Game app help on Facebook with ipad2
I can't collect gifts from slotomania. I've downloaded the app, every time I try to use slotomanis on Facebook it keeps coming up with a page to download, then I can't get out of that screen.
If you have the app all what I do is tilt it so it is on its side then the bar on the right hand side will come up with your recent chats and people who are online then it shows the green dot who is online then tap the name then the chat collom comes up and then type your message and send then it should have sent

I like to play the odd game while killing time in the washroom. Since the new update, every time I would play a game, the Blackberry Games app would pop up and ask me to get started. Finally, I caved and hit "Get Started" in hopes to get rid of it. The Games app automatically sent a broadcast to all of my BBM contacts without my knowledge or permission. I went to permissions and tried to change it, but the permissions are locked. Now whenever I play a game it broadcasts to all of my BBM contacts. Since it is a BB operating system app, I cannot delete it.
I have done some searching on the internet and I'm not the only one with this problem. However, I have yet to find a solution. Can someone please help??? I don't want my colleagues to know that I'm playing games every time I head to the washroom.
Solutions I have tried without success:
1) Changing settings in the Games App...There really aren't any settings in this app
2) Changing permissions...Permissions are locked. It's not possible to turn off
3) Deleting the app...App cannot delete because it's a BB native operating system appHi dadamwalker,

What software version does your BlackBerry Z10 have installed?
To clarify, under Settings>Security and Privacy>Application Permissions when you tap the box that says Permissions All and change it to Connect to BBM, you are unable to disable Games?

when you connect your phone with your computer and use itunes you can click on the phone
and click on an update button
about facebook games then think they are all flash based and iphones cant do flash so thats not possible -
One iPad2 is of my daughter the other is mine I put the same Game Center account, but when I installed the game app in my ipad2 it start in level 1!! when I check my achievements in GC I have them 24 of 61 but not in my level 30 but in level 1... Help please (frustrated with Game Center app with my hay day farm app :(
And I use iCloud tooIF he set up find my ip[hone on the ihone itself BEFORE it was stolen ( there is no app, it is a setting) AND it is on AND it has jot been restored, then you may be able to track it using icloud/find my iphone.
Otherwise, there is no way to track it. -

Try reset iPad and continue with update

I have an ipad2 and all of a sudden I have stopped getting sound in my game apps. I get normal sound on YouTube and I player and downloaded DVDs. If I plug headphones in then I can get sounds for the games. I have switched the lock screen button off and on again and done a reset twice, can anyone help me with this?
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

Safari 4.0.3 giving me some problems when Im on a FaceBook game app.
Sometimes when I am on a certain FaceBook Game app, Safari quits on me, this is just recenly that safari is doing this, Safari has never done this before on my FaceBook Game app. Safari would do this once in awhile on a particular web site page but never on my FaceBook or its Game app up til now.
This is making me mad and Fusterated.
Is anyone else having the same problem?

I have three browsers on my Mac, such as: Firefox 3.5.5, Opera 10.01, and Safari 4.0.4 for Mac OS X v10.4 (PowerPC). Opera has been the most successful browser even with the slowest of networks, thanks to Turbo technology brings broadband speeds to slow networks. Opera outperforms Safari 4.0.4 in my tests and pages load quicker. Even though I encounter some problems with Facebook on Opera, the site actually works great with Opera and Opera 10, in my tests, is faster than Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5. Opera works just as fine with Mac OS X architecture and just like Firefox provides tons of themes, extensions, etc.
The problem may be with Facebook itself cause I think the only version that may be compatible with Facebook is Safari 3 cause I guess Facebook like most websites hasn't kept up with the latest web browsers, which kind of reminds me of my issues with MySpace, where I could edit my profile with Safari but I needed Firefox to change the themes and use profile editor.
If you're running Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, Safari 4 is supposed to use a crash-resistant technology where the plug-ins and the browser are on separate threads that the hard drive reads. So if the plug-in crashes the browser won't and a refresh fixes the problem. Plus, Safari 4.0 on Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard I heard executes JavaScript 50 times faster.
Also you may want to upgrade to 10.6.2 update.
Depending on how long you've had your Mac for, I'd call technical support at 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273) if any more problems occur so that the experts at Apple can help you with this ongoing problem. I hope it gets resolved cause I'm upgrading from iBook G4 to MacBook Pro in January and I don't want to have any problems like this. -
Game Center - HELP! I have multiple ID's with the same account
About a year or so ago I was syncing my iPad2, or updating the iOS...I can't remember...but for some reason the iPad forced me to create a new game center ID. I now have two game center ID's (each with different friends, different profile pictures, etc.) under the same apple ID. I have seen quite a few remarks that state it cannot happen, but rest assured it has happened to me. Every now and then for some odd reason Game Center will log me in as the ID I originally used. But for the most part it uses the one that I was forced to create a year ago. I have no control over this. And the iPad acknowledges this because when I have tried to open some apps it has told me "Game Center ID was changed..." blah blah blah and I have lost all my saved data on some games, including IAP's which has me so furious if this is not fixed I will never put a single penny of mine into any Apple product ever again.
Lately (since iOS 7.0.4 was released) I am having major problems with my apps crashing. They lag, they freeze, they crash. CONSTANTLY. I think the fact that I have multiple game center ID's is somehow causing some sort of conflict, since I believe I ruled everything else out.
Just for the record:
1. I have power-cycled my ipad (this solves the problem for about a day).
2. I have closed all apps running in the background.
3. I have reset my ipad (this solves the problem for about a day).
4. I have tried installing new apps to see if it resets how it accessess apps (I read this may solve crashing issues).
5. I have turned off my VPN, turned it back on, etc...
6. I have renewed my lease.
7. I have reset my internet (it's not the internet because all my other devices work just fine but I figured I'd try it anyway).
8. I am considering the possibility that the iPad2 is just dying, or going defective, for whatever reason (worn out I guess). If that's the case I sure won't ever be buying another one.
So, all I would like to know at this point is: how can I delete one of these game center ID's?Welcome to the Apple Community.
No, your ID is essentially your account. You can have email aliases and you can have multiple accounts, but I don't think that's what you are asking. -
How to create backup file on itunes for ipod touch 4g game apps data? Is there a way to do it? I want to try an app on my friend's computer, but you can't add apps on another computer without having your own ipod's data being deleted. Thx for any help!

You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro

and re-authorize your new macBook Pro
time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff. -

Yes, definitely it drains the battery much more quickly than regular apps like facebook; iDisk and others. It must be like the other poster mentioned due to intensive graphics and that causes the iPod processor to think and spin a lot..... Leaving your iPod out of charge.
To me it's very absurd the idea that apple is advertising the iPod touch like a gaming console and even smash talking that PSP and nintendo DS are very sketchy as game entertaiment console. Yeah, the iPod touch brought new boundaries to portable gaming console with the accelemerator but when it comes to battery life that is a downer. It mainly is bad for playing game unless you stuck on the wall charging the iPod. As a portable device with the gaming is a big no to me.... Anyways this is not part of the post question, maybe is to leave it for other day.

Facebook game app loading issues
None of my FB game apps load/completely load. On one I get the message that javascript needs to be enabled...but it is. I also updated java and flash to no avail. Is anyone else having this difficulty?

After the reboot completes go to www.blackberry.com/appworld on your browser and reinstall App World. Ensure you reboot after the installation completes.

Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Application Support/Conduit
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). From the Finder menu bar, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder…
Paste (command-V) into the box that opens, then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder named "Conduit" selected. If it does, delete the selected item.
Repeat with this line:
/Applications/Toolbars
Now you're deleting a folder named "Toolbars". You may be prompted for your login password. Next, copy this line:
/Library
Select Go to Folder… again and paste. Don't delete the Library folder. Delete only the following items inside it, if they exist.
Application Support/Conduit
InputManagers/CTLoader
LaunchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
ScriptingAdditions/ct_scripting.osax
Close the Finder windows you opened. Log out and log back in.
I've seen a report that Conduit may be bundled with a scam "utility" called "MacKeeper." If you installed MacKeeper, you should remove it according to the developer's instructions. It's worthless and causes many problems reported on this site.
While you're at it, also remove DivX, CoolIris, and "FBPlugin" (whatever that is) according to the respective developers' instructions. -
It seems most games over 100 meg will boot through the developers segway and then flash back to the home screen. Has anyone else experienced this?
IT also seems to have slowed down considerately!
