G580 wont connect to wifi signal booster
I own a Lenovo G580, which works wonderfully. However, my laptop will not connect to a wifi signal booster, it must be in direct access to the modem itself. For example, when at school I share wifi with an apartment above me, they have the modem router and I have the signal booster. Now, my roommates computers will connect via the signal booster, and so will my phone, but my laptop will only connect if I go up to the apartment with the modem. It also will not connect to the wifi signal booster at my school, which it used to do but now will not. Is there any suggestions? I've thought about completely restoring my laptop to it's original settings because at one point in time it would connect to signal boosters, thoughts?
Hi RuthKing95,
Welcome to Lenovo Community!
Have you checked with updating the Wifi driver and the Energy Management application for your system?
Is the Wifi adapter able to see the Wifi signal booster?
Is the Wifi adapter enabled from function keys?
Hope this helps!!!
Do post us back if the issue still persists.
Best regards,
Hemanth Kumar

TS1398 my iphone 4s wont connect to wifi its like unable to turn it on
My iphone wont connect to wifi is like unable to turn it on
Hello geordiebell,
It sounds like your phone is not connecting to your Wi-Fi network. You can use the troubleshooting from the following article to help get that issue resolved:
iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
Follow these steps to troubleshoot the above issues:
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
Unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network
Verify that you're attempting to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Make sure you're entering your Wi-Fi password correctly. Passwords may be case sensitive and may contain numbers or special characters.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

My new LG Optimus Exceed 2 wont connect to wifi.
I know I have a wifi signal...The phone says I have a signal....But It wont connect! HELP!!!! I just got this phone three days ago. I cant use my google play or browse the web. It just loads and loads and loads.
It's imperative your device is running in prime condition, pferris. Is Wi-Fi currently on? Does this occur with multiple networks?
