And why do you nee a widget for it?
It you men the pages under "GALLERIES":
You have images, which are supplied with a link to a different page. On this page you find placed images.
I think, no widget is needed for this kind of layout.
(Don’t forget: You can place many pictures at one time. That will simplify lay outing the pages. And: You only need to layout one page. You can copy the content to an other page and simply replace the images within their containers by using right click and "replace image".)

Lightbox Gallery - TCN Widget not displaying live

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help with this please. I've downloaded the TCN Widget Lightbox Gallery and it works fine in preview mode but I can't get it to work properly live on the web. Whenever I click on a thumbnail, the large image does display but that's it - there's no graphics (beside the main image) and it's not placed properly etc.
The site is: http://www.valuevisionglasses.co.uk and the relevant gallery pages from the drop down menu would be Ladies, Gents, Sunglasses.
It's probably something obvious that I'm missing but I've been tearing my hair out for two days over this.

looking to your source code the first thing I saw (I know, I have to go deeper next time) was this little difference, please control it. You started with:

... and Lightbox actually responds very sensitively to deeper nesting and wide ramifications of directories and sometimes and sometimes even in long file names, like "Alpine-Titanium-Alp23-M.Gun-54-17.jpg". For this reason I created for all my lightbox-applications one single lightbox-directory. There you will find all my lightbox-php-html-files and all the subdirectories for the corresponding images and from there Lightbox worked.

How Do Embed a YouTube Video into the Video Gallery Lightbox Widget

I just downloaded the VGL widget at Video Gallery Lightbox | Exchange | Adobe Muse CC . I'm able to change the picture but have not figured out how to embed the video. The instructions say it can be changed "via an "insert html" but when I do this I just get another video inserted into the page. Help!!!

Select the composition and go to composition options > enable "show lightbox parts while editing".
Now select the target container and remove existing video and insert video html in that container. This way you can change the videos.

Pages 08 help appears in Pages 09

I just upgraded from Pages 08 to Pages 09 via the Mac App Store. But when I choose Pages Help from the Help Menu i get the help for Pages 08 not the new Pages 09. How can I fix that?

My choice would be to ignore the help files and use the Pages '09 User Guide. The guide is available for download via the Halp menu, or through the link. If you'd prefer to use the Help files, this link should take you there: Pages '09 Help.

Photo gallery page from iWeb '08 doesn't work for Mac OS X 10.3.9 user?

I have recently published a photo gallery page with comments on using iWeb '08 (latest update). Displays fine for me and apparently a lot of other mixed-platform users. But one user is saying that his eMac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and the Safari of the day don't display the pictures. He gets the banner and background image for the gallery, but not the actual pictures. I asked him to try Firefox, but so far no reply on that.
Do the older versions of Safari work with content from iWeb '08?

Unfortunately this is not true. On an iMac G4 10.3.9 using Safari you cannot even view the photos, the photo page or even the web gallery itself. You just get a warning. But Kirk, they don't, none of them! and this kind of stuff just seems crazy to some of us. I wish that Apple would TELL US or advertise the facts like, Oh, you only get ONE gallery for each user on Web Gallery (useless) and Oh, you will not be able to edit 06 iWeb pages with 08 iWeb and the iLife 08 version of iPhoto you will not be able to view these galleries without upgrading to the latest Safari web browser. Yes we always expect some bugs with a major update but this is getting ridiculous.
I have not yet had anybody try downloading the newest version of Firefox that will work with 10.3.9. Do you know if that will make a difference? Thanks for your help.

Photo Gallery Page

I'm creating a photo gallery page for a site.... I have my 12
thumbnails (70 x 70) in a table. To the right is a 260 x 260 layer
in which to view the photo full size. I want to have the full size
photo appear in this layer when the viewer mouses over the
corresponding thumbnail. Is this accomplished using javascript?
I've seen this on other sites. Can anyone suggest a tutorial or
other help? I considered the Flash / XML method but I don't want a
slideshow. Please help.

It can be accomplished using CSS and javascript
highlight the thumbnail and use behaviors to "show or hide
layers". You will need to place the correct image in each layer
(I know that a lot of people do not like layers but it works
for this example. just fine I have had no problems) (but it is
confusing)

IWeb and galleries - Why cant I make a gallery-page??

Hello! I'm new to Mac (Just bought an MacBook) as well as iWeb. I have pictures from 6 different holidays which I would like to post on the iWeb-site I'm creating at the moment. Is the only solution to make 6 gallery pages right along side the main pages, such as "Welcome", "CV", "blog" and so on? I'm looking for something like a "Gallery page" where you click on a holiday (Icon or picture), which takes you to a page where you can check the photos or watch a slideshow. I've tried a bunch of times, but it won't work, which is why I'm asking out here!

Check out this idea from the .Mac Blog...I think it will suit your purposes perfectly and AUTOMATICALLY via iPhoto and iWeb!

Please note, you must have your photos organized into your desired albums in iPhoto. Otherwise, this will create everthing for you! And it won't clutter up your navigation menu!

How to do a video gallery page

Hi everyone
when you create a new page iWeb lets you choose from some preset pages like the homepage, the blog, the video and the photo gallery.
But the video page lets you put one or more videos in just one page.
If you have many videos and you want to divide them in different categories like the photo gallery page do for photos, how can you do it?
If you select the photo gallery and if you put videos instead of photos from your iTunes inside of it, it seems to do the job, but I can't use this trick cause I have not enough hosting space to store the videos, and infact I uploaded them in youtube and with the youtube widget the photo gallery doesn't work and shows nothing...
Did someone know how to create a video gallery page (or something like that) with videos from youtube?

This is one way you could do it: PhotoPresenter Animated Slideshow Themes. The thumbnails can be as small as you'd like. This way none of the video files have to load before they play button is selected. Otherwise the page would take forever to load.

Iweb not showing 'Gallery pages' on new Safari 5

I just updated my Safari on my imac to the new 5 version, and suddenly when I view my iweb sites... all pages are ok apart from the gallery pages which are blank! No gallery images show at all....
Anyone have any idea..i went to the mac store and it worked on the mac in store...
but not on both imacs I viewed it on before and after checking at apple shop!
Is it a bug in Safari..or do i need to update 'iweb' or dump safari!

HI.. in Firefox Galleries view fine..... but not Safari.
Which worries me as Safari is the official mac and iphone browser.
I have used iweb extensively over the last years, and tinkered with it a lot.
The galleries going missing really worry me..so i have bought a OS upgrade and iweb 4 now ....

Centering photos on gallery pages

I've searched and googled and haven't found an answer to my problem.
I'm creating some gallery pages directly in iWeb (don't use iPhoto). They seem to look pretty good with one problem, they align the bottom of each image instead of centering. The page would look much better if the images were centered vertically in relation to each other.

I wish I could help, but I also REALLY REALLY want to be able to fix this problem also.
The page looks especially awful when you have horizontal and vertical photos combined.

Installing Counter on Web Gallery Page(s)

Is it possible to install a 'counter' on iPhoto 08's new Web Gallery pages -if so how does one go about doing that?

You can create a simple iWeb page with a counter and with a widget link to the iPhoto gallery like you see in this test page.

I have installed the web page widget as per the instructions. I can able to drag the widget to my captivate project stage and I can able to give all kinds of inputs to the widget. But none of them is not working.

If you read this article http://captivatedev.com/2010/11/05/adobe-captivate-5-web-page-widget/ there is a entry which you need to change after you publish it to Flash. Open .htm file in Notepad and change this entry and then play it.
NOTE: The published .htm file needs to have one change where the wmode should be set to “opaque” or “transparent” instead of “window”.

There is nothing wrong with your Dell, it will work fine with any MacbookPro. I have been using Dell displays for over 12 years with many different Mac models. I have two 21" Ultra Sharp displays working side by side to design a Keynote presentation right now.
The issue your having is with the way Keynote takes control of the video output to both displays, it sends the presentation signal to one and the presenter display to the other, this is set up in;
Keynote preferences > Presenter display.
If you want to show a wesite or another app on either display, use application switcher:
press the the command key on the keyboard, then the tab key; a row of applications will show what applications are running, choose which one you want to show. Use command > tab to return to Keynote.

Ralph..........Did as you suggested and I am still getting the message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". I am not able to connect with anything on the Internet. Frustrating since I am able to connect with my laptop. Thanks for the suggestion.
