Galaxy Nexus: No 4G signal After Update to Android 4.02

I purchased a Galaxy Nexus today, connected to 4G, downloaded ap's and used the phone on 4G for approximately an hour today with no issues. I was then altered to an update for Android 4.02.
After completing the update, I am no longer able to get 4G in most places. When I can get 4G, it is very weak.
For comparison, in the same spot, a Rezound will get 4 bars of 4G and the Galaxy Nexus will not connect to 4G (just 3G). I have confirmed this behavior on both of the Galaxy Nexus' purchased by our company.
Has anyone else seen this behavior with the 4.02 update? I have tried rebooting the phone as well as a hard reset, no luck. An hour on the phone with a Verizon 4G specialist with no luck.

As others I am in the same boat. Picked up the Nexus after I got off work yesterday. Original downloads were quick as the phone was synching and installing my apps and gmail account. Once that was done the rep installed the extended battery and booted the phone and then from what I can tell, installed the update since while I was leaving the store (corporate store) it rebooted. I did not pay much attention as I was headed to another job. Got there and was on wifi and then wifi when I got home. Came to work today and was looking at my connection, which has been great before on my Bionic for both 3G and 4G and have a very weak 3g running at 117-120 dBm and no 4G at all. I will be going into town for a Dr's appt adn will see how it is there (still a stong 4G area). More than likely will be going back to the VZW corp store and see what they have to say.

Did the OTA update when prompted. Now getting the "Unfortunately Gallery has stopped" error message (flashes quickly).
Gallery will open for viewing photos bu the camera app not functional at all.

Lenovo VIBE Z2 Pro problems with hearing and camera after updating to android Lolipop

Hello All,
After updating to Android Lolipop three days ago, on my phone occured some problems.
1. The hearing while calling/receiving a call is very low, when the volume is on max. It was extremly high on max volume before the update.
2. Now when I'm using the camera most of the pictures are captured with low quality and not well focused. Around one out of four pictures comes out with good quality and well focused. But I reviewed the settings and tried do switch them all the ways around but the problem still occurs.
Any help will be appreciated! Hopefully the next update will fix these issues.

The Chinese K920 version is meant to be sold and used only in China with a certain local carrier/provider(That's why it's got the ''China Mobile'' logo on the back).The main difference between the Chinese and the international K920 version is the GSM receiver(hardware difference)....
.....It seams there is a partial workaround(To make the Chinese version more ''internationally 3G/4G friendly'') but my experience with the Chinese K920 is limited and in this case it would be better to ask the actual users->

LOST Default Alert/Ringing/Alarm Tones in Z3 Compact after update in Android 5.1.1
I discovered it when I tried to change my Alert Tone, I can no longer find the list of available Alert Tones. When I click on Settings --> Sound & notification --> Notification Sound --> File Commander app --> Music
The Xperia Tones are not there only the App Tones and other sound/music.
I tried changing my Notification Sound in Safe Mode (Hold power off then reboot to safe mode) still the default sounds are not there (I did this to disable installed apps that might be the reason why I cannot see it)
Anyway, this is not a critical issue I just want to know if I'm the only one experience thia after the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update. I also want Xperia Team to notice/check this issue.

Tones may have changed from what you were use to in previous versions (Just checked and they are different) However if you prefer the old ones then XDA has them here (Click on the Blue Download now not the Orange Download bar)

No network/signal after update to 4.4.4

Hi guys, I updated my Xperia z3 to 4.4.4, straight after the update my phone wouldn't connect to the network. It flickers onto signal for pretty much a millisecond everyone and then, but that's all I get. Doesn't even stay on long enough to 'search for a network' in the settings. All I get is zero bars with a red cross and 'no service'
The sim card had never been removed prior to the issue starting and was the original one that came from virginity mobile Australia - nano sim.
i have tried;
-airplane mode on/off
-restart
-reset
-re-install update via PC companion
-add new APN as per my providers specs (3g and 4g APN)
same thing happens.
my sim card works 100% in other phones perfectly, so im having to use my old galaxy s4 as a temporary solution until i sort this out.
is there any way of reinstalling older versions of the software? or has my phone managed to fry itself after the update due to software and needs to be sent back to be repaired?
I'll be calling Sony up on Monday to see about repair, as it was only purchased in November, and there is no option for online repair booking in australia, but if anyone has any other ideas, or has experienced the same and knows a solution It would be greatly appreciated.

I updated to 4.4.4 and more specifically it happened right after update 23.0.1.A.5.77.
The signal flickered a few times right after the update and have since been gone from the 23rd of december (which I strongly regret as I didnt have any connection for the whole holidays. Horray for nanosim!).
Did you APN settings get erased after the update? Mine disappeared after the update and I had to manually put in new ones after getting them from my phone company in norway. Still doesnt help me get any signal though.
I have tried everything, on/off, flightmode on/off, turing off wifi/stamina/all other programs, resetting on phone, repair via PC-companion, putting in different types of APN-settings, swapping out simcard to another phone.
As far as I can see it, the update broke my phone. Im just going to turn it in to the retailer I bought it from in october and make them repair it.

I have just updated my firmware to 31.0.015 I canot get a signal since I have updated the firmware ! how can I fix this ?

I have seen some guys have experienced this signal issue after updating their N95 8GB to the FW v 31.0.015. most of their phones previously locked for a network (branded). is this same incident for you?

If you hadn't already been to the phone shop I would have said it is most probably a hardware fault in the antenna circuitry of the phone.
Can you remember the phone being dropped at any time?

No Signal after Update to 4.2

I Updated to 4.2 the other day (23'rd) and it all worked fine...
Was at a friends house and didn't bring charger so it ran out of power during the night. The 24'th I recharged it and when it recharged I had "No signal" even though I was near the copenhagen central station (usually full bars there). Tried upodating to 4.2.1 and downgrade to 4.1. Tried everything on apple's Q&A but nothing helped...
Anyone know a solution...
Also tried recovery mode, but no luck...
Tried makin recovery to a previous saftycopy of the options on it, but still nothing... Now I have an Iphone that worked perfectly fine before, but now "No Signal" at all times...
Can anyone help? Anyone had same experience...
Read on the internet someone had same problems but no solution... Someone sayin it was the Firmware for the modem, that got messed up in 4.2..

What do you mean by a "certified" store? Was it carrier unlocked when you bought it? ALL iPhones sold in Denmark are carrier locked and the only carrier that offers unlocking after purchase is 3.
The fact that it won't even activate now is consistent with the phone re-locking to another carrier. Officially unlocked phones won't re-lock. There is no way to "force" it to activate with a carrier.

Nokia 6131, No signal after updating software.

Hi, after my last phone update to version 5.50 my phone worked for a couple of days and after that I haven't been getting signal from my mobile provider. I even purchased a new antenna thinking that maybe that was the problem. I went to the dealer repair shop and they told me that it was a software problem not a hardware problem. Anyone can help me on how to fix this and getting signal back on my phone???

sir i a using my i phone 3gs i have a problem in it
it was working fine before in 4.1 thn recently i have updated to 6
since then it shows no NO SERVICE
i tried to do all the posibe ways ike reset settings and a those ways but my signal is not coming all
i brought the phone fro uk n using it in INDIA

I have this 3GS, i used a loot of time whit 4.0 software. after the upgrade to 4.1 the iphone dont get 3g signal, i need to put it off the 3g to get signal. and use the phone, if i put on the 3g on again i get just "No service". Somebody can help me??
Already do a restore, and already call to Rogers to know if something is wrong whit my service or the 3g service in my area.

Very weak wifi signal after updating to iOS 7.0.5

I am in Malaysia, and received notification to update software to iOS 7.0.5 a couple of days ago. Since the update, i keep losing wifi signal in the house, which did.not happen before the update. Even when connected to the wifi, the signal bar shows 2 while my other iPhone 4S and iPads are showing full signal strength.
Please advise how I can rollback to the previous version, as i have just realised this new update was meant for China.

Lost all signal after updating to IOS 7.1

I have an iphone 4s and Tesco sim. No previous problems at all and had kept the phone updated, until about 5 days ago when I updated to IOS 7.1, since when I have lost all my network coverage. It constantly shows 'Searching' or sometimes 'No Service'. I can't make or receive any calls or SMS which is hugely frustrating - though the rest of the phone is working fine and I can still imessage using the internet. It's not a problem with the provider (I have a work phone on the same network which is working fine) and it isn't the sim card, which I had changed incase that was the problem. I've tried all the tips I can see on here - putting flight mode on, turning phone on/off, turning 3g on/off, turning automatic carrier on/off, reset network setting, even did a factory reset today - all to no avail.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Seems very unfair that I should lose the basic use of my phone for updating?

Is your iPhone restricted? Check Settings > General > Restrictions

Printer won't receive signal after updating to Yosemite

I have ran a Xerox Phaser 3100 off of my iMac for quite some time and it has been totally fine. I just finished updating to Yosemite and now my printer won't receive anything. Window keeps saying ' Printer 'filter' failure'. I've tried adding and resetting the printer and nothing seems to work. Help!

I have another idea on how to use the old driver. NO guarantees.
For all who may be reading this -- this is for Yosemite -- it reduces security by relaxing sandboxing. It is a workaround, not a permanent fix.
Use the Terminal utility to run the two commands below -
sudo sh -c 'echo "Sandboxing Relaxed" >> /etc/cups/cups-files.conf'
sudo launchctl stop org.cups.cupsd
(sudo means superuser do - this is your admin user on OS X. It asks for your password - but it hides it from you when you type - for security)
