G5 desktop running 10.5.1 keep getting a message to update but will not install downloaded update
this power mac will not update from a downloaded software just hangs at about 10 per cent
Backup your data at least twice to two separate media:

Shut down and remove that media.
Download and install 10.5.8 combo from here:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_8_Combo_Update
Repair permissions from Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility -> First Aid, and selecting the hard drive.
You should now be able to use Software Update for any updates that work with 10.5.8 PowerPC. Any that only work with Intel macs, you'll need a newer Mac.

I have lost my itunes library after updating it. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and it gets so far then tells me that it cannot be installed because MSVCR80.dll is not installed on my pc. I have no idea what this is and have googled it, followed links to sites that say they can fix it, only for them to scan, tell me I have 3 thousand issues and then want me to pay $30 dollars to fix it for me. When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.

What does error message R6034 mean in regard to iTunes install?

I have a very similar problem. I am running a new install of Windows 8.1. When I install iTunes 64 bit I receive 2 similar pop-up error windows containing the following (note error code and error text differ "iTunes Helper" vs. "iTunes"):

I've followed the instructions given in this post:

double click AppleApplicationSupport.msi
When I run AppleApplicationSupport.msi, I receive the following error:

How can I get my ES2 loops to play correctly? I keep getting the message that the audio is not found when I drag the loops from my audio browser even though they play fine in the preview.
It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?

iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.

You haven't opened an account with that Apple ID in iTunes. Open iTunes and log in. A dialog will appear in which you need to enter your Apple ID and/or password. Below it you should see a link for creating a new account. Click on that link to get started.

- What cable re you using? Digitasl, VGA, composit, componet and who made it?

It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.
