Have a Look at this new update just seen it on Droid Life.. Just looking at it, It seems to cover quit a bit .. And mentions connectivity has been improved

Samsung Galaxy 5 Lollipop update issues with new features

I am having various problems with the new update to my phone. Any advice for the issues below is greatly appreciated.
1) Is there a way to get my tabs BACK into Chrome? Having to go to my task manager to get a different tab or close the current one is time consuming and annoying. I want to be able to toggle between tabs and close tabs while I'm in the Chrome application.
2) I use Messages for my text message application. Currently, If I have a message open and I receive another message from that same person, there is no notification. Before the update, I would get a notification of any texts. Unless I exit the message group, I do not get any notification. Is there a setting change that I can apply so I always get notified? This issue has cause me to miss various texts and have delayed responses because I am not actively staring at the phone.
3) Is there a way to override the settings on the Mute sound? Typically, a person will put their phone on mute and set their alarm to wake them up. With the new update, I have to set mute, go to settings, set the interruptions time to 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. This inevitably ends up with my phone starting to buzz with vibrations well before my alarm is set to go off. I can set alarm to priority, but Mute always cancels all interruptions. Having to go through 4 steps to get my alarm set each night, along with getting vibration notifications is not practical.

Drives me crazy this iSlug 4s aka iPhone 4super slow...
Before iOS 8 it was faster in everything I do, now it even gives me a 3-5second black screen before an app opens......
Come time and money I will switch to Samsung Galaxy S5....
Can't wait for that day !

I tried about most of the trouble shooting tips on the internet, I even did a clean install with ALL the apps,
Update the iOS and even the still black or blue screen for 2-4 seconds between a app opening , all the apps are closed down like nothing runs in the background....
I even cut most of my images to the Macbook and on DropBox or GoogleDrive...
When I tried to chat online to Apple Care, after I inserted the serial number, it gave me a message that the device has been replaced, please contact Apple care.....
It is like running in circles to get an answer....
Speaking to an Apple guru on the phone is like " Oh just make an appointment and leave it here for repairs...."
This is the only phone I run my business from...

Good news! We have brought forward the software update schedule for our Nokia Lumia 710, and have begun rolling out the latest update 1600.3015.8107.12070 to India and Singapore. We will add more countries and variants to the rollout based on market requests.
The new Lumia 710 update brings the following enhancements:

Well La Dee Dah Yvonne . . . I got news for you . . . 3 different nokia employess at 3 different times and days told me that they have no idea when a new update will be out. Infact one of them went so far as to tell me to sell of my phone and buy a new one if i'm not happy with it and guess what . . . Thats EXACTLY what i did. I had 2 Nokia Lumia 710's. A black one for myself and a white one for my wife. Well so taking your Nokia Employees enlightened advice I went and bought a black Samsung Galaxy S II for myself and a white one for my wife . . . And trust me when i say this but i'm going to go around telling anyone who cares to listen how Nokia cheated a custome who's been loyal to them for the last 22 YEARS. Firefox will not open after new update; Error: Platform version '1.9.2.13' is not compatible

After accepting the new update I got this error message when trying to restart Firefox:

I have tried:
- Opening in Safe Mode; same error
- Uninstalling, deleting remaining info in C>ProgramFiles>MozillaFirefox folder, and reinstalling.
- Updating Avast antivirus in case that was interfering.
Now when I try to start Firefox I get this message;
Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.
But there is nothing happening in the Windows Task Manager. Please, somebody save me from Windows Internet Explorer!!

I experienced this error updating from Firefox 3.6.13 to 3.6.14 and resolved it by doing a 'clean' install' as described. It occurred again in updating from 3.6.14 to 3.6.15 and this time a clean install failed to rectify it. (Anyway, I don't want to have to go through this every time.)
Work-around: Shut down Firefox. Edit application.ini (typically "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\application.ini")

There are no updates to either OS 10.5.8 or Safari 5.0.6.
If you need a later version of Safari you must first upgrade your operating system to a later version of OS X.

I received the new update from Itunes and after installing, I couldnt get into my Itunes. I get a message from Windows saying that an MC file is missing and to reinstall I tunes. I have reinstalled 3 times, the first time I didn't remove the old version, I installed the update over it. Next I tried the repair function under Control Panel. After that, I uninstalled Itunes and reinstalled again from the website. I still get the same message about missing files from Windows.

Please help me figure this out. I'm very unhappy at the moment. I'm fustrated and don't have any idea how to revert to the original version before the update was done on iMovie 10. I NEVER hated APPLE until NOW!! I love APPLE products and apps so please help me stay in that mindset. So I worked on some movie projects when I got my macbook pro 6 months ago. I update reguarly. I saw the update prompt and honestly, I did not think I would have ANY issuess with opening my previous files that I created only a few months ago with this updated version.The new updated version of iMovie 10 won't let me open my previous files I created before the update today. I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

Yup, updated my Apple TV and got sky news and a couple of other new apps I will never use. I am growing increasingly fed up with looking at all the good stuff there is on offer in America and nothing in the UK..... I know I shouldn't look :)
And it's not just Apple I suppose, checking out the apple and Microsoft US movie stores and they have a much better selection. Wish we all had the willpower to stop giving these companies money until they fulfil customer needs...

Problems with the new update on iPad

Hi, i just installed the new update on my i pad and now its not working anymore, it keeps trying to open, but it doesnt even got past the black background with the apple logo on it, then it closes and reopens after, and its going on and on since yesterday, what can i do? I bought my iPad 2 years ago now, but i've been caring alot for it, its in really good shape and all, is there anything i can do to fix the problem or do i have to go to the apple store... and even there, will they fix it or tell me to buy a new one...

I already tried holding both the Home button and Sleep/Wake buttons but it didn't work, and since my iPad is not staying open long enough it doesn't connect to my itunes...

My iPhone 4s says that my software version 5.0.1 is up to date. Why am I not receiving the notification that the new update is available for me to download?

I have an iPhone 4s, not jailbroken. I was able to update to 5.0.1 when it came out last year. When 5.1.1 came out, I noticed that I never received the
notification that a new update was available. I updated my 2 ipads and my wife's iphone 4. I didn't bother looking into it, since I didn't feel the need to update to 5.1.1. Now I want to update to ios 6, but when I go to Settings > General > Software Update. It checks for updates , but still shows me that my 5.0.1 is up to date. I plug into itunes and check for update there and it still indicates that 5.0.1. is up to date as well.
Does anyone know what this is happening and how I can update to ios 6?
