i have spent over $200 on music from the app world then my phone broke so i got a different one , not a black berry and i would like to sign in to the app world to download the songs but it wont let me without a blackberry device connected to the computer is there a way around this? i need those songs

I would give apple a negative one-hundred out of five at this very moment. Ugh. Okay, so a while ago, I left my ipod in the possession of my friend while I was away, and she synced it to another itunes account. Let's call that account A. I got it back about four months ago, and synced it with a DIFFERENT account, erasing everything that was on it. Let's call that account B. Since then, I have made several music purchases that are currently on my ipod. Now, a couple weeks ago, my computer totally crashed and was unable to be repaired. We just got a new one and I re-installed itunes. Let's call that account C. I put a recording (mp3 file) in the new itunes (account C) and attempted to sync with my ipod so I would be able to listen to it. It then proceeded to tell my ipod cannot be synced to two accounts at once. Now, normally this wouldn't surprise me, but the name it listed that my ipod was CURRENTLY connected to was my FRIEND'S account (account A!!) What in the WORLD?? I got rid of that a long time ago! Not only that, but it will not let me keep my current purchases on my ipod- I have to erase them if I wanted to sync to account C. Oh heck no, I paid money for those! I mean, really? It will not let me put those files on itunes account C at all, nor will it let me transfer those files onto my computer so I can transfer them back to the ipod after I sync accounts. I understand it was probably set up this way to prevent illegal distribution, but didn't they consider people who's computers crash? Is there any way to keep my music without doing something illegal? I have googled solutions for this but they are all on outdated versions of itunes (so they will not work with mine) or the solution is illegal. I would much appreciate any solutions you guys have

Try the Songs option from the drop down list control near the top right. Use the same control to turn off Show Artwork if needed/desired.

I have 20 GB of music stored on my Macbook Air (2011) and only 7GB in my iTunes library? How can I delete the extra music without deleting any of my 7GB in my iTunes Library?

I have no idea how to go through my folders and delete all this extra music without deleting whatever the 7GB is in my iTunes!

If you use iTunes' default preferences settings, anything in your collection will be in your iTunes Media folder. When you add a track to iTunes it places a copy in the iTunes folder but leaves the original where you downloaded it. The exceptions are if you use the Automatically Add To iTunes folder it does move it, or you drag items to iTunes while holding down the option key in which case it uses the copy wherever it is.
As for where the other files are, you will have to look on your computer. Use Spotlight to search for .mp3 .mp4 or whatever file formats you have. If they aren't in the iTunes folder and iTunes lists them as being in the library then likely they are the original files which you can delete.
You will have to do some careful checking that whatever you delete is not the file actually used by iTunes. If you have a flash drive or another drive for temporary storage i would stick the extra files there and then if something breaks you can restore them

How can I manage my music without erasing all of my songs?

For reference I've had iPods since about 2005 and I've been through this many times. My harddrive in my computer recently crashed and I had to replace it. Now all of my songs are gone (other than the ones I got on iTunes obviously). About half of my music (near 500 songs) are off of old CD's that I have since thrown away since I figured I had them saved on my iPhone and my laptop. Reference again: I had this happen when I had an iPod touch also with another computer. With my iPod touch, I was free to manage my music manually without erasing all my songs that were on my iPod. Now why can't I seem to do this now with my iPhone. Please help! I can't loose 500 songs! That's $500 that I DON'T HAVE to spend on music that I've already bought! P.S. I just need to know how to manually manage my music without erasing all my music!

The issue with the A1400 is that like most economy compact cameras, they will not have very fast focus times in indoor lighting situations. Many people have gone to entry level DSLR's (Canon T3i) or micro 4/3 cameras. They are fairly expensive, but a late model refurbished T3i can sometimes be found with a kit lens for about $300.00. With Auto and scene modes, as well as full manual modes, these are very versatile cameras that focus very quickly, even in lower lighting situations. Canon is not really into the micro 4/3 cameras, instead they are focusing on the new G7x and G1x cameras, which are way out of your price range. The A720 is still available used at some places such as KEH camera, but you'll need to check often as their stock changes constantly. Obviously the DSLR's don't use AA batteries, but the T3i is good for about 600 photos (or more) per charge.
My refurbished DSLR was practically brand new condition when I got it. I could not find any sign of wear at all, so I feel they are a real bargain. These are rugged cameras that are made to last. The A1400 is a $99.00 camera, so it's not intended for heavy usage, plus the image quality of a DSLR (even entry level) is far better than the A1400. That would be my recommendation.

Import music without interrupting music playing?

I would like to be able to import music without it automatically playing. I have hundreds of cds I'd like to upload. but without interruption. I heard that maybe there is no way in itunes 8.0+, nut I also read something about manually changing preferances from the terminal? Doing so on a 3G iPhone "can" take several hours. So, plug your phone into a wall outlet, then Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. When finished, your phone should look just like it did when first taken out of the box, with nothing but the OS on it. Conversely, you can connect it to iTunes & restore it as a "New" device. Just don't sync after you restore as new.

Will I be able to access my music without internet connection if all my music on my iPhone is coming from iCloud?
