G5 dual 2.7 just randomly died...help!!!
I bought a G5 dual 2.7 directly from Apple less than a month ago. The only hardware changes I have made to it are to add 2 GB of additional RAM which I also purchased from Apple at the same time. I have used it since the middle of March for video editing and such, and it worked perfectly.
Until last night. Duh, duh, duh!!!! (cue dramatic music)
I walked into my room and found it basically frozen, and making a clicking sound, about every 5 seconds or so. The only way I could power it down was by pulling the plug. When I rebooted about a minute later, it continued making the same clicking sound, but would never get past a grey screen. It still makes the boot-up sound, but never gets past the grey screen with nothing on it.
Anyway, the clicking sound seems to be coming from the back and at the very top of the back part of the computer. I have no idea what's going on.
This is weird as well- the keyboard receives no power, (the CAPS light won't turn on, except for about half a second, then no power after that) but the apple mouse that is plugged into the keyboard does receive power. (The red laser light still lights up)
Well, like I said, I don't know much about what's going on with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Clicking and not fully booting could indicate your Boot Hard Drive is severely damaged.
(Your Hard Drives are at the back near the top)
Does the machine boot from your Tiger install DVD?

When troubleshooting power issues, we want to make sure we have followed all steps outlined in the following article:

- Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
- Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion.
Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
- Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
- After at least 15 minutes, if:
- The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
- The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
- Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
- If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
- If the display turns on, go to step 4.
- If the display remains black, go to next step.
- Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to

My iphone 6 just randomly died
I was using my new iphone (brand new - 2 days old, no damage whatsoever) - I was using it as a wifi hotspot for my computer when the internet suddenly stopped working - so I went to look on my phone - it had 57% battery left. So I clicked on the settings button wanting to look at the wifi - but that brought me to a blank grey screen. So I click the home button - which returned home - then I again clicked settings and the phone faded to black. Now none of the buttons work. It does vibrate when I toggle the hold button but that is it. When I plug it into my computer I got a message that said that itunes cannot connect to the device... I tried unplugging and replugging and now literally nothing happens. HELP!
Try resetting:
Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost. -

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...

Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Just sits there occupying very little space & never interfering, unless you need to invoke it in Single User Mode.

What do you mean "Leave them my laptop again"? do you mean you have had it worked on before? for the same problem or a different one?
You need to take it in to Apple ASAP. No matter how long they have it, you want it fixed and fixed correctly.

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You should delete some content on your phone, and then create a backup. Delete a couple of apps, your pictures, text messages, etc. Then create an iTunes backup and restore the device as new. This will update your device as well as resolve any software issues. Then restore from your backup.

My iPhone 5s has stopped playing music out of the speakers. It works when I plug in my headphones but other than that there's no sound. It just randomly happened so I'm not sure if I can fix it or if I need to bring my phone in. Help?

If you are sure that the battery didn't die on you and that the battery has some power left in it, reboot the iPad and see if it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

First off, it would help to know what you're talking about. What turned white? The iPod? The iPad?? A Mac??? Which kind of Mac???? What were you doing, and what have you done since? You really don't give us much to work with.
