G62 wont turn on after removing battery whilst in use

okay so i reinstalled windows, and needed some drivers, the model number is under the battery, i pulled the battery out(whilst it was on) and then noticed a few mins later the screen was black, switched it off and on and still the same the power light is solid, the wlan light is solid orange and the chargeing light is on, no beeps nothing else. iv tried the various hold the power button down fixes and nothing, have checked both ram modules and they seem fine, anything else i can try? or is it possible i blew something? iv often done this on my dv6 and it never done any harm?

edit: also when i have the battery in i get a solid cap lock light along with the rest, i dont get anything on screen or external screen, but can hear the machine running, fan starts off loud for a few seconds, then quietens down but can still hear it running very quietly

  • Curve 8520 Won't turn on after removing battery.

Hello, I've recently purchased a 8520, I've not had it for long but already it isn't working.
I removed the battery the other day andante it back in, from this point... It will not turn on, when I charge it, it just shows as 'Charging'.
Please help, It wont turn on, I've tried everything... Oh but also if I place someone else battery in, it works...
I noticed some kind of 'Jump start' but never understood it.
    Thanks greatly ;D

    Try this:
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the charging cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage). If it doesn't reboot on the first attempt, leave it several more hours. I've had one charge for two days before it came back to life after an extreme battery depletion. Every 3-4 hours, with the device still connected to the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it reboots.

  • My ipod touch fifth generation wont turn on after the battery died and my home button is broken

i fell asleep with my ipod touch fifth generation on and when i woke up the battery had died but i tried turning it on and connecting it to the computer but nothings working

    Hi stephkayy223,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your iPod touch battery has been completely consumed, you may need to connect it to power for several minutes before you will see the charging screen:
If you see this screen, it means your battery is really low. Plug in your device and let it charge for at least 10 minutes before using it. After that, you can use your device while it continues to charge.
If your device has turned off, you might see a black screen for a few minutes even after you plug it in. Let it charge until it turns on, or until it's fully charged.

Charge your iPhone and iPod touch

  • Mac Book Pro wont turn on after 3 wks on no use

I last used my mac about 3 wks ago and did not shut down, just closed it with applications still open. The battery run out obviously and when I tried it this morning after connecting the power cable, it came on with all the applications open, but not responding. So I force quit all the different applications one by one, and then shut down. But when I started it up again, it would not open up - was very slow to open up my sign on page and respond to my password. So I shut down again and now I cant get past the apple log and the spinning gear, even in safe boot.
    Please help.

When you press on the external battery level button, what happens?

Help! My iPhone 5 wont turn on after battery died. iPhone is not reponding to charger or anything I have tried... Hard reset is not in option beacuse iPhone is turned off.

Your only chance is letting it charge for about 10min, then connecting it in recovery mode, explained here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
If it does not charge at all, you'll have to get it serviced by Apple.

  • My iphone 6 wont turn on after i updated it and it doesn't work to restore it in itunes. what should i do?

my iphone 6 wont turn on after i updated it and it doesn't work to restore it in itunes. what should i do?

    Hello ole-gunnar,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If your iPhone is unresponsive after updating your iOS version, then I'd like you to please follow the troubleshooting below.
If you see a black screen
You might need to charge your device before it can turn on. Plug in your device and let it charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad), then try turning it on.
You should see a battery icon while your device is charging. If you continue to see a black screen, reset your device. If your device doesn't respond when you press buttons
Your device might not return to the Home screen when you press the Home button, wake from sleep when you press the Sleep/Wake button, slide to unlock or power off, or it might appear frozen. Try these steps:
    Restart your device.
If it still doesn't respond, or if it doesn't turn back on, reset your device.
If your device gets stuck during startup
When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

  • My Iphone 5 charger got burned during charging and phone wont turn on after it

Hi everyone. Last night My Iphone 5 charger got burned during charging and my iphone wont turn on after it...My Iphone was wery hot after it.  My  warranty expired on September and I can't go to Apple Store to resolve this problem. Pls advise... Thanks in advance.

No. Sorry. But when such a large voltage mismatch occurs, it will destroy your entire IPhones internal charging and regulating system! Not just your battery. Every mobile "smart" device running at 5 volts internally has its own built in charging circuitry. The charging circuitry is inside your phone. It is NOT in your wall charger. Think of your wall charger simply as a "power source". The iPhone has the charging circuits built inside of it. The wall charger is just a "dumb" power source. The iPhone dictates how much power to draw and when to draw it, from the wall charger.
Like you may have a 30 amp electric line. If you plug in a small light bulb it doesn't use the whole 30 amps right?
So somehow one of your voltage adapters "failed" thereby burning out the phones entire circuitry. It is dead. Its not just an issue of the battery. Right?

  • Satellite A55-S1065 - After removing battery, BIOS ask me for password

So, something happened yesterday, and it seems to me that this is very odd.
I have a laptop Satellite A55-S1065. And while i was using power point, the
computer freezes. So in the middle of my confusion, i decided to remove
the battery just to make it turn off.
So i did it and the plugged it again
and tried to turn on the computer. Now the bios ask me for a password,
but i have no clue what password is that. Can someone help me to fix this?
Im really desperate to find some solution to this since this computer contain
    a lot of my works.
    Thank you so much.

    > After removing battery, BIOS ask me for password
I know it sounds stupid now but I never heard about something like this. I use notebook for long time and I have made experience with many different and strange issue but something like this, never.
Problem is that we discuss here in public forum and BIOS password is very sensible area and very important security feature so we cannot write here about some illegal ways how you can delete BIOS password.
If there is no way to start your notebook I recommend you to contact nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
    Sorry. :(

  • 4s wont turn on after OS update 8.1.3.

4s wont turn on after OS 8.1.3 update. attempted restart several times with no success. fully charged battery & plugged I at time of update. iTunes doesn't recognize the device since it wont turn on so I cant even do a system restore. no problems previously.
    any suggestions? thanks in advance.

The message is correct. Once you see the iTunes logo and the USB cord your iPhone must be restored. It has already lost all data stored on it. You can recover your data from a recent backup if you have one. You can recover all purchased music and apps without the backup. When I updated our 2 iPhones, I backed each of them up to iTunes before updating just in case. I recommend that you do this before you do any future updates.

    Hello Kimbo1991,
It sounds like your phone is not successfully booting even though you have reset the device. I would next recommend attempting a backup and restore to iTunes with this article:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
If you are unable to restore with iTunes I would next put the device into recovery mode, and attempt the restore again:

Sounds like it's broken in a potentially major way after the drop. You really should take it to your nearest Apple Store/Apple Authorised Repair Centre a diagnosis and quote.

  • HT204204 my apple ipad wont turn on after i updating software

sir,my apple ipad (16gb) wont turn on after i updating software correctly.so still this off position and cant any work.please help me

You took a backup on your computer's iTunes prior to starting the backup, or you have a recent backup ? And you have all of the apps that you had on the iPad in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library - none of your iTunes downloads are included in a backup (that contains apps settings and contents), the restore will look to pick them up from your iTunes library.
To restore select the iPad on your computer's iTunes and either do File > Devices > Restore From Backup
Or on its Summary tab in iTunes click the 'Restore Backup' button
