I have posted a G/L Document on 01/02/2014 and cleared the same document on 10/03/2014. The g/l open Items are stored in BSIS Table and Cleared items are stored in BSAS Table. Now i want see the value in table level on 10/02/2014 (Back date) in which table i found the values.

HI Satheesh,
You can get these values in BSEG table and FAGLFLEXT table for line items details. BKPF for header details.

• Error message: "This document contains photoshop data which appears to be damaged."

I saved the file I was working on by choosing "Save" from the "File" menu. Unfortunately after 10 min as I saved my work my PC had "issues" and needed to be manually shut off. I was trying to open the psd file after restarting my computer and I get this error message: "This document contains photoshop data which appears to be damaged. Continue and ignore the photoshop data?" I clicked okay and then I get just a black screen. No Layers or any pictures.
I have tried to preview in Graphic Converter, in Illustrator, in ACDSee, etc... Nothing... I just get a black screen. Also, I have tried file recovery programs: Stellar Phoenix PSD Repair V1.0 and Advanced PSD Repair v1.4
The program Stellar Phoenix PSD Repair V1.0 was able to recover only BMP picture 3.4 KB, it is so tiny that you can't see anything on the picture.
I also have tried to install plugin "psdrecover", for Adobe Photoshop. Unsuccessfully for some reason. The plugin does not want to be installed into the "plugins" folder. I did follow the instructions.
I am using Photoshop 6 version and Windows 7 operating System.
I am in dire need of help. I've been working on it for days. Is there any way to recover that file back?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're likely out of luck. We almost never hear of anyone recovering image data from a damaged PSD.
Some thoughts:
1. Set up backups.
2. Get in the habit of saving your master file in several different locations as you work on it.
3. Consider upgrading to Photoshop CS6, which auto-saves your work in the background. I'm not sure whether it would have recovered the data in your particular case, but it's possible.
4. Don't feel bad - go back and do the image again, and I'll bet it comes out even better in less time.

• F.13 Clearing Documents contain no data

Hi,
I have carried out F.13 transaction to clear some customer accounts.
However, the system displays that it has created a few clearing documents in the output.
But when i see the document postings, i see no data in the documents. It says List is empty.
Can anyone please clarify why the sysem is posting the null documents with the document numbers.
Thanks,
srikanth.

Dear,
Yes, It may wonder you when you display the cleared document and it has no line items generated because balance of both the item is zero...
For example.....
Debit entry in customer is Rs 1000 and it cleared by a creadit entry in the same customer of Rs 1000 so system will not generate any line item while clearing because both are knocked off...
Do not worry, nothing has gone wrong....its correct behaviour of the standard system..

• Find cleared document according entry date of clearing document.

Hi,
i have poor performance in this issue. I would find cleared document according clearing document. On selection screen are cpudt and cputm clearings documents and i need to find cleared document for these document.
First statement
select bukrs gjahr belnr into table i_bkpf from bkpf where cpudt in so_cpudt and cputm
Second statement
select burks gjahr belnr into table i_itab
for all entries in i_bkpf from bsas where bukrs = i_bkpf-bukrs
and augbl = i_bkpf-belnr and augdt = i_bkpf-budat
Third stat.
select burks gjahr belnr appending table i_itab
for all entries in i_bkpf from bsak where bukrs = i_bkpf-bukrs
and augbl = i_bkpf-belnr and augdt = i_bkpf-budat
all is OK but condition augbl = i_bkpf-belnr and augdt = i_bkpf-budat has very poor performance!!
How to solve it? Do you have any solution?
Thank you very much.

Hi Vidlak,
If you might have noticed, BSAK has a secondary index available (number 1) with the fields :
LIFNR
BUKRS
AUGDT
AUGBL
GJAHR
BELNR
BUZEI
in the same order. Now since you cant obviously build and query on the primary key atleast try to complete the secondary index key. I can see i_bkpf has BUKRS & GJAHR key, and in the index AUGDT comes before AUGBL hence in construct your where clause for the third statement as
WHERE BUKRS EQ I_BKPF-BUKRS AND
AUGDT EQ I_BKPF-BUDAT AND
AUGBL EQ I_BKPF-BELNR AND
GJAHR EQ I_BKPF-GJAHR.
this should certainly help improve performance.
Also seeing how many FOR ALL ENTRIES clauses u are using, one thing for performance improvement is ensure the table is NOT empty before using it and sort the table with its keys.
Hope its of some help.

Aditya

• Dropship_PO Receipt & AR Invoice in back date

The Business requirement is
The OU gets the Bill of Lading/Air Way Bill document offline after some time let's say within 10 days of actual Bill of Lading/Airway Bill Date. We are executing Dropshipment process. The PO receipt to be done on back date, which is the actual Bill of Lading/Air Way Bill date. The AR Invoice to be raised on the same backdated actual Bill of Lading/Air Way Bill date.
Example:
Actual Bill of Lading/Air Way Bill date: 25 Apr 2012
The documents are received on date: 05 May 2012
Dropship PO Receipt Date: 25 Apr 2012 (We will execute backdated receipt in system, on 05 May 2012 the receipt date will be entered as 25 Apr 2012)
AR Invoice Date (after Auto-import program): 25 Apr 2012
We are able to get the desired result in the open period. Just wondering, how to go about the issue when periods are closed for the last month (April).
Read that, the profile option INV:Transaction Date Validation doesn't work in case of PO receipts. Kindly advise.
With Best Regards,
Nirabh Nayan

Hi,
Once a Inv a/c period is closed, the period close process permanantly closes the period and system will not let performing any further transactions in that closed period. period can not be reopened as well.
If you know that there are pending transactions to be made in the last month of a/c year, As an exception you can keep the last period open till all the transactions are entered into the system. Normally this is the general process followed across. Accounting period is not closed sharply on the final day of the acct period.
If you are worried about std cost update and want to have updated costs for the transactions done in new a/c year, You can enter the cut off date in the inv org parameters as the last date of previous accounting period so that the transactions of the first month of new accounting period ( in your case May ) does not get costed. Once you close the previous period, you can update the cost thru std cost update and then release the cut off date for the new period transactions to get costed at updated cost.

• Which table of field "EXTENSION1" of vendor master data

Hi Experts,
I key in data in filed "EXTENSION1" (data line) for vendor master data, which table I can get this field?
Thanks.

Use this trick I learned from an ABAP friend of mine. Has a little of trial and error in it but its really good.
1. Open 2 SAP windows
2. In window 1, Go to ST05
3. Activate Trace
4. Go to window 2, access the field which you need to learn what table it is in. Ex. Go to XK02 to view the field. enter data in it.
5. Go to window 1, Deactivate Trace
6. In window 1, display trace
7. Check each table written there in SE11 and see if your field is in that table.

• Posting date and clearing date different in G/L clearing document

Hi Friends,
While clearing a G/L manually using F-03, the clearing date is entered in the selection screen.
The clearing document which is posted is posted with the posting date same as the clearing date mentioned in the selection screen of F-03.
In what situations can the posting date of a G/l clearing document be different from the clearing date?
Regards,
Shilpi

Hi,
The Clearing Date in F-03 is actually the Posting date, so in this case the posting date will be same as clearing date. But a clearing document can also be created when you reverse a FI document, in this case the Reversal document will have a clearing date different than posting date. Let me know if this info helps you

• Not to allow to save the billing document in the back date if FI period clo

Can anybody help me please. My FI period for october is closed. But there are still some open delivery documents in billing due list for October. So now let say on 7th december if i will make the billing documents by giving the date 30.11.2007 logically as FI period is closed it will allow to save the billing document but will not pass to accounting.
So this normaly happening in my industry endusers are creating the billing documents in the back date even after the period close so all the documents come into VFX3.
So can any body help me? Can we have any check if the FI period is closed for a perticular months if we will try to make the billing documents in the closed period it will not allow to generate the billing document rather saving the documents and blocking for accounting.

Dear laxmikanta
I also not come across the situation what you said and hence dont have much idea about authorization group.
However, on going through the F1 help, it says
Procedure
If only a limited set of users is to be able to post in a particular
posting period, proceed as follows:
o Add the posting period authorization (authorization object
F_BKPF_BUP) to the authorizations of the selected users. Assign an
authorization group (e.g. '0001').
o Enter the account type '+' for the posting period variant to which
the restriction is to apply. Enter the period(s) whose use is to be
restricted in the first period, those which are available to all
users in the second period, and the authorization group (e.g.
'0001') in the last column.
Examples
A posting period can be successively restricted. If, e.g. 10 users have
the posting period authorization with authorization group '0001', and 3
of these 10 users also with authorization group '0002'.
If the period is only to be accessible to the 10 selected users the
authorization group '0001' is entered in the posting period variant.
Access can later be restricted to the remaining 3 users by entering
'0002'.
From the above, I feel your requirement can be met.
Thanks

• FBL5N - cleared document display by 'Open at key date'

We are on ECC 6.0 and have recently upgraded from SP9 to SP15 in Financials. The users are saying that the report S_ALR_87012198 (which works the same way as FBL5N transaction) is now displaying the cleared documents differently.
For example, we have the following documents:
- invoice (RV) with posting date 11/01/09 and clearing date 11/20/09;
- payment (DZ) with posting date = clearing date = 11/20/09.
When the users run the transaction or report for Cleared Documents by using Clearing Date 11/20/09, both documents are displayed. However, when the users run the transaction for Cleared Documents by using 'Open at Key Date' 11/20/09 then only invoice (RV) is displayed.
The documentation suggests that 'open at key date' should include items that are open before or on the 'key date'. Also our users are saying that it used to display both documents with 'Open at Key Date' before the service pack upgrade, but, unfortunately, we're unable to verify this.
Could someone with lower version please verify how 'open at key date' option works for cleared documents? And is there any documentation that explains this?
Thank you.

NSRobert wrote:
> as the standard sap doesnt display the cleared and open items on "Open at key date"
Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify - there are two 'Open at key date' fields in FBL5N. First field pertains to the 'Open documents' radio-button and second field - to the Cleared documents radio-button. When the users choose 'Cleared documents' and fill in the second 'Open at key date' field, they expect to see the items that are currently closed, but that were open on the specified key date. And SAP does, indeed, display them, just in a rather strange manner (it seems that DZ document is never "open", according to the screen's logic).
It seems that we'll need to write to SAP for clarification, but I was hoping that someone could at least verify whether this, in fact, has anything to do with the support packs.

• Clearing Document Date do not follow the define clearing date in F-03.

Hi,
Clearing Document Date do not follow the define clearing date BKPF-BUDAT in F-03.
My user received the unpresented check statement from the bank on 31 Dec 2010. As 1 Jan 2011 is holiday and he came back to the office on 5 jan 2011. He post manual upload (Debit : Bank Outgoing and Credit : Unpresented Cheque) posting date 31.12.2010 (period 12/2010 and 01/2011 still open) . Hence the next step (same date on 5 Jan 2011) is to clear the Bank outgoing using F-03. He put 31.12.2010 as his Clearing date BKPF-BUDAT but when the system post the clearing date is 04/01/2011.
Please help

Hello,
Hope it helps.
But i can recall for the EBS bank statement upload into a previous fiscal year, ie, 31.12.2010. I had to close the current fiscal year temporarily.
See what happens in your system when it tries to clear with F-03. Though as mentioned re-check as F-03 will default to the system date --- today.

• Accidentally deleted iTunes, is there anyway I can download it again and have it just back up my iPod instead of clearing it of all data? All of iTunes files are still on my computer, but the actual program got deleted.

I was trying to clear space on my C drive and decided to delete programs that I didn't use or that I didn't recognize. (Bad idea, I know that now.) Anyways, accidentally deleted a program that iTunes needed to run and the computer said it would undo the uninstall and restart to fix the problem but when it restarted iTunes was gone. So my question is, after I download iTunes again, is there a way I can just backup my iPod to it's last sync (which was coincidentally right before I accidentally deleted iTunes) instead it being cleared of all its data? All of iTunes' files are still on my computer except the actual program itself.

Hi, InsaneCharlie.
Thanks for the question. I see you have uninstalled iTunes and want this program back. Start with completely uninstalling iTunes if present and all of it's components in the order specified in the article below. Once this is done, download and install iTunes. If none of your data was modified in the iTunes media folder, then your data should be present upon installation.

• "This document contains Adobe photoshop data which appears to be damaged.

"This document contains Adobe photoshop data which appears to be damaged. Continue and ignore the photoshop data?" --- I am getting this message when im trying to open a photoshop file which I have worked last couple of days and when I say “OK” I’m just getting a blank black background screen and nothing on it.. but the file size remains 10mb... Please help me to recover my designs..!!! pls..

Did you try opening a flattened version of the file? Press and hold down Opt + Shift (Mac) or Alt + Shift (Win) as you open the file. See if you're able to at least recover a flattened copy of the file that you can save as a JPG.
If not, I'm sorry to break this - you may be out of luck. There are lot of PSD repair programs - but they hardly work to recover all of lost data.
This error message is very rare and is usually caused due to a bad sector on drive, improper eject of USB (if your file was once stored there) or a hard drive that is about to conk. This is one of the reasons you should keep 'Backing up' - make it a process!
Btw, are you on Windows/ Mac OS?
Good luck.
