hello im buying this computer here are the specs is it a good one to learn video editing ie avid finalcut also going to use as a browsing and broadcasting an internet show webcams and mics please any help would be appreciated

My itunes wont let me open movies helppp
i cant put movies or anything into itunes, i have tried everything i need to be able to put movies into itunes for my ipod video.... i press ctrl - o and open a video file but nothing happens... i tried dragging videos into video playlists but nothing happens it acts like i didnt do anything.... helppp plzzz
i tried that and still nothing, i cant get any movie file into itunes. when i drag and drop nothing happens, i am in the right settings and everything i tried putting movies into a playlist didnt work into the video category still didnt work. ctrl + o doesnt work.

You are probably running OS 10.4 or 10.5 on a PPC Mac. No version of iTunes higher than 10.6.3 is available for these older Macs. I have the same problem, and while I can still use the PPC to sync my iPod, it can't be used to sync an iPhone 4 or higher. The only solution, as I discovered after upgrading to the iPhone 4, is to buy a newer Mac. I was able to get a 2006 MacBook running Lion for under $300, and that has been a lifesaver.

Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.

Restore your device while connected to a different network.

i unplugged my iphone 3gs ios 5.1.1 and started playing..i played for about 2 hours,BUT the battery didnt change!!!...after about 4 hours,the phone suddenly shuts down...i recalebrated the battery (by hard reset)..but didnt help...so HELPPP PLZZZ!!!!!!!..+ when i charge my iphone, i dont see the lightning bolt,instead, i see a plug icon...i know this means th@ battery is full, but my battery is no where near full!!!!!
Just a quick update with a couple more details before I go to work:
I left my phone plugged into the wall charger all night long but the Apple logo is still blinking on and off. However, when unplugged from the charger, the screen goes blank and the unit does not respond to pressing/holding the buttons at all. Likewise, flipping the mute switch does not cause the phone to vibrate as it normally would, which made me wonder if power was being disrupted somewhere else in the unit before the battery. I just finished disassembling the unit down to the battery, looked for any loose connections etc., and did spot a suspicious looking spot on top of the #5 ribbon connector that I had not taken notice of before in my first disassembly. I'll take a picture of it and post a link for your consideration later on today when I have a spare moment, although I fear the worst. -
I just bought this new laptop which has windows 8.1 installed. Was trying out the functions of the laptop and I realise that I can't open up any of the apps. All of them have error written under them and when I try to click into it, a message pops up which

Sounds like a permission issue, some application would need administrator to launch. You need check if you have privileged rights in system.
Open user account management to see if you are one of administrators:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts
Also, if you are trying to open Windows Store Apps, some of them need Microsoft Account to launch, so please give us more information about your situation, then we can locate where is the culprit.

Helppp!!!! crazy wireless mouse!
Hiii ok so i have a wireless mouse and I turned it on today and all of a sudden the cursor starts to twitch and drift to the right upper corner of the computer screen and it doesnt move just twitch in the corner and then i try and use the mousepad on the computer and it fights with the mouse to move and the wireless mouse just drifts it back to the corner. I dont know what to do! if anyone has any advice or knows what to do please helppp me! thank youu!

you need to provide more information. What kind of mouse/mac/OS version are you using? Have the batteries run out of charge? Did you repair permissions or update bluetooth? -

i had the same issue, heres what i did and it resolved my problem...
Make sure iTunes and app store both are closed...
Open Finder > Navigate to the side panel, look for Macbook Pro or Air under devices tag (e.g. John's MacBook Pro)
Then go to Macintosh HD > Applications > Right click ''iTunes'' and click Get Info
Then scroll down to ''Sharing and permissions'' and make sure to make urself able to "read & write"
Then right click "iTunes" and click "Move it to Trash" and empty your trash...
Finally go to www.apple.com > Download new iTunes > Once installation finishes, open AppStore and navigate to "Updates"
and viola..... the badge is gone!!!!

I have a solution to all of you who faced this problem of waiting for activations for both FaceTime and iMessage.
Here's how I did mine;
For "FaceTime"
1) Launch "Settings" app
2) Select "FaceTime"
3) Select "Apple ID: (your ID)"
4) Select "Change Location" (to where "Country" your phone number is registered)
5) Select the "Country" you are in
6) Back to "Settings"
Do the same for "iMessage"
1) Launch "Settings" app
2) Select "Messages"
3) Select "Receive At"
4) Select "Apple ID: (your ID)"
5) Select "Change Location" (to where "Country" your phone number is registered)
6) Select the "Country" you are in
7) Exit
After you've done all the settings as aboves; Now hold down the "Home" and "Power" button until you see the "Apple" logo to reboot your iPhone. Let go you fingers after seeing the "Apple" logo appears.
Go back to the "Settings" app.
For "Facetime"
1) Select "FaceTime"
2) You'll notice your "FaceTime" has been activated
3) Go to the bottom and Select "Caller ID"
4) You should have your "Phone Number" selected
5) Back to "Settings"
For "iMessage"
1) Select "Messages"
2) You'll notice your "iMessage" has been activated
3) Select "Receive At" (now you'll see "2 Addresses >)
4) Go to the bottom and Select "Caller ID"
5) You should have your "Phone Number" selected
6) Exit and enjoy your iOS5

If the unit has NEVER been jailbroke, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless... Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -

the first thing i check for with one of those is a broken quicktime. does your quicktime currently launch?

Hi, i recently restarted my ipod by mistake and everything got deleted however i had alreaedy saved all the pics before this. problem is that all my voice memos r gone and i never made a backup file earlier. what do i do???????????i need 2 recover themm?
If they are not in a backup of the iPod then they are gone.

We had a problem with iMessage. We're both using iPod touch with iOS5 version.
but we can't send messages. It says our emails/apple ids are not registered on iMessage.
