G4Ti4200 delay

Hi,
I have problem (can I call it hunt on ghost?) with MSI G4Ti4200 128MB. Graphic is freeze every 2sec on 0.3sec! I try to update drivers/bios/all other SW, change IRQ, change Bios settings, Detonator settings, VIA chipset drivers, 4x reinstall Win (tested WinXP, WinXP SP1 release 2002). This problem I have for last 14 days in 14 / 15 starts of Win. Graphic freeze in 2D, 3D, OpenGL, Direct3D... everywhere, I cant normally watch film / play game etc.
I tryed 3DMark and there was framerate about 0 in this "freeze time", total framerate is lower.
Sisoft Sandra cannot find any problem with anything in my computer... Everything is working well, just this "freeze time" is... ;(
My computer specification:
CPU: AMD 1.4GHz Thunderbird
MB: MSI K7T266 Pro (MS-6380)
RAM: 256MB PC2100 + 256MB PC2700 (no conflict)
HDD: WD 40GB, 20GB    both UDMA 5
SOUND: SBLive 1024 Player!
NET: 3Com, PC2PC
TvTuner: AverMedia Tv Studio
CD: TEAK CD-W540E, Lite-On 52x
Powersource: 300W (Bigtower), APC 500.
OS: WinXP SP1 release 2002

You ´re looking for automation parameter "Tap time" - if you open the automation parameter menue of you DD Plug In you will find a subfolder for each tap from A-Z - at the very bottom you find Tap time which can be automated like any other parameter. It's displayed in Milliseconds so just double the number and the delays will switch from 16th to 8th notes.

    I hope someone can help...
    I have the G4Ti4200-TD 128 meg card, and my problem is when I attempt to run 800x600 resolution. I'm not sure how to describe what happens but it looks like all the rows of pixels rapidly shift back and forth... making images looks like this..
    instead of this...
    My monitor is a Sony Trinitron Multiscan 200ES 17"
    Computer is a Compaq Presario 6010CA w/ Athlon XP 1700+, 512 meg pc2100 ram. it is on an NVIDIA nFORCE mobo (default retail board for 6010CA model)

    I hope someone knows what is going on, and a fix for it... otherwise perhaps someone could direct me to an MSI repair dropoff location in the Oakville Ontario area?
    Thanks

    Hi...
    Sorry for the delay.
    I am running Windows XP Pro, and generally 1024x768 32 bit. However, I have tried just about ever combination under the sun, but when the application (games) run at 800x600, or I set my desktop resolution to 800x600 I get the wacky sqiggles.  :(

  • Preview of loops has effect on it (digital delay)??

    Previewing my drum loops (all music loops actually) ... I'm picking up digital delay. Where is it coming from?
    When I drag the loop to the arrange window the effect is still there ... even though there is no effect assigned to that particular audio track.
    I'm just getting up to speed on this Logic update. So I'm at a loss. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
    Ben

    Aha!!
    This is only happening when I am using the beat mapping. I have a piece of audio I've 'beat-mapped'. Now I want to add a loop to it. But the loop previews, and the loops when I add them to the audio track, have some weird digital delay effect on them.
    This isn't happening if I'm NOT doing a beat map. Everything is normal.

  • Huge delay in Printing Crystal Report Layout

    Good Day Experts,
    I am experiencing big delays when printing a document that makes use of a Crystal Report Layout Design.
    For example,
    The Sales Quote is set to automatically print when added by the user.
    When clicking 'Add', SAP freezes up and only about 30 seconds later does the printer finally print the document.
    During that time, the user cannot use SAP at all.
    The layout does have a lot of fields and a few formulas here and there.
    Logically, I am thinking that that is the reason for the delay, as SAP needs to calculate and populate those fields.
    Is there any other way that I could speed up this process? Or if you know what might be causing this speed issue?
    Your assistance will be appreciated,
    Thanks
    Regards

  • To delay a program submitted in background from another transaction.

    Hi All,
    There are 2 programs 'A' and 'B' . During execution of 'A' , 'B'  is called and submitted in background using FM Job_open & Job_close and submit query.
    My requirement is to Delay the Program 'B' by 2-3 mins without delaying Program 'A' .
    I tried using FM JOB_OPEN export condition sdlstrttm   = w_starttm but was of no help.
    I also tried using statement wait up to 120 seconds but this also makes wait to program 'A'.
    Please suggest solutions to this.

  • How can I eliminate delays in one NIC when there is traffic on second NIC

    Using LabVIEW TCP/IP VIs, my LV application is  accessing a database though a LAN, and  through a second NIC, it is controlling an instrument.  The instrument is connected directly to the computer NIC with a cross-over cable.  I have made a permanent route for the IP address of the instrument in the IP route table.  The LAN and the instrument have different subnet numbers.  Using a packet sniffer, I don't see any traffic meant for the LAN going to the NIC connected to the instrument.  The OS of the computer is Windows XP and the NICs are PCI cards.
    The message traffic to the instrument suffers from intermittent delays when there is traffic going to the LAN.
    How can I eliminate the delays?  What could be the cause of the delays?  Thanks in advance for your recommendations and suggestions.

    Hi LabBard,
    Could you tell us a little more about the device that you are connected to? What you could try is to have a VI accessing the LAN, and a separate VI communicating with the instrument, and see how things play out.
    Let us know how it goes!

  • Time delay between 2 waveforms

    Hi,
    Please bear with me while I explain what I’m trying to do :-)   Basically, in the attached LabView file (“flow vis + trigger-m.vi”), I am generating 2 signals: a sinusoidal waveform (used to drive an actuator) and a square waveform (used as a TTL signal to trigger image capture on a CCD camera). Currently when I run the program using LabView 7, both signals are started simultaneously. I would like to introduce a time delay that can be manually specified in the VI, such that when the program is started (i.e. at time t0), the sinusoidal waveform also starts (i.e. at time t0) before the square waveform (i.e. at time t0 + delay time). In a practical sense, this means allowing the actuator to run for several seconds before capturing any images.
    It sounds like it should be quite straightforward to do, but I’m not so sure how to progress. I have begun to modify the original VI (“flow vis + trigger-m_2.vi”, as attached), but would be much appreciative of any help or suggestions on how I can complete the VI to meet the above requirement.
    Many thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
    I forgot that all analog waveforms generated needed to have the same number of samples in a single task. By introducing a delay into your square wave, I effectively added samples that waveform. So the same number of samples added to the square wave has to be added to your sine wave. I added code that extends the number of samples of your sine wave (# delay + square wave samples). Let me know if this works for you.

  • The difference between how PV is calculated if lag or delay is used in scheduling

    When scheduling tasks, it is possible to add lag from the predecessor (which is useful for an amount of time which must pass before the next task (paint drying, for example), or to add delay (task form\schedule\delay).  Delay seems to be useful for
    adding slack into your project in planning, as it is time that could pass before the next task, but doesn't necessarily have to.
    First - do I have this assessment correct?
    Second - does MSP calculate PV based upon when tasks appear in the schedule regardless of whether they are there due to lag or delay, or do tasks presented with delay assume that they will start straight away, without the delay?
    An aside - the reason that I've been playing with this is because of a bug in the previous version of MSP where an EV graph could not be generated if EV was calculated using physical % complete.  Has this been fixed in MSP 2013?
    Thanks for your help!

    First, the lag (and not delay) in the task form is to be entered in the Predecessors/successors form and not the schedule form. The delay in the schedule form is the delay on an assignment, meaning the delay a resource has on a assignment. And indeed it
    is not required but just an option given to the scheduler.
    The PV (or
    BCWS) is calculated based on this formula:
    timephased baseline costs of the task up to the status date. The lag just implies that the task will occur later in the project, thus the PV will take into account the lag.
    AS per the bug, I couldn't experience it, thus I'll let you or others folks give a feedback on it.
    Hope this helps,

  • G4Ti4200-VTD64 voltage incompatibility with MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR??

    Hello,
        I have the MSI G4Ti4200-VTD64 (4X) video card..  I want to upgrade my motherboard to K7N2 Delta-ILSR. Is there any voltage incompatibility?? I heard that new mother boards will support only AGP 1.5V. Is the AGP voltage of K7N2 Delta-ILSR 1.5volts??  Is my video card compatible with this voltage?? I really want to retain my current video card as I am quite satisfied with it and I'm not willing to invest on a new one at the moment. If there is an incompatibility could you suggest another Socket A MB with good performance and SATA RAID support.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Joseph

    Joseph,
    All 4X Vid Cards work on all 4X and 8X mobos. All 4X mobos work with all 4X and 8X Vid Cards.

  • Instead of "Mailbox busy", Mail asks for password, long delay

    We're testing Mail as a replacement for Eudora at my place of work. There is a POP account (not .mac) that is checked by five people. Using Eudora 6.x, if one person was checking the account, anybody else trying to check would get a Mailbox Busy message. Using Mail, you'd get an alert symbol next to the mailbox in the mailbox list, but next time mail was checked and the mailbox wasn't busy, it would work fine.
    We just switched to a new mail server yesterday (on a Vereo host?) and now, though Eudora is behaving as before if the account is busy, Mail will pop up a box saying the password wasn't recognized, asking for the correct password, and then there's a loooong delay while it times out.
    I presume the new server is sending some kind of busy message that Mail interprets incorrectly, but it's a show-stopper for us. Currently our options are:
    1. Stop using a shared mailbox (my personal preference, but the actual users might not go for it)
    2. Find out from the provider why the new server is causing this behavior (fat chance--they're likely to blame it on our weird Apple software)
    3. Find out how to make Mail interpret the busy signal correctly.
    4. Forward the account's mail to all the users' own addresses, instead of having them check that account themselves (am doing this now, will see how it works out. It will require more storage space on the server, at a minimum.)
    I'm trying to find out if the server supports IMAP but in any case that would not be a workable solution for us.
    Any feedback or enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

    There were four (count them, 4) references to Earthlink. I deleted them, restarted Mail, and so far so good.

  • Deleted Item not actually getting deleted or **delay** deleted thus getting refetched (EWS Managed API)

    I am polling Exchange Server to fetch all the mails left in the Inbox and then fetching them, processing them and finally moving them to the deleted folder. My procedure takes following form of EWS Managed API calls:
    1 itemResults = service.FindItems(WellKnownFolderName.Inbox, itemView);
    2 //some code...
    3 service.LoadPropertiesForItems(itemResults.Items, itItemPropSet);
    4 //some code...
    5 foreach(Item item in itemResults)
    6 {
    7 //process item
    8 item.Delete(DeleteMode.MoveToDeletedItems);
    9 }
    To test this code I flooded the inbox with 5000 mails, 5 threads flooding 1000 mails each at the interval of 4ms.
    After test run, I realized some mails are getting processed multiple times.
    When I read the soap traces logged using TraceListener, I realized that when there are more than 100 mails in the inbox, there are more SOAP packets were dispatched in burst of 100s.
    Logically below set of SOAP Packets (let us call it "Set 1") should occur only once:
    <m:FindItem>...</m:FindItem> //generated by line 1
    <m:FindItemResponse>...</m:FindItemResponse> //generated by line 1
    <m:GetItem>...</m:GetItem> //generated by line 3
    <m:GetItemResponse>...</m:GetItemResponse> //generated by line 3
    followed x number of Delete SOAP packets for x number of mails in the Inbox
    <m:DeleteItem>...</m:DeleteItem> //generated by line 8
    <m:DeleteItemRepsonse>...</m:DeleteItemRepsonse> //generated by line 8
    However if there are say 325 mails in the inbox, then there first occurs 4 occurences of Set 1 followed by Delete SOAP packest as follows:
    //1st occurence
    <m:FindItem>100 items</m:FindItem>
    <m:FindItemResponse>100 items</m:FindItemResponse>
    <m:GetItem>100 items</m:GetItem>
    <m:GetItemResponse>35 items</m:GetItemResponse>
    //2nd occurence
    <m:FindItem>100 items</m:FindItem>
    <m:FindItemResponse>100 items</m:FindItemResponse>
    <m:GetItem>100 items</m:GetItem>
    <m:GetItemResponse>35 items</m:GetItemResponse>
    //3rd occurence
    <m:FindItem>100 items</m:FindItem>
    <m:FindItemResponse>100 items</m:FindItemResponse>

    <m:DeleteItemRepsonse>...</m:DeleteItemRepsonse>
    //334 more of above
    So there are 100 + 100 + 100 + 35 = 335 items actually getting handled, which is 10 more than what are actually present in the inbox.
    Also notice that Delete SOAP packets are queued till end. They are not dispatched in burst.
    First thing I realize dispatching SOAP packets in burst of 100s is EWS Managed API behavior. I guess there must be traffic reason behind it and there must be some configuration setting to tweak it.
    Q1. How can we change this count of 100?
    I inferred that there are some overlaps in fetching of mails.
    So I copy pasted SOAP Traces for first two of
    <m:GetItem>100 items</m:GetItem>
    in two different files, and compared them in text comparer. I realised that some mails that are at the end of the first 100s were reappearing at the beginning of 2nd 100:
    This is the pattern in many test runs.
    Due to this these overlapping mails, these mails are getting processed twice. Also the attempt to second time delete them was throwing exception : The specified object was not found in the store.
    So I guess there is time delay in delete mail API call and mails actually getting deleted, between which they are getting refetched.
    Q2. How can I handle this to avoid redundant processing of mails and unnecessary exceptions.

  • Voice delay with iPhone 5s

    I experience voice delayed conversations when using my iPhone 5s - way more than my 4 ever had. Why? Verizon in both cases.

    If anything, that would more than likely be carrier related. I used to see that a lot with Nextel devices. It had to do with their network. You can try a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. See if that helps. You can also go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings, which will also reset your cell network, and any wi-fi networks and passwords and see if either helps.

  • IPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds recorded. This happens randomly and often and sometimes has the delay but starts at zero. Solution Anyone?

    After iOS 7 update, my iPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds that it shows has recorded. This happens randomly and often, sometimes it will have the 5+ second delay but starts recording at zero seconds. Besides the delay it has been working fine as far as saving and playback is concerned. I have plenty of storage on the phone itself and it NEVER had this problem before I updated to iOS 7. I've reset the phone a couple times by holding down the power and home buttons at the same time. The reason I have an issue with this is that I'm always recording song ideas, melodies, and scratch takes; what I'm saying is when I come up with an idea I need to be able to know that when I hit record it will start right then so I don't forget anything that has just popped in my mind.
    Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?
    Thanks

The reason I have an issue with this is that I'm always recording song ideas, melodies, and scratch takes; what I'm saying is when I come up with an idea I need to be able to know that when I hit record it will start right then so I don't forget anything that has just popped in my mind.
    Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?
    Thanks

  • Weblogic 10.3.2. application launch delayed by approximately 60 seconds

    Hi,
    The application was developed using Flex 2, java, hibernate and spring framework(ver. 2.0.3). It works fine in the oracle Application server oc4j based container.
    When deployed this application in weblogic 10.3.2, after entering the username and password, the first page is delayed by approximately 60/70 seconds. The full log file shows this time is consumed by HttpSessionContextIntegrationFilter. As you can see below in the log, the processing for this class stats at 10:46:23 and then it moves on to the next processing at 10:47:26. Please let me know, how I could resolve/troubleshoot this issue.
    [Mar 24 10:46:23] DEBUG (FilterChainProxy.java) - /efc-flex/efc.swf reached end of additional filter chain; proceeding with original chain
    [Mar 24 10:46:23] DEBUG (ExceptionTranslationFilter.java) - Chain processed normally
    [Mar 24 10:46:23] DEBUG (HttpSessionContextIntegrationFilter.java) - SecurityContextHolder now cleared, as request processing completed
    [Mar 24 10:47:26] DEBUG (FilterChainProxy.java) - Converted URL to lowercase, from: '/efc-flex/j_spring_security_logout'; to: '/efc-flex/j_spring_security_logout'
    [Mar 24 10:47:26] DEBUG (FilterChainProxy.java) - Candidate is: '/efc-flex/j_spring_security_logout'; pattern is /**; matched=true
    Thanks
    Murugan.
