Rapid Mart for SAP - Sales / List of source tables

Hi,
a customer would like to have a list of the source tables that are read by
the Rapid Mart for SAP - sales (SA).
Has anybody such a list. I can only find information about the target tables.

Before I say this, if a customer wants to know the sourcing, that is intellectual property. If they own the Rapid Mart, then they have rights to the sourcing information. I never just give this information away since it's proprietary, and can be used without a software purchase to assist a prospect.
One approach I use is to install the Rapid Mart into an empty repository, then you can open the source SAP DataStore, and that will be all the source tables references. This will give you the comprehensive list, but as Werner suggested, you need to open each DataFlow and determine it's source table(s) and lookup table(s) to refine your search.

Rapid Mart for Generic Legacy ERP

Is it possible to engineer any Rapid mart to go against a generic legacy ERP? We have a Prospect who has Masterpack ERP and they wanted to know if they could reverse engineer an existing Rapid Mart to pull information from Masterpack into a datastore using the predefined schema. OR....Do we have a partner (rapid Decisions) that can do this?

Documentation for Business Content Rapid Marts Reports for SAP R/3

Hi,
As we have technical documentation for SAP BI business content BI reports on SAP HELP Portal,
is there any link where we can find the technical documentation for business content reports supported by SAP BOBJ Rapid marts for R/3 solution like for HR module.
I would like to know what kind of reports are available as a part of rapid mart business content and what are the measures ( key figures ), dimensions ( characteristics ) supported by each of these standard business content rapid mart reports.
I have referred business guide and user guide for HR rapid marts but they just give an overview of what analysis can be done.But there is no technical documentation for each of the possible rapid mart reports.

Combining SAP Rapid Marts

Is there detailed documentation or best practice guidleines on combing/merging SAP Rapid Marts?
Along the line of...
-Pros/cons of doing such?
-Does it make sense for some to be combined, not all?
-Master Universe approach or keep to the individual Universes (sounds like a multiplier of maintenance overhead)

Just caught the part where the target schema for SAP RMs includes all tables for all RMs so the target schema script is only run once.
So I guess it is just a matter of building out a custom Universe if there are needs accross the different areas

Rapid Deployment Solution for SAP CRM - Landscape

Hi
For the first time we have applied the Rapid Deployment Solution for SAP CRM ITSDO into our new DEV system. The activation of this RDS creates 2 transports (one WORKBENCH, one CUSTOMIZING)
I now need to apply the RDS to our QA and PRD systems - is it enough to just transport the 2 transports or do I need to do the entire activation again in both QA and PRD systems?
I would really appreciate any assistance here.

Just wondering how you got on with those transports.. Was it sufficient for you to release the Solution Builder transports to target system or did you need to carry out manual activities in the target system?
Also, What did you do with regard to activating the reporting client in the target system? did the transport take care of everyting?

EHP 6 for Sap ERP availability

Dears ,
I'm planning to upgrade to EHP5 a lot of ECC 604 systems, but I would like to know pratically when EHP6 should be available.
I would like to avoid to have the EHP6 in GA while I'm in the middle of the EHP5 upgrade of some system......obviously if the EHP6 is available we have to upgrade to EHP6 instead of EHP5.
Anyone know when it's going to be released ?

The EhP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 is currently in Ramp-Up phase, and the completition of this Ramp-Up phase is planned for the second quarter of 2012.
Therefore, the General Availability of EhP6 could be between May and June 2012. Anyhow, this GA date is not fixed and it is subject to change depending on how the Ramp-Up phase is going.
I would recommend you to check the Product Availability Matrix (http://service.sap.com/pam); once that the release date for EhP6 is published you will be able to see it here:
[http://service.sap.com/pam|http://service.sap.com/pam|Link to the Product Availability Matrix] --> in the Search box write EhP6 and click the "Search in PAM" button
There you will find the date when the EhP6 will be released.

How to find the various IDOC types/messages types available for total SAP FI module.My client wants to generate interfaces to get the data from legacy into SAP and from SAP to legacy.I think Client provides only description of the interface like Vendor Account posting and Customer payment so I want all the IDOC types/Message types that are related to SAP FI.
