G570 AMD (Muxless) Driver Update

Hello, I have a Lenovo G570 with 6370M,Intel HD 3000 and Windows 8.1 64bit, I'm trying to update the drivers for the AMD card. i need newly updated Muxless switchable drivers for AMD card. in the lenovo website, there are old drivers i can not find new drivers plz help me to find new updated drivers. thank you

Please consider installing AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver v12.10 or v12.11beta for Windows Vista/7/8 64bit. I installed v12.10 on my HP TS without issue

Audigy 2 ZS, Driver update results in broken driver, no sound.

I lose all my EAX effects and can't select any speakers. The only way to solve that is to uninstall everything and do a clean start with the CD.
I can update everything via the auto updater, except the drivers.

With XP I'm still using 2.8.000, they seem to work fine

HP 6770m Driver Update Help

Hello, I am the owner of a dv6-6173cl laptop. This laptop has an i7 processor along with a 6770m Radeon graphics card that is set up in switchable graphics. Unfortunately, I cannot download drivers from the AMD website due to HP messing with the graphics card. I looked on the support section for my laptop and found drivers that are also very out of date. My card is currently running drivers that were published on 3/15/11. I need new drivers to keep up with current games and programs because that is what this machine was bought for. I've tried to download drivers from the AMD site and they will not work. I've tried downloading the SP55092 file I saw on a related post and that also did not change my drivers. However when I manual update the drivers through the device manager it says my drivers are up to date. Also when I try to access CCC it says that I don't currently have any AMD drivers running. I am unsure is this is due to outdated drivers or switchable graphics playing tricks on me. Any help would be appreciated.

I have read your post on how there is an issue with your AMD graphics driver on your notebook, and I would be happy to assist you!
The first step I recommend is to uninstall your AMD driver from Programs and Features. Once removed, you will need to delete the driver from the Device Manager. To do this, please follow this resource on Using Device Manager to Uninstall Devices and Driver Packages.
The next step will be to restart your computer, and download the sp55092 softpaq for Windows 7, or the sp59850 for Windows 8. This should help update to the most current driver available for your system.

Satellite C855-1JD Amd Radeon Driver

Good morning,
When I turned on my computer this morning I received this message:
"The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the driver version of you enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager"
My display adapter is an AMD Radeon HD 7610M

Try to uninstall the ATI graphic card driver which is preinstalled on your unit.
Then visit the Toshiba EU driver page and download the latest available ATI/AMD GPU driver.
After the installation has finished, reboot the notebook and check the functionality.

But it would likely require you purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade. But you can update to 10.7.5 for free to see what you get.

HP Pavilion g6-1301tx Notebook PC/ Not able to install AMD graphic driver.

My HP Pavilion g6-1301tx Notebook PC 4gb RAM is 2 years old,My original OS was Windows 7 Home basic 64 bits then i changed it to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.

In device manager under display adapter there are two GPUs i.e. Intel Hd graphics 3000 its alright and Standard VGA graphic adapter which contains error (this Device cannot start code 10). I tried to update the driver in device manager itself but it tells ( Windows found the driver for the device but unable to install), I even tried windows update there it shows the driver update but whent i try to install it shows error Code 80070002.
Because of this im unable to play games and watch hd videos in my laptop.
Please some one help me to solve this problem.

The only graphics driver you should install for your model is the AMD graphics driver which will install both the AMD and Intel GPU's.
If you installed the Intel graphics driver from your PC's support and driver page, that could be preventing the correct AMD driver from installing.

Cant Install the latest 2 Driver Updates for Audig

I cant install the latest drivers:
.Creative Sound Blaster Audigy unified series Beta driver with OpenAL support 2.08.0002
2.Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 and Audigy2 ZS Driver Update .84.55
Setup is giving me error: "Setup Couldn't detect any Sound Blaster Audigy 2 on your system"
all other drivers previously to that are installed. (also installed EAX4 web update).

AMD Graphics? Updating [AMD vs Mobility]

Is it safe to use the official AMD video driver to update my graphics card, or should I be using the Mobility driver? Please explain the advantage/disadvantages. Thanks.

Radeon HD 6970M driver update issue

I just got Battle Field 3 and it said i needed driver updates to my graphics card in order to play. So I went and tried to update like a fool without looking to see how on bootcamp. I updated to the latest driver and now my display resolution is limited to 1600x1200. It wont give me the option to go up to the native resolution of 2560x1440. I know I probably did a lot wrong, but is there anyway to fix this?

I tried using the update to 9.2 (12.1 Catalyst) update technique, the one when graphic card shows as 6700M, but the drivers still froze my comp and had to manualy restart the laptop (this happens only when in fixed mode, otherwise while in dynamic mode it says the driver stoped responding but recovered and/or it just switches to the working graphic card).
Dont know why, but I am having a lot of issues with AMD drivers lattely and cant seem to get a stable driver setup, even when using the older offical version (in the link above). Acctualy this is also the reason why I would like to update my drivers, since stability was the only reason I was using obsolete drivers in the first place.
Is there any way to update drivers to the latest version, or close to the latest version, that works for all those hybrid HP laptops?
If any more info is needed please let me know...

Cannot adjust brightness after display driver update on Satellite L855-118

Hi.
I just bought an SATELLITE L855-118 , with ATI graphics today, it was between this and another one, but i know you have problems updating graphic drivers on a Sony-notebooks.
I made a restore point.
So i uninstalled the ATI catalyst and then did an driver sweeper, and re-booted and then installed catalyst 12.6 , installed fine, but my screen went to maximum brightness and i cannot adjust it, the brighness osd appears but the screen brightness does not change.
So i used my restore point.
This time i overwrote the stock catalyst 8.9 with 12.6, just the same cannot adjust the brightness.
Does anybody know how to fix this.

This is not going to help you, but I have details on the internals of brightness control on this machine.
On other notebooks I've worked with, the hotkeys generated an event that was directly handled by the firmware (ACPI) that changed the brightness; this was done to avoid putting into the AMD video driver any system-dependent code.
On the L855 the ACPI does not really handle the notification, it just generates another event that is supposed to be handled by the video driver. For more technical details see:

Now this is where it gets ugly: if brightness control is indeed system-dependent (e.g. you have to poke some random GPIO) then the AMD driver will never support it (it would have to know the details of each and every model in circulation).
The good news - at least for Linux users - is that AMD just published the specification of its ACPI interface:

I've already done some experiments with it, keep an eye on the thread.
This may (or may not...) lead to a usable brightness control *for Linux*, but the same information *may* be used to create a similar driver for Windows.

Satellite L500D PSLT9E - Win 8 graphic card driver update question - OpenGL

I upgraded to windows 8 pro 64bit I'm wondering if Toshiba will update there drivers to windows 8 well all drivers are running fine apart from graphic drivers there is no win 8 driver.
Apart from the windows update it can play games but doesn't like OpenGL.. I emailed AMD about this but no reply. The graphic board is ATI Mobility HD 4500

there is no AMD graphic driver for 4000 series. only 5000+ series. Im just tryin to find out if Toshiba will be releasing a driver update for there L500D laptops. or any older laptop/pc from Toshiba. AMD emailed me back saying to go back to the manufacture for the driver updates.. I don't understand why there so late on this

'No AMD graphics driver is installed..'

Hi, I've recently been receiving this message 'No amd graphics driver installed or is not functioning properly. Please install the amd driver appropiate for your amd software' on my pavilion dv6 and I'm not sure why? When I look in the Device Manager under Display adapters there are 2 graphics cards showing - AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series (which has the following device status 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)' which I assume is where the problem lies and the other one is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series which has the device status 'No drivers are installed for this device.' I have tried disabling each one and looking for updates but nothing seems to work. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 but the issue was there before the upgrade. Any help would be much appreciated!

Then you should not do it by yourself, find a friend who knows what the BIOS is and how to reset it to its default settings and request him/her to help you

W510 Driver Update

After running a driver update checker, I noticed that my Intel drivers seem to be quite old. So before I go downloading every single one, I'm wondering why the Lenovo Software Updater hasn't automatically updated these? Is there something I'm missing here?

Silicon manufacturers (AMD, Intel, nVidia, Qualcomm, Realtek, etc.) often package driver updates cumulatively, where drivers for several generations of older hardware are bundled into the current package, even though they themselves have not been updated.
You can always go to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and download the drivers manually from there.

Satellite L750D-15E AMD Display driver

Hey :)
I have the Satellite L750D-15E laptop (amd a6-3400m quad core APU with Radeon HD 6520G) with win7 64bit.
The latest update for AMD display driver for my comupter is from 2012:

There are a lot more updated drivers and there are a lot of new video games that require updated drivers.
Is there a way to get more updated drivers?
When I try to use the AMD driver auto detect (When trying to download the driver that was detected) it shows me an error that the version of my graphics adapter isn't supported.
I also updated the bios to version 2.10 to see if maybe that solves the problem but it didn't.
my Video BIOS Date is 05/10/11.

Display driver for mobile units is pretty limited and notebook manufacturers don't offer some updates very often. Problem is that hardware performance, especially graphic card performance, must be under control and it is controlled by display driver.
With new driver graphic card will offer more performance but with more performance GPU will produce much more heat and it can be very dangerous for al mobile machines.
Cooling system for notebooks is optimized for certain hardware platform and if hardware cannot be cooled down properly result can be either overheating or hardware damage. Thats the reason why you cannot install these non supported drivers. Toshiba don't want to be responsible if you use some third part driver and later come to service with damaged graphic card.
I know it is a bit annoying and everyone of us want to have good machine with high performance but thats the problem with notebooks in general.
To be honest these L models with AMD platform are good notebooks but not some gaming machines so I don't think you can do much about that.
Of course BIOS update has nothing to do with all this.

Nvidia driver updates to OS X - How often?

How often are GPU driver updates to OS X released by Apple? I am operating under the assumption that minimally each new major release of OS X would include the latest GPU drivers available from Nvidia or AMD as the case may be. So, in going from Mavericks to Yosemite I would expect a newer Nvidia driver than whatever was in Mavericks. Am I correct about that?
I note we just got a driver bug fix via software update for 10.10.3. Considering the gravity of the bug it fixes, I am thinking the bug was introduced in a relatively recent driver update.
Information about this stuff is not particularly easy to find despite time spent with Google and even in talking with Nvidia second tier support. Their claim is that they do send all driver updates to Apple as they release them but they also reminded me that Apple's process of approval and the time it takes comes into play which they could not comment on beyond that.

Any Mac that can run Mavericks can run Yosemite. If you install it your hard drive and the recovery drive will be updated.
Wait for it to come out, backup your Mac and try for yourself.
