Game Center mixes up scores of multiple users (apple IDs)

(New iPad, iOS6 - all apps are up to date)
My son and I both have our own Apple ID.
When we play games in Game Center, we use our OWN ACCOUNT.
Still we get each other's scores & achievements.
Example:
Subway Surfers:
I log on to GC using my credentials, play the game (one or more times).
The I log out of GC.
My son logs on to GC using his credentials.
Subway Surfer shows my score, multiplier, achievements, and upgrades.
He plays the game, logs out.
Then I log on to GC using my credentials.
The results of my son playing the game is showing in my game.
Since this is not only the case in Subway Surfers but also in a few other games, my guess it is a GC-problem more then in the specific app.
We even tried closing the app(s) & GC by double clicking the home button,
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.
But this did not solve the problem.

It's got nothing to do with this problem has it?

  • Game Center - HELP!  I have multiple ID's with the same account

About a year or so ago I was syncing my iPad2, or updating the iOS...I can't remember...but for some reason the iPad forced me to create a new game center ID.  I now have two game center ID's (each with different friends, different profile pictures, etc.) under the same apple ID.  I have seen quite a few remarks that state it cannot happen, but rest assured it has happened to me.  Every now and then for some odd reason Game Center will log me in as the ID I originally used.  But for the most part it uses the one that I was forced to create a year ago.  I have no control over this.  And the iPad acknowledges this because when I have tried to open some apps it has told me "Game Center ID was changed..." blah blah blah and I have lost all my saved data on some games, including IAP's which has me so furious if this is not fixed I will never put a single penny of mine into any Apple product ever again.
Lately (since iOS 7.0.4 was released) I am having major problems with my apps crashing.  They lag, they freeze, they crash.  CONSTANTLY.  I think the fact that I have multiple game center ID's is somehow causing some sort of conflict, since I believe I ruled everything else out.
    Just for the record:
    1.  I have power-cycled my ipad (this solves the problem for about a day).
    2.  I have closed all apps running in the background.
    3.  I have reset my ipad (this solves the problem for about a day).
    4.  I have tried installing new apps to see if it resets how it accessess apps (I read this may solve crashing issues).
    5.  I have turned off my VPN, turned it back on, etc...
    6.  I have renewed my lease.
    7.  I have reset my internet (it's not the internet because all my other devices work just fine but I figured I'd try it anyway).
    8.  I am considering the possibility that the iPad2 is just dying, or going defective, for whatever reason (worn out I guess).  If that's the case I sure won't ever be buying another one.
So, all I would like to know at this point is: how can I delete one of these game center ID's?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
No, your ID is essentially your account. You can have email aliases and you can have multiple accounts, but I don't think that's what you are asking.

  • I created an apple id and password  on my laptop, will i be able to sign in the game center on my iphone using the same apple username and passcode or will i need to create a new one?

Can I use my appleID I created on my laptop to use the game center on my Iphone?

    Hi Sanfran49,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
You can use the Apple ID you created on your laptop with Game Center on your iPhone. See the Apple ID FAQs for more information:
An Apple ID is a user name you use for everything you do with Apple. Creating an account for an Apple service, such as the iTunes Store or the App Store, creates an Apple ID. Apple ID allows you to access other Apple services. You don't have to create a new account for each service—just use your Apple ID.
For a complete list of all of the places you can use an Apple ID, see Where do I use an Apple ID.

Can you sign-in to the My Apple ID site?
If you can, you might be able to sign into Game Center from a app that supports it.

  • Hello, I can not log into my Game Center, I somehow did not use my apple ID for the login, I know my username, its mojo100211, Is there anyway I can find my email?

Hello, I can not log into my Game Center, I somehow did not use my apple ID for the login, I know my username, its mojo100211, Is there anyway I can find my email?

Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. If you have any problems with that try this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

  • Game center account not working on multiple devices.

My game center account works fine on my iPad 2, but when I log in on my 3GS (after logging out on my iPad 2) my iPhone can't receive invites and invites that I send do not work when the other player accepts them, it just says "waiting" . All of my push notifications are turned on and I can play with random people online, but I can't play with friends or even receive invites from them. But if I log out of my iPhone and log in on my iPad the account works just fine.

    Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

  • How to I contact Apple about a support issue with Game Center--itself, directly. I changed my Apple ID and now I cannot access my game center account that I had previously. It created a new one for me with my new apple ID instead of keeping the old one.

I want to submit an issue with Game Center--itself, directly. I had an account set up that I used to play online games. I changed my appleID and then I no longer could access my game center account. I, apparently, had a new game center account created for me (which is friends with my old account) and now I cannot access my original game center account.
If I can't get access to email apple directly (which seems ridiculously difficult to do), then someone please tell me how to FIX the issue.
    Thank you

Yes. I have tried that. When I use the ID I had before, it sets it up as a new account and I don't want to lose my stats attached to my old account.
Let's say that my old nickname was "user10" and I used the email, "[email protected]" for my apple id. I changed my apple id to "[email protected]" and it changed my game center account to "mynew" and somehow I am friends with my old acct, "user10". I tried getting a password reset for "user10" but I apparently don't know my own birthday, which is possible because I usually give a false one, but the same false one each time.

  • Can you have two nicknames for game center for two kids linked to one Apple ID?

Can you have two nicknames in game center (for each child) linked to one email/apple ID?

On each of the phones you're gonna use a new Apple ID for iCloud: turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
This will have no affect on the ID you share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

  • Need advice on how to best approach Family Sharing, multiple devices, Apple IDs, etc.

My wife and I both have iPhone 5's (soon to be 6's) running iOS 8, I have an iPad (v2) running iOS 8, and my wife just got a MacBook Air (running Mavericks, soon to be Yosemite). We also have Apple TV (v2) running the latest OS. That's five Apple devices shared between a husband and wife (not counting my two-year-old's unsupported iPhone 4 used for kid games).
We have always just used the same Apple ID for everything. However, things are changing fast. We have both upgraded to iOS 8, we will soon be getting iPhone 6's, she now has a MacBook Air that will soon support Continuity, and we will purchase iCloud Drive storage for our iPhone 6's to free up photo/video storage space from our phones. We need to rethink and reorganize how we manage these devices because my wife does not want my email, iMessages, contacts, or Safari bookmarks showing up on her new MacBook, but she would like to use the upcoming Continuity feature.
In the perfect world, we would like the following: We would like to have separate: 1) email, 2) iMessages, 3) contacts, 4) Safari bookmarks, and 5) photos/videos. But we would like to have access to: 1) each others' backed up photos and videos stored on the new iCloud Drive, 2) iTunes, App Store, and iBooks Store purchases, and 3) a shared family calendar.
Right now, using the same Apple ID on all five devices, we are able to successfully do all of the above by setting up different email accounts on each device, by designating different phone numbers and email addresses on each device, etc. However, when my wife set up her new MacBook Air this morning, she told it to import Contacts from the Apple ID, but it looks like it imported everything from an old iCloud backup of my device. How can my wife totally integrate and sync her own iPhone and MacBook Air without getting the bookmarks, contacts, etc. from my iPhone? Is there a way to do this, whether through same/different Apple IDs, the new Family Sharing mechanism, or a combination of both? Any considerations or advice that I am not thinking of?
    Thanks so much,
    New At This
PS - I am very computer literate and can implement complicated solutions if necessary, but I am not familiar with any cross-device sharing options or even the OS X interface at all.

here's a mockup of sorta what I'm going for:

  • My older iPod Touch has music from another Apple ID, but I have had multiple other Apple IDs and I can't find out which ones they are from.  I would also like to know how I can copy the music and have it saved to my computer as an audio file.

So I have an iPod Touch, 2nd or 3rd gen., and it has music synced from multiple Apple IDs. I need to know how to copy that music as an audio file to save on my computer.

You can copy iTunes purchased from a device to your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases - if the account is authorised on your computer's iTunes then you should be prompted to authorise it when trying to copy them.
Or there are programs listed half-way down this page which can copy them back : Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
You can then add them to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library, again you should be prompted to authorise the account if it's not already authorised.
You can also find the account that a track is tied to be selecting/highlighting it in the My Music part of your library, or the Music section of 'OnMy Device' when you select the device, and doing 'get-info' (command-i) - it will show on one of the tabs on the popup

  • HT4314 Game center : I need to change my user name to another name when I use games with apple

Your support needs in this situation

Chaging your user name is easy. I can see you haven't upgraded to ios7, but that is okay.
Go to the gamecenter app> click your email> sign in> and scroll down until you see your user name> Then you can cahnge it from there.

  • Can one have multiple iCloud Apple IDs?

    Hello.
Would I automatically lose my current iCloud Apple ID if I signed up for a new one? And if the answer is ‘No’, what is the maximum number of iCloud email addresses that one can have?

You can create a new Apple ID and then iCloud account without affecting the original one. You can sign into additional iCloud accounts in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars so that the data appears alongside the primary account.
No limit to the number of accounts created this way has been stated, however any one Mac or device can create only three iCloud accounts (though once the limit is reached they can sign into another account created on another Mac or device). The three-account limit is tied to the hardware, not the user account, and cannot be bypassed.
Of course if all you want is additional addresses you can create three 'email aliases' on any one account - these are not accounts but extra addresses, messages to which are delivered to the same inbox as the primary address. More on aliases here - http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a490a
Note that once you have created an alias it cannot be moved to another account nor turned into an ID, even after deletion.

  • Multiple devices/Apple IDs & iTunes

I have iTunes on our PC, then we have 5 various iPods, 2 iPhones and an iPad - currently all with the same Apple ID. Can I give each device or each family member their own Apple ID, but all still use our iTunes library? Thanks

No.  Devices accessing your iTunes Match library will need to sign in with the ID the subscription is tied to.  Also, if other devices have already downloaded previously purchased media, or enabled automatic downloades, using a different Apple ID there is up to a 90-day wait period before they will be able to sign into the iTunes Match library (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 for details on this).

  • Multiple devices - apple ids

We have two ipads in our house, and want to share our apps.  Can we still have two apple ids, or do we have to share one?

You can have two ID's - but you can't share the apps. Apps can be shared as long as you all use the same ID. I have 5 iDevices and 3 computers all using the same Apple ID and my family shhares content across all devices and 3 computers for home sharing.
You can sign in and out of each other's accounts on the devices - but you run the risk of locking yourself out of your own ID for 90 days if you switch ID's and download with another ID.
