for non stock items.
    Hope this helps

  • "No more virtual tiles can be allocated" error message

This posting was made in April of last year but I can't reply to it so I'll post it all over again.
I just installed CS3 and I get the error message "No more virtual tiles can be allocated" when I try to run certain filters like most of the "sketch" ones.
I've tried to increase the memory usage to 1380MB (80%), Cache levels to 8 and I still get the error.
What's a virtual tile and how can I allocate more?

I had this on my Win 7 x64 machine. Just found a solution/workaround.
This machine had a single partition/logical drive C: and so was the swap location. The problem was circumvented by running in Admin mode but this causes other issues with registry and the IT team if you have to listen to one.
    I stopped the error.
But all I did was shrink my main partition and add a small partition so I have two local physical drives.
Now understand I did NOT tell PS to use that drive for anything. But it does create a temp file on the new logical drive call "300017921_MVM_0.tmp" when I do a distort lens correction.
Very interesting. It NEEDS a second drive, and uses it without being told.
