I want one! Would hate to switch to Att but this phone is the perfect solution for me. C'mon Verizon, we need this phone. Anyone else agree?

We are eligible for an upgrade on our Casio Commando, which is a bit of a man joke, but none the less very durable. And never a phone has lasted this long, so Kudos Casio! But it's just too small for big fingers, as texting frustrates him.
Now, I love my S3 sooo much, yeah, so much that he's jealous, sooo he needs his own version... He wants the Galaxy S4 "Active" too!!! For all those peps working hard out in the field, they need the durability! Please hurry up, I don't want to have to change carriers either.

I have a unlocked Galaxy S5 Active SM-G870A from AT&T. When I compared it to a regular Galaxy S5 they both have the frequencies needed for both GSM & CDMA. Also looking in the phones settings it can be set to CDMA/LTE and more. Wes: Straight talk would not activate it as a CDMA. It is working on at&t but at&t isn"t as good as Verizon where I live.
Aiden: Please contact your carrier so that they will check the carrier profile settings on their end and assist you further with it.
Wes: They (straight talk) told me it was first active on at&t so they can't activate it for CDMA
Aiden: Unfortunately, we don't have an option to activate carrier on your phone from our end.

Wes: I was wondering if the "A" at the end of the model # is showing the phone to be at&t only phone.

On this link comparing the s5 & s5 active if you scroll down the page a little to where it shows the phones "TECHNOLOGY" they are almost identical. On the phone if I enter *#*#4636#*#* it gives me the option to switch it to just about any frequency there is. LTE/GSM, LTE/CDMA, GSM/CDMA,CDMA only, GSM only, WCDMA, EvDO, LTE only, and a few others. Es cierto que el Galaxy S6 Active es exclusivo a AT&T; pero por el momento no se puede comprar ya desbloqueado.
Solamente el fabricante (Samsung) puede vender teléfonos ya liberados.
Lo puedes comprar al precio completo y luego llenar una Solicitud de desbloqueo.
Otra cosa de tomar en cuenta es que no enviamos paquetes internacionales, así que el teléfono solo puede ser comprado aquí en EEUU.

Why can't my husband and daughter who are both using Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4 Active not able to receive text from my iPhone 5 and my daughter's iPhone 4S?

I have a simple solution.
The person who has the iPhone sending you the text messages your are not getting, has to press and hold the blue message box until the menu pops up and one option is to "Send as Text Message" tap that - have them send another new message to you, if it is blue, not green, repeat. I beleieve if you do that twice, the iPone will always send you a text message, not an iMessage.

So you are saying that as long as I do not use wifi, then it will not autoupdate? Also, I will not say if it will or will not put me over my limit. I can say that I am speaking for others that CANNOT AFFORD more data. Not everyone has a grandfathered unlimited plan or 10GB+ shared family data plan.

Is there any way to disable the firefox search option when you long press the home button on Samsung Galaxy S5 Active?

I have an S5 Active and sometimes the home button sticks and registers as a long press which brings up Firefox search instead of going to the home screen. Is there any way to disable Firefox Search so that this doesn't happen. I Love the Firefox browser but if this keeps happening I will have to uninstall it.

Galaxy s6 Active for ANR line

I was wondering if the s6 active would be available for the ANR concession/employee line soon? I really want the phone and I've never been on AT&T and was hoping to get the line started ASAP so I could try the service.

Samsung Galaxy s5 active

NEW ISSUE:
I can receive TEXT messages, but I CANNOT SEND TEXT messages. Everytime --and no matter whom I'm trying to text, the text box goes gray, and I get a FAILED TO SEND notice in the ! box.
This just started today; I've never had any issues before. I would really appreciate help resolving this problem.

It may be a bad SIM card. You can get a free replacement at an ATT corporate store.

Galaxy s6 Active Email Notifications Do Not Work

I do not want everything set up the way it was because I need to add everything back one at a time to see where the problem lies.

There are a few different places where you can enable your notifications. Navigate to settings> Sounds and Notifications. At that point scroll to App notifications and Email Application. Make sure it is turned on from there. If it is already turned on there you can turn them on from the application. Once in the application you can navigate to settings and make sure it is turned on from there. If you are still having problems are not receiving other notifications you might want to go to Settings> Sounds& Notifications and make sure you have sounds enabled while on the lock screen. if you are still having trouble you can try going into your application manager and delete application cache/data * This should not delete any information but backing up your data is never a bad plan *Please feel free to reach back out and let us know if any of this information was useful or if you still need help. Can't find hardware icons on android samsung galaxy s4?? Firefox OS 31.0 SGH-I537

Read all the topics and there is no icon for hardware on samsung galaxy s4 active phone. There was an icon in April 2014. After April update, numerous factory resets in August/flashed and other updates I can't find the hardware icon. I signed up to be a volunteer and I received a message to activate and introduce myself which I did. I have received no reply from any mentor from Mozilla support group.

Did you flash Firefox OS to your phone?
Or are you using Firefox for Android?

Brand new S6 Active won't update

I just got a new Galaxy S6 Active and am stuck on the AOE9 build. I have tried for two days to update to the new version OF3 that came out however it says that the device is up to date everytime.

the s6 active is ATT only at this point and time.....
My suggestion to the op is dont do it as your hotspot and other features wont work since those are locked to ATT even after the device is sim unlocked. The other thing to remember is you will never get updates since the phone is not being used on the ATT network.

How do I stop Firefox from playing video after I navigate from the page or leave Firefox?

Simple and annoying. . Extremely frustrating issue with Firefox for Android. ..
I watch a YouTube video or any flash video. . And after I hit play, the ONLY way to stop it is to hit pause or let it play to the end or close the tab. .
It will NOT automatically stop if I open another tab. or if I navigate from Firefox. .
I feel this is a very basic feature. Did I set something up that was wrong?

I was a hardcore xscope user for years and just recently gave in to Firefox when i lost all my bookmarks due to a forced factory data reset. .

I'm using a different keyboard which works fine in the most top search bar...
I cannot believe that it's not a feature.
What if I was watching a video and wanted to shut it off quickly? I'll have to hit back? Wait for the previous screen to load then hit the power button?
Please tell me that feature ids soon to come
