No. If you don't have the album you originally used to create the galleries you can do so by dragging the photos from each gallery to a new, empty album. Then when you find the photo sharing site/option you have decided on you can easily upload each album to the site.
Another option is to obtain a hosting service and create iWeb photo pages for each album and future albums similar to this photo page in one of my demo sites: iPhoto Book as an iWeb Slideshow. Or you can use the iWeb album page and have an album for each iPhoto album on it like on this demo page: Page-7 .

When synchronizing an iPhoto picture gallery to MobileMe, is there any way to filter out which pictures in the gallery you want posted. For instance, can is there a way to only upload the "flagged" photos?

Caution urged when updating iLife - Affects Gallery in MobileMe?

I've installed the latest update for iLife '08 and now I am unable to upload photos from my browser to MobileMe. Others who have the same problem have posted messages in MobileMe-Gallery, and this latest update to iLife '08 is suspected as the culprit. Be careful and if you use MobileMe consider waiting until the problem is fixed before updating iLife.

Try turning off all options on the gallery, publish, turn them back on, publish and try again. As Terence I just tried uploading via Safari to a test gallery and it worked as advertised.
Have you rebooted your Mac recently?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

No. iCloud provides a very basic gallery in Photo Journal, but it is populated only from iPhoto for iOS. If you have any photos on your MobileMe Gallery which are not also on your Mac you need to be downloading them now, or you will lose them.

LR 1-2 - export flash gallery to MobileMe - is it possible?

Anyone tried to upload a flash gallery made in LR 1-2 and got it uploaded to MobileMe (.Mac)? Can not figure out how to do this or if it´s even possible..

As a novice to lightroom I still have several questions:
I have uploaded the files, they are visible on the iDisk (in finder), but I do not know how to give the gallery a password, or even give the url to another person.
I can open the gallery on the I disk, but I don't see the gallery when I go the gallery on the webbrowser.
I use LR 2.0, iMac with OS10.5

IWeb retired and replaced by Gallery in MobileMe?

After five days of iWeb stress I finally found that MobileMe has a picture hosting option which I am going to trial. Maybe Apple has disabled iWeb but has not let us know.

Changes applied and MobileMe Gallery

After uploading a gallery to MobileMe I changed some picture's settings (exposure an such) within Aperture. I expected Aperture to upload the new versions with the next MobielMe Gallery sync.
But it won't. What am I doing wrong?

Have you refreshed your browser? Maybe you need to clear your cache and reload the page.
Does both the visitor and owner pages show the old versions of the pictures?
You could create a duplicate version of the images and add those to the MobileMe album. Then. delete the old version and sync the album.

...mobileme photo gallery transfer

is there a w ay to transfer pix on the web gallery of mobileme back to my imac & iphoto
i thought i had them on the iphone and when i synced with a new computer there were gone from the phone. i also thought they were backed up on an external, but not there either. only place they exist is on the mobileme gallery.
i am a bit dismayed that they never transfered from the iphones as they should have, but what is..is and i would like them back on the phone or atleast on the mac.
any ideas? please
i also took pix of notes on the iphone and they are not anywhere either..this was a big loss that should not have happened!

SOMETHING REALLY STRANGE IS HAPPENING
I TRIED TO SYNC & MERGE MY IPHONE DATA TO MY ADDITIONAL MAC...THINGS MERGED, BUT THE CONTACTS ..IT SAYS TO MANY CONFLICTS..I TRIED TO RESOLVE , I ELIMINATED OR MERGED THE CONFLICTS..NO DICE, BUT I NEVER LOST MY NOTES..WHICH I REALLY WAS EXPECTING TO LOSE..I KEEP TRYING TO SYNC AND IT SAYS CONTACT SYNC FAILED. I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO RESOLVE..THIS IS THE MESSAGE THAT POPS UP: contacts could not be synced b/c of inconsistent data. "Confirm that your computer's data is valid, then reset contacts on MobilMe in system preferences".. i have eliminated duplicates and no of nothing else to do besides which i can not find anything to help me in System Prefs.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated..doing this if i am able to ..will i lose contacts from either place..Mac/phone??

Editing titles on mobileme gallery

OK - this is a simple question... I have created albums that I have then posted to MobileMe. So in my source panel, there's a section for Events, Albums and MobileMe Galleries, amongst others. If I want to make changes to my album on MobileMe, do I do it all within the MobileMe Gallery section of my iPhoto or do it make the changes to the Album I used to create the gallery? For example, if I want to add titles to my photos, where should I do it? Is there a way to add titles in such a way that they are added to my iPhoto and to my MobileMe Gallery? Or was I supposed to add all the titles before I posted the album to MobileMe?
Same questions for adding/removing photos from the Album and MobileMe Gallery. Can I do it in one place to impact both? Sorry - I've had such trouble lately posting albums that I feel like I've forgotten how it's supposed to work.

Adding the title in any of those places will change all of them (set MobileMe to manual update first to avoid issues of making changes while it is automatically updating) - there is one and only one photo in iPhoto and it shows in the album, in the MobileMe gallery and the iPhoto library

removing a photo from the source album only removes it from that album
Removing a photo from the MobileMe gallery removed is from both the MobileMe gallery on MobileMe and in iPhoto
Removing a photo from the iPhoto library (event or photo view) and emptying the iPhoto trash removed the photo from all places - all albums, galleries, books and disk

For those who have taken the plunge with MobileMe.Can you please let me know if you can upload photos in an album or Cameral Roll to MobileMe?
My intention is to upload multiple pictures at a time, rather than one at a time.

I think you can upload one photo at a time. You have to first create an album in your photo gallery on MobileMe and enable it to accept pics via email.

I can't access my MobileMe gallery since the last update, and I don't have a computer to fix it or retrieve any of my pix or vids. What do I do?

What do your mean by "mygallery"? Is this some service independent of icloud?
The old gallery on MobileMe is no longer, and icloud does not have such a service. Did you save your old photos that were on MobileMe to a computer? Because that was the only way to save them. They are not on icloud.

How can I use my old MobileMe email address if I did not migrate to icloud by the deadline?

I had a mobile me account that I did not migrate to icloud. Now when I try and set up an icloud account using the old mobileme email address, it says that address is already in use. I then try and access it but the password doesn't work and it says mobileme is closed. When I try and reset the password, it says an email has been sent to the email on file...which is an old mobileme address that I cannot access.
How can I get this email address set up in icloud?

Nice idea - I tried it but it doesn't seem to work (at least not for me).
So here are the details in case, you can spot something more I could do....
When MobileMe was live
MobileMe ID was [email protected]
AppleID (to make iTunes purchases) was [email protected]
When iCloud went live (and MM was still alive)
iCloud account was created based upon AppleID - [email protected]
iCloud would not create [email protected] as was already in use (by me)
iCloud would not merge [email protected] as iCloud does not merge
MobileMe migration to iCloud option was not taken
Deleted all data out of MobileMe account (mail, calendar, contacts, gallery)
Deleted MobileMe mail account off of all devices
When MM died
I received notification that I had not migrated my MM account
iCloud was happily working as Contacts/Calendar sharer using my AppleID of [email protected]
Weeks later on Mac running 10.8
System Preference - iCloud, already logged in with AppleID of [email protected]
Then ticked the untick Mail box
Long wait with small grey whirling cog box, stating "Loading". Eventually a BLANK message box with OK which then disappeared on a timeout.
System Preference - Mail... Re-added [email protected] (now picked up as iCloud account)
Mail - Accounts.... Re-added [email protected] BUT got message "Mail can'y connect to the account..."
So tried logging into www.icloud.com (using AppleID of [email protected] where my contacts/calendar now reside). Clicked on Mail icon and received "@me.com Address Needed" message

I have a couple of questions:
- How do I transfer my existing photo/movie gallery from mobileme to icloud?
- How do I setup my iphoto 11 to send photos to icloud from the share button in the bottom RH corner? I would like to be able to send friends a link where they can see photos as I did in mobile me

You can do neither of these things with iCloud.

Im trying to setup an nice looking photographers website using Aperture2, iweb hosted on mobileme...
I would like to keep it all looking simple with a black background.
I like what aperture creates and the way it sync's to mobileme, but im looking to have a homepage with links and other content.
I can create a black homepage, with a link to an aperture created gallery on mobileme, but my question is this.. how can you link back from mobileme to the homepage?
or is there a better way??
