G1x mark II setting the function rings

I just upgraded from a s90 to a G1x Mark II. In manual mode the lens ring is what sets the aperature,shutter speed ISO etc. Is there a way to set the 'function ring' on the back of the camera to take up some of these functions? On the s90 the 'function ring' did these tasks while the lens ring was for the zoom. Thanks.

AlanBrownArt, The PowerShot G1X Mark II does not have the same Stitch Assist mode some of the older models had. All this mode did in the past was help you to line up the edges of each image taken in the sequence. All of the stitching together of the images was done using software after the images were downloaded, which is still the case. All you need to do is take each image in the sequence overlapping each by about 1/4 to 1/2 of the image, then use the software to assemble them into a panoramic image.

Something is setting the function keys, but I don't know what.

I recently installed Arch on a Lenovo T340s and I've been struggling with getting all the function keys to work. They all give out codes, but I can't seem to get them all to work with acpid. Those problems are a different topic/thread.
What's weird though is that some things are already set somewhere automatically and I'd like to figure out where.
For instance, there's a mute key which works both in X and in console. It's not set in /etc/acpi/handler.sh, neither have added any mapping for XF86AudioMute in Awesome, so it's not that either.
The suspend combination (Fn+F4) also works without any configuration and considering I could configure what happens upon suspend in systemd, I'd guess that it's configured somewhere there, but I'm not sure.
Same thing for wireless toggle (Fn+F5).
The point of me asking is that I figured that it would be a good idea to configure all of these keys in the same place.

Some of these could be hardware toggles and/or run from BIOS. The wireless definitely is - it willl not interact with your wireless management software, it simply toggles power to the transciever which can be seen with rfkill.
It's possible the mute key could also be a harware switch for the speakers - but I've never seen this done before. The fact that it works in the console as well would support the suggestion that it is a hardware toggle, but I'm still skeptical.

Set the phone ringer to "silent" ?

Just got my iPhone today.
I'm a little surprised that there isn't an obvious way to set the phone ringtone to "silent" from the main screen. In fact, I wasn't really able to figure out how to set it to silent/vibrate only.
What happens if you're in a meeting and quickly need to change it? I'd expect a button on the main screen for that, at least.
Have I missed something other than the volume controls on the side?

If you bought it new, yes. Look in the cardboard divider that rests below the iPhone and above the accessories, Mine contains a brochure labeled "Finger Tips" and the FIRST picture shows the location of the four physical controls.
It also conatins a guide to general use and maintenance in a brochure called "iPhone", and two Apple logo decals.

Setting the function module from sap r/3 to EWM ?

Hi Gurus,
Here i have one question, that I have a FM that will cut first 5 digits of Track number,,,so my issue is that tracking number are comming from EWM to R/3 both are in different servers, EWM also SAP component,,,so now the same functionality i have to settup between the R/3 to EWM.
Pls advice guys,,,,,,,need to resolve it.

Actually this functionality is modifyed for the DM( Third party) To sap R/3 FM name is Z_BV_DMPLUS_ORDER_SHIPPED .Right now is working for DM TO r/3.Now they want to use EWM for some plants insted DM+ , so data is comming to EWM from legacy and From EWM to R/3 have to setup work for the same functionality,,,,Let me if you need any more information ,,,,That cut of 15 OUT OF 22 and updating in Handling unit in VL02N,,,,that filed lenght is only 20,,,SO when the track number > 20 then cutting of 7 digits and rest of the digits has to update ,first 7 are accounting number of client.

8330 Call Forwarding...How do I set the number of rings before calls are forwarded? Right now it instantly forwards my calls but I don't want that. I want to change it so that let's say that if after 5 rings I don't answer the call is forwarded. I've looked everywhere for an answer but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I am with Virgin Mobile if this makes a difference.

Well, call forwarding is a feature provided by your carrier -- it is not a function of the device. However it works for your carrier is how it works. Actually, from what I understand about call forwarding, it normally is an all-or-nothing circumstance...calls forward to the number you've asked them to be forwarded to, keeping you in a DND status. Regardless, though, if your carrier tells you how it works on their system, there's nothing that the device can do to override that. Unless there is some kind of 3rd party app that would do it, bypassing (somehow) the carrier network CF feature...but I've never heard of such a thing.

Did you purchase the ring tone on our website or on the phone?
If it was purchased online the ring tone is sent to you in a message and you need to save the ring tone first http://bit.ly/PKUfUg and it is saved as a ring tone you can go in and set it as your default ring tone http://bit.ly/R5Xa4o.
If the ring tone was purchased on the phone you just need to go into your ring tone to set it up http://bit.ly/R5Xa4o.

'setProgress is not a function' error while setting the progress of a progress bar manually

I want to set value of a progress bar in an accordian but I am encountering 'setProgress is not a function' error. Any idea what's wrong with following code.
Observation:
If I move the progress bar out of the Accordian then the error goes away and the progress bar appears fine.
I want to set the progress bar eventually to {repMonitor.currentItem.threatLevel} but for now I am just testing with hypothetical threat value i.e 60

External Trading Partner is sending the EDI 856 via AS2 URL to our Oracle B2B Server.
In the inbound 856 agreement, we have checked the option of Funtional Ack and also Functiona Ack handled by B2B is yes.
We have the outbound agreement which is sending that Functional ack 997 (auto generated by oracle b2b) and we have specified the Outbound AS2 channel of the Partner.
997 doc is being sent to external partner using AS2 channel, but the filename is generating as '40101'.
Please can you let me know how to set the AS2 fileName for outbound Functional Ack 997 auto generated by Oracle B2B.

AFAIK, there is no option to set the file name when the 997 is generated automatically by B2B.
Alternatively, if this is a must requirement, you can generate the FA from backend and send to B2B with MSG_TYPE =9. In this case, you can set the header with filename (How to set the actionname property in B2B 11g)

I have a requirement to call a java class function which returns a hashmap object from the jsp. The java class in present in one jar file and that jar file is location somewhere in unix path. So the requirement is to set the classpath for that jar file and then create the object of the java class and then call the function.

It is never advisable to store large data sets in the session. But it will depend on a lot of factors:
1. How costly is the query retrieving the data from the database?
If it's a complex query with lots of joins and stuff, then it will be better to store it in the session as processing the query each time will take a lot of time and will decrease performance. On the other hand if the query is simple then it's advisable not to store it in the session, and fetch it each time.
2. Are there chances for the data to become stale within a session?
In this case storing the data is session will mean holding the stale data till the user session lasts which is not right.
3. How many data sets does the session already holds?
If there are large no. of data sets already present in the session, then it's strictly not advisable to store the data in the session.
4. Does the server employ some kind of caching mechanism?
Using session cache can definitely improve performance.
You will have to figure out, what is the best way analyzing all the factors and which would be best in the situation. As per my knowledge, session is the only place where session specific data can be stored.
Also, another thing, if the data set retrieved is some kind of data to be displayed in reports, then it would be better to use a pagination query, which will retrieve only the specific no. of rows at a time. A navigation provided in the UI will retrieve the next/previous data set to display.
