Game Center issue- Friends showing up with "Never Played"

I updated my iphone a week ago to 5.5.1. Since then, all my friends are listed under friends-recent. They show status text, but all of them say NEVER PLAYED. Although I know they are playing as I can see them ranked in individual games.
So it lost the ability to tell me what was the last game they played.
I have a iPhone4s

I have a Iphone 4 and a Ipod touch and it doesn't update what they recently played. This happens to you as well?

CoC & game center Issue

I would like to play my CoC both in my Ip6 plus & my ipad air, but I cant do it because the game center will take away my progress & will bring me back to level 8 which means wasting everything I've started. I'm sure you guys figure these things out before, so please guide me into this. I feel disappointed with the game center because it shows that it is not Pro apps users.

My wife's (separate) ITunes account has lost her game center account since the iOS 5 upgrade today. AppleCare wants $30 to talk to her, which is crap since it was working fine before the upgrade.
She can't log in to game center no matter what she tries. It requires her to create a new nickname, but she doesn't want to lose her old one.
Any help is appreciated.

Weird game center issue

I've got a question concerning the game center application respective the game center account system.
As a start i'd like to say that I've never created a game center account. Additionally i'm sure that noone else created one on my iPod.
Now to my question: I've started a game on my iPod last week. Everything worked as usual but then the game welcomed me with a message like "welcome back xxxxxxxx" (the name has been censored, though it did consist of a combination of letters as well as numbers). I don't associate anything with that combination, which also supports that I haven't created that account by accident. My iPod was in the airplane mode while that message appeared and i'm sure that it had no connection to the internet. Since I was kind of suprised when I saw that message I changed to the Game Center app, which said that I had a game center account connected to my Apple ID. I logged of that account. When I was back home I was curious wether I could reproduce that "bug" while being online. I opend the game center app and signed in with my Apple ID. This time it said I could create a new account. Nothing about that misterious account mentioned above. Hence i thought the problem was solved i stopped investigating the whole thing, but a few days after I had the same problem again (again while being offline).
My question is: Has anyone experienced something similar? How can I actually make sure whether my Apple ID is used in connection with an game center account? Is it possible that my iPod has a kind of virus creating that problem?

Game Center issue with Apple ID

My son suddenly cannot log in to Game Center. When he tries it tell him: "This Apple ID has not yet been used in Game Center. Tap Continue to set up your account." He has been using his Apple ID and Game Center account since Christmas 2011. He didn't log out but one of his games asked him if he wanted to log in and he tried and this happened, almost like his log in time expired
We tried different games, same thing happens.
We have tried turning it off and turning it back on.
He doesn't want to lose all of the things he has on Game Center so creating a new account isn't an option. I searched for answers and have come across several people having similiar issues since 2010 but there hasn't been a single answer from anyone.
If anyone has any ideas or experience with this and could help I would GREATLY appreciate it,

Yes. I have tried that. When I use the ID I had before, it sets it up as a new account and I don't want to lose my stats attached to my old account.
Let's say that my old nickname was "user10" and I used the email, "[email protected]" for my apple id. I changed my apple id to "[email protected]" and it changed my game center account to "mynew" and somehow I am friends with my old acct, "user10". I tried getting a password reset for "user10" but I apparently don't know my own birthday, which is possible because I usually give a false one, but the same false one each time.

Game Center Inviting Friends

Between an iPod Touch 4G and an iPhone 3GS runnning 4.1 - both have game Center and 2 of the same games (Blast4 and FleetMaster)
When we go into a game and click to Play Online, then chose a friend from Game Center and click on "Invite Friend", the friend gets a notification with Accept or Cancel, but when the other user clicks Accept nothing happens, and The Inviter's invite just says Waiting.... with the spinning logo.
Is this a game center problem or a specific game problem? Anyone have any ideas why?

Weird thing as well
-When I send out an invite --> my recipient never even receives an invite.
-When I am sent an invite from some one else --> I click accept, and just stuck with a waiting for so-and-so to start the game, and while sitting next to the friend who sent me the invite, all his screen showed was "waiting" for me to enter the game...
So annoying... any one know of any fixes? I already restored my phone... reinstalled Fruit Ninja countless times with no change..

2 Game Center Accounts on 2 iPads - with the same Apple ID. How to do that?

I really hope someone can help my daughter and I here...
The story: My daughter and I had an iPad each - naturally, since she is a minor, both iPads had the same Apple ID & password. In Game Center, we had separate Accounts (so we wouldn't mess up each others zoos and such), but with the same Apple ID. No problems so far.
Now, some lowlife burglar stole both our iPads... So I have bought new ones, one for me, and one for my daughter. She is thrilled to have her iPad back, and the games she have missed.
But oh no... Whenever she opens a game, the iPad launches "my version" of the game, with my Game Center nickname. I try to log her in with her nickname on her new iPad, but it is impossible - using the same Apple ID and password, it only shows my Game Center account. If I try to manage my account, or create a new with the exact same nickname she used on her old iPad, Game Center refuses to log on, because the "name is already taken" - Well I know it is taken, it is my daughters, but how to get it? It is like I know both the Apple ID, the password and both GCA names - but I have nowhere to type in "Game Center Account name" followed by the password...
I need help. I tell my daughter that there must be a solution, and her progress in her games are not lost; I can see them through MY Game Center account, so they are not deleted - but how to enter her part of the account is beyond my knowledge, so please, any ideas are welcome. You have the chance to make a little girl VERY happy :)

On the ipad that you wish to change the ID:
You can Erase all content and settings - that returns it to the "out of box" condition.
OR
Settings - iCloud - Delete account (It will ask if you want to keep contacts, calendars etc).
Settings - Messages - Tap AppleID - Sign out
Settings - Facetime - Tap AppleID - Sign out
Settings - iTunes and App store, tap apple ID, sign out.

Swiping up from the bottom of the screen with four fingers did not bring up the app preview. A single press on the home button still brings me back to the home screen, but a double press of the home button does nothing following updating to 7.1 Given that, when I added a software home button as suggested by DIAVONEX, I found that all of the apps WERE still open! So thank you DIAVONEX, and you should be careful, bobseufert, as your information was inaccurate.( I did try turning it off and that didn't change anything. ) I don't really want a software home button on my screen, but I guess I will use it until either there is another update to resolve this glitch or someone else identifies a quirky setting that I inadvertently activated...

Game Center issues on iPhone 4 - Won't connect/log-in

My account @ game center was working perfectly until suddenly i noticed a pop-up message kept appearing as i play "Hay Day" which says cannot connect to Game Center. As i log in to GC this msg appears: "Could not connect to game center service."
If i try to make a new account this msg appears: "Game center account services are currently unavailable. Please try again later."
I've tried reading forums and yes i tried resetting my phone, triple checking date and time but still I can't fix this issue.
Can anyone help me? Thanks...

PS. If anyone knows how to work Facetime & iMessenger on a jailbroken iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) openline using gevey sim technology, it would also be a big help as I abandoned the thought of how to make it work...

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
If still having issues...
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

HT4314 Game Center issue

I have a version of Game Center that doesn't have "requests" tab at bottom toolbar even though I've updated to latest iOS version. And it "won't allow me to play multilayer on (my) device." Any suggestions. Is it a setting I need to change somewhere? Help

Along with troubleshooting by logging out and back into Game Center, as it recommends, the following "Additional Information" might prove helpful:
If you are having difficulty logging in to Game Center or staying connected
Verify that you are connected to the Internet.
If you are unable to create or sign in to your Game Center account from within a game, try creating or signing in to your account using the Game Center app.
Try signing out of your Game Center account, then sign back in. If you can't sign in to your Game Center account with an Apple ID, try resetting your password or using another email address. To manage your Apple ID account, go to My Apple ID.
When using a Wi-Fi connection, verify that your Wi-Fi router is configured for Game Center.

Open the Game Center app.
Choose "Me" at bottom.
Scroll down
Tap "Account: [youremail]@[youremailprovider.com]
Tap "View Account"
Type in your password.
Scroll down.
Tap text field next under "Nickname."
Write a name that is not already in use.
Tap "Done" on top right.

Game Center issues. Please help!

I recently changed my Apple ID email to my gmail one because my other one got hacked. After switching it over everything ran smoothly except for my Game Center profile which would work occasionally, but now every time I try to sign out and sign back in my old Apple ID account keeps reappearing and I don't know why. Have shut down my iPad numerous times, but nothing has been working. Please help!

Another Game Center issue--Rise to Glory

I updated to ios7 on my iPad two days ago. Game Center removed all of my previous scores for Rise to Glory--though my data seems to still exist in RtG, since my icon remains in the leaderboards. How can I restore my scores?

Game center makes me sign in everytime I play a game

This used to not happen. I'm really unsure of what triggered it. When I used to play Clash of Clans or most other apps that used game center as soon as I launched the app, shortly after a banner would pop up and it would say "_vo_ signed in." Now this no longer happens. I will sit in the app for a while and then a game center prompt will appear covering my whole screen, and it will urge me to sign in.
I can now choose to sign in or cancel the process and return to what I was doing. If I choose to sign in, it will either load for a redicoulously irrational amount of time or finish signing in and return to the game. Now not only is this annoying because I have to do it every time, but going through the process doesn't even do anything. I can't even see any of my game center friends, which I could view prior to this problem occuring. I have re signed in to game center through the settings and I've tried launching the desired apps from the game center app, but none of the above seem to solve the problem. Please help me. It's annoying and I'd like to see my game center friends on this new 'Boom Beach' game lol.

It sounds like the Game Center is not saving your signin information and prompts you every single time you open a game to sign in. I recommend starting by signing out of the Game Center in Settings as you had done before. Then close all the running apps on your device:
iOS: Force an app to close
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Then sign back into Game Center and testing the issue.
