G505s: Hot keyboard when playing MMORPGs

Question

Seems like everytime that I play a graphics intensive game, the Lenovo G505s has a keyboard that gets hot, making it hard to play. I have the latest bios update, but is there anything else I should be doing?

It's possible that the PC is squeezing the APU to render the MMORPG that your playing. Try checking the CPU/GPU temps (i.e. using HWmonitor or similar app) to see if it's overheating.
If you get values around 85-95°C or 185 - 203°F then you may want to check if the vents are blowing hot air (this ensures that the fans are working properly).
You may also want to consider the following::
1. Get a better cooling in the room
2. Elevate the laptop (preferably in a 30° on the battery area to get a better air circulation)
3. Get a laptop cooling pad or a dedicated fan to cool down the laptop
4. Replace the stock Thermal Interface Material with a good quality TIM (i.e. Noctua NT-H1, Tuniq TX-4, or Artic Silver 5)
