G62 blank Screen and Frozen Screen

I don't know a lot about this stuff so I shall say what I see.
My HP G62 laptop will not start up, it just has the power light on and caps lock button flashing.
I have followed other steps I have read online, started it up with the power cable and not the battery. I get past putting my password in and then my screen loads up as normal but my mouse and keyboard are totally unresponsive. The only way I can turn my computer off is to hold down the power button.

I see that your HP G62 notebook will not start up, that it will produce a blinking light on the Caps Lock button, and I would be happy to help you!

TS1906 Ical frozen - blank screen, no data and unresponsive buttons

After installing the last update, Ical is frozen - its shows no calender data, and the buttons for day/week/month don't work. I restored the calender data from my last time machine backup, after which it worked for the first time I opened ical. The next time I opened it, I was back to square one - no data, and unresponsive buttons (also not able to change the view over the top bar menu) and then I even got a blank screen (where the calender data should be).
Luckily my data still shows on my iphone and on my google calender. Its only on my Mac (version IOS 10.6.8) that Ical (version 4.0.4 (1395.7)) isn't working. I believe this is a bug of the actual Ical software, rather than my data.
Anyone have similar experiences, or an idea of how to fix this? Thanks.

I had the same problem with my Radeon Mobility U1.
The solution is to downgrade the xf86-video-ati driver to the version 6.7.195-3 and it should work flawlessly.
Make sure pacman and/or yaourt don't upgrade this driver inadvertently to this latest, buggy version, until a fix is released.

Could the disk have failed?
Can you hear it?
Boot from the install DVD and see what Disk Utility says.

HT4061 Iplugged in, and later a blank screen--and will not start.

I tried to charge IPAD, later only a blank screen.

Are you using the wall charger? If totally discharged, it won't give an indication of charging for about 20-30 minutes.

What iMac is it and what version of OS X are you running?

If that doesn't help, try a Safe Boot: restart holding down the Shift key until you see a grey progress bar - you'll need to input your admin password during boot-up - and once booted, restart as normal from the Apple menu.

My new I pad air has a problem - it froze during a face time call and now it reboots and turns dark grey - Siri says 'connect to Internet' but blank screen so can't - help !

Bootup Blank Screen - caps lock light and wireless light only keep blinking

Hi
My HP compaq 420 was frozen, last night I forgot to shut down then when I press power button no display, fan keeps working and Caps lock light is kept blinking
I tried to remove battery and pressed power button for 60 sec but no response and I checked my RAM as well it perfectly alright.
Please help me.

Tried installing Windows Vista, cancelled install and now it won't boot from the OEM Vista DVD, all i get is BOOTMGR is missing error... Ctrl Alt Del to restart and when i turn the computer on i get a blank screen and pressing C is not working to boot....

My friend started a installation of Windows Vista, but pulled out after deleting all partitions...
So now i power it on, get a blank screen (seems a bit gray because of backlighting, should show the apple logo right?)...
Then after like 15-20sec it will throw out a:
BOOTMGR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
I have a OEM Windows Vista DVD in the drive, and i know... Windows 7 is better... but i'm not that fond of stealing software from Microsoft and i have 10 licenses for Vista...
I have tried pressing C while booting up but it doesn't work...
Does anyone here have a magic soloution for me, and no i will not install MacOS on it !!!

Deleting Boot Camp partitions the conventional way will not work . You must use the Boot Camp Assistant to remove a Boot Camp partition. Here is a link to the guide.

The way to restart is to hold down the option/alt key during startup* and then selecting the Mac OS. If you have a valid Boot Camp install of Windows it would show up during this type of start up.
* hold down immediately after pressing the power button and until the OS choice screen appears.
To summarize.
1 Use the above method to boot into Mac OS.
2 Download the instructions and read them.
3 Use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition.
4 Pick your friends more carefully.

I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.

You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

My Iphone 5s blank screen and can hear voice command when i press the home button

Try one of these 4Rs toubleshooting steps:
Restart:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.

Dear Jean:
It sounds like you are trying to get your external monitor to act as the primary viewing screen. For example it would have your Doc, Icons, Etc. In order to make the external monitor the primary screen you have to:
Open System Preferences.
Choose the Displays Icon
There will be several tabs to choose from pick Arrangement
Drag the toolbar to desired display

If there is no loading bar, it's usually a problem with a third party kext file in OS X itself.
You can press the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, then reboot holding the shift key down on a wired or built in keyboard, this will disable them and you go around and update your third party software.
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
Also take this time to backup your users files off the machine if possible.
