G4050 wont scan on new laptop

I have a new DV7 laptop, running windows 7 premium 64bit and I installed the software for my scanjet g4050 but I keep getting error messages when trying to use it. It asks me to try the basic plug & unplug, restart computer, check connections, updaate drivers (WHICH ARE ALL UPDATED) and nothing is working obviously since I'm here. I get the following extended error message at the bottom of the popup screen that reads 4,[(0,7,80004005),(2,6,80040005),(3,6,0)].   I just want to scan some slides and pics. Can anyone help?

    It sounds like you are trying to update your iPod with your new computer. Without knowing the specific symptoms, I recommend you start with choosing the iPod model you have from the following website:

    I just bought a new laptop that came with itunes already installed .... it loaded fine the first time but ever since I clicked yes to upgrade it won't load. initially it said that there were files missing so i have restored the pc, tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times , now it comes up with a window saying itunes has encountered an error and needs to close....

    what u did is right, quicktime is what disrupts the loading of the iTunes, u shouldnt have anymore problems, although a few new computers are having problems with iTunes.. Hp, Dell, Packard bell comes with a warning about itunes compatability...

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
    I understand that you can not scan with the Officejet 4630 on the new Windows 8 computer.
    Are you able to print with the printer on the new Windows 8 computer?
    Try running the HP Print and Scan DR, this will look into the drivers, software and communication used between the two and have a very high chance of fixing this for you.

  • Itunes wont install on new laptop..Plz HELP!!!

    Going absoluteily crazy here.. I have anew Asus laptop (64bit) Windows 7 and it will not install Itunes.. I'm using Firefox and the file downloads from the apple site but when  going to install it says Security warning, Publisher could not be verified.. I click on run anyway because i know it's from the apple site but then absolutely nothing happens.. I'm not very tech minded when it comes to computers and i'm at a total loss of what to do.. Can somneone please help??????

    Tried that.. After downloading the file it said file was unsafe and wouldn't install.. Never come across a problem like this before!!

  • ITunes wont open from my external hard drive onto my new laptop

    i have an external hard drive connected to my desktop with all my itunes music on there. but when i connect the external to my new laptop, itunes wont open. it says i dont have itunes support or something like that. and the reason i have my music on the external is so i CAN open itunes from another computer. but this isnt happening right now. someone please help.

    We'll try a "standalone" installation of Apple Application Support, then. (It may not install, but at least we'll have a better idea of what the problem is, based on any error messages we might get.)
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
    Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?
    If instead you get an error message during the install, let us no what it says. (Precise text, please.)

    i have been using my hp c5580 all in one for years. i scan all my documents as pdf files. i have recently bought a new laptop with windows 8.1. when i scan documents it saves them as jpegs it will not give me the option to save as pdf now. i also do not have the hp solutuion center any more. how can i fix this. pdf files are very important in my line of work.

    - Transfer iTunes purchases:
    iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
    - Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
    newer copy
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup
    Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

    I see that you are unable to scan with the Photosmart 1315.
    What driver are you using?
    The driver listed in the url below is a basic print driver that will allow you to print only.

    iCloud backups do not have seperate passwords, it is merely the password to the Apple ID.
    If attempting to restore via iTunes on a computer and the system prompts for a passwod to restore, there are two possible options:
    1) The user enabled backup encryption.  If so, enter the password.  There is no way to reset or remove this password.
    2) The backup is corrupt.  If the user never selected backup encryption and the backup is asking for a password, the backup is corrupt.  Delete the backup and restore as new.
    Relying on PhotoStream for storing all your pictures taken with the device is extremely unintelligent.  Old pictures roll off of PhotoStream after 30 days or 1000 pictures, whichever occurs first.

    Are you using fast user switching on that PC? If so, that message usually indicates that iTunes is open in a different Windows user account on the PC. Go into the other user account, quit iTunes and log back into your user account. Try launching iTunes again.
    If you're not sure which other user account has iTunes running, restart the computer. Does iTunes launch without the error after the restart?

    It sounds like you restored the library in a way which has the library assoicated with the tracks on the external rather than the internal drive. Did you perhaps use iTunes to consolidate to that drive before the transfer and copy the library files over independently?
    I have script called FindTracks that can usually repair broken links, alternatively I might be able to guide you through some steps that would make the library on the external drive work as a self contained unit, and having done that you should be able to copy the library files to the internal drive to repair that one. See make a split library portable for details.

    Now sync your iPod.
