Galaxy Note Edge Release...Verizon knows why no reason not to tell us!!

I know that many of you are like me and are waiting for the  release of the Note edge on Verizon. I have read the many threads and saw your complaints and ideas. I had to ad mine. I have been a Verizon Customer for some time and like the cell service. I Do not like the fact that they took my unlimited data away the last time I renewed but I am living with it.
I am greatly disturbed on hoe they are treating there current Customers in regards to this release. I know there is a reason that Verizon is dragging their feet and for them not to just come out and be upfront is unacceptable. They could just say we are having issues with software or price or are waiting until a certain time.  To tell their reps to just say they have no info; just shows that they do not care about their customers and they believe they are the only game in town and can do what they want.
If they would just give honest info they would gain even more. I too am going to jump ship. I have watched other people enjoy the phone and are in fact paying less a month for more service than Verizon Offers. Example I currently pay $80 a month for my phone with only 4g of data and 450min of talk. I could switch and save $20 a month and get unlimited everything. However, I would like to remain loyal to Verizon, but there is only so much bad Customer service one can take.
I am going to wait till the end of the year and if the Note edge is not released, Verizon will force me to move to Sprint. Which, in my area has the same coverage as Verizon.
I am really hoping for a Christmas Present from Verizon and see the Note Edge available be for the end of Dec. Or for Verizon to just come right out and say what is going on!!!!!!

I hear you. if I do leave I am planning on paying for the phone up front. I do not believe in making payments on a phone. The is just plain dumb to me. If you are going to pay full price anyway by using easy pay you might as well pay for it up front on a credit card, if you can, and not be locked into a contract. I was on ATT's site yesterday and the phone is about a hundred dollars more there.
I just wish Verizon would talk to there Customers. I simple honest statement on what the issue for them is would go a very long way.

    My upgrade to Galaxy Note 3 is only 30 days old; it came with Android 4.3, units today come with Android 4.4; when will Verizon push the 4.4 upgrade?

    if the time for the screen set to lock down is set for a long time, the screen wasn't locked & you could pull down notifications.
    just checked, you can't pull down notifications unless the screen is unlocked with 4.3.
    is the screen lock down set for the same time as with 4.1.2?

    galaxy note is what I'd like to see too. a 5 inch phone with the new ics would be awesome.
    Unless they finally make a tablet with a dedicated phone in it that I could use bluetooth with.
    Or the Padfone, but I can't find out the specs of that one yet, so maybe.
    Well the  Galaxy Note has been out for a while and Verizon shouldn't let  ATT get that little genius of a phone. I'd pass on the Nexus for the Note next month when I will be getting something new from Big Red.
     Hopefully the Antena Will be fixed on the Nexus and Not A **bleep** patch that makes the bars register full strength instead of fixing the Antenas in the Nexus. 

  • I hate to see Verizon Logo on the back of Galaxy S6 Edge.

    I think S6 edge looks very cool and slick, no doubt I will buy it once it comes out. The emerald green color is gorgeous, which makes me feel like I am buying the phone just simply because of the design and color. But seriously, Verizon's logo is way too much ugly and big that it ruins the whole design of the phone. Why does the logo have to be that big??  No other company does that. Verizon is notorious to the world for doing that ****. I just hope they could reduce the size of it so that it does not ruin the whole design of great phones. One of my friend changed from Verizon to AT&T just because he hated what Verizon has done on his galaxy note 2 home button. Sadly, I have grandfathered unlimited plan, so I can't change mine to AT&T. I just hate to see Verizon ruining the design again and again by misusing their power to phone manufacturers. Well, one of the reason why people buy iPhones. sigh

    Yes, they may lose customers who prefer to have a removable battery and an SD card. They may also gain customers who don't prefer a removable battery and an SD card. There could be just as many either way.
    The bigger problem may be IF the 2550 mAh non-removeable battery does not last a full day on a single charge.

    The latest update for the Verizon Note 2, which i guess is a Canada roaming update, can not install. keeps giving me an error message. Did everything, factory reset (which sucked), took out SIM, power down, etc. can i get rid of this alert?

    What is the exact error message you get when attempting the update?  Are you connected to a WiFi hotspot or cellular data when attempting the update?  Please let me know so that I can further assist.  Thanks!

    Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release and wait for it to restart.

    Now I wanted to listen to it on my iPhone so I proceeded to transfer the purchase and looked for the book in the purchased section of the store in the iTunes on my iPhone but it did not show up.

    Can you find the audio book by using the Search feature on the iPod?
    Do you have the right boxes checked to sync the audio book to the iPod?
    iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
    Note you have to check the boxes in Books pane for the iPod in iTunes to sync books in general and another box to sync Audio Books.

    I click on the file i wish to view (via a portal)
    this file goes to notification widget (i drag down screen)
    notification/message says download complete
    i click on notification/message
    nows it says complete action using (here i only have 2 icon options 1= DB Text Editor 2 = HTML Viewer)
    I have installed Adobe Reader.

    Can you confirm if the downloaded file is a pdf file, that is it ends with .pdf?

    "Wireless Radio Not functioning" usually indicates an issue with the wireless card in the Printer.
    Please try below steps ..
    While the Printer is ON, unplug the Power Cord from back of the Printer.
    Wait for 30 seconds and then Plug in the Power Cord to the printer.
    While the printer is displaying the home screen,.
    Select Setup > Network > Wireless Radio : ON
    on Printer display, Select Setup > Network > Print Network Configuration . Check if the printed diagnostic pages still displays " Wireless Radio Not Functioning" ? if Yes, Your Printer requires a SERVICE, hence  Please call HP Support ( US ) 1-800-474-6836 .
