Game center muti account

I have an apple id (obviously) and can set up game center on my iphone4. Both my kids have ipod touches and can't have apple id's as they are minors. Hence the three of us seem to have to share the same identity on game center. Is there a way around this. I am also a mobileme member and set up alias emails for them and tried to use these to set up but also wouldn't work. Each of us would like to have our own identity on game center and hence track our own achievements. How can I get the kids to hqave there own id's on game center?

Are you running multiple apps and iCloud functions with two different apple ids? My iPhone works with a separate Apple id for Game Center and iMessage just fine. If you have a mac, try signing into Game Center with the new account in OS X.

Hi,
i recently started a Clash of clans village on my iPod and i'd like to connect to it via my girlfriend's iPod. The thing is she played a lot of games already on her iPod but she never created a Game Center account. What happens if i log with my account on her game center ? Will her game progress be erased since she got no account i can log back in after im finished ? Should i create her an account before loggin in with mine ? If i create her an account will all her game progress be erased or will it bind her games to this new account ?

It depends on the particular game. Some games store all data on the device and it's not linked to a GC identity, in which case no progress will be lost. Other games link all the data to the GC ID, especially ones that store the data on the game's servers. So, you'll need to check with the support folks for each game.

It looks like you have multiple Apple IDs (which are linked to Gamecenter). Try putting each of them one at a time in Settings>Gamecenter and loading COC after logging into one. Or if you have both devices, you can open CoC on the old one, you can use the option to transfer your village to a new device (I'm assuming you know where that is...you are a th8).

Try this:
1. Settings>Game Center>Log out of Game Center
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo
3. Log in to Game Center again

You said you restored your iPod. Did you restore from backup? If yu did then yur game progress and Game Center stuff should have beeb restored.

Okay so I figured out the solution by reading other discussions. Basically you need to delete on your phone the icloud account and start up a new icloud account with a new email address. This is nice because you can still share apps without getting everyone elses things. The only thing that didn't get worked out was the notes...
On your phone go to settings and then icloud, scroll down and delete the account. Then just make a new icloud under a new email.

Why do i have two game center accounts on one apple id and how do i log into the other one

Get a separate Apple ID for one of the phones. Or turn OFF iCloud contacts synching on the one you do not want contacts to synch.

that's the issue, you bought the OS online so Donald is right, it is being mailed to you. post the URL where you bought it.
the 'app store' is an application running on OSX itself where you can DL software.
so, you have to wait for mountain lion to arrive.
if you want to get a clean OS on your machine now, do this
reboot holding down command/option/R (hoping your machine supports this)
open disk utility, erase your HD so you have a single mac journaled partition
choose install OSX on this HD
let it run. from what you said, you will be back on lion.

I can't sign up for a game center account with my apple id email!

I have seen one entry about this already, but it didn't give an answer. I just got an iPhone and can use my apple ID to get apps just fine. But I can't create a Game Center account. In the other thread I saw about this, someone suggested to make sure your birth year is entered in your information. I've done that but it doesn't help.

Yes I did. I have created two with same apple ID. Just go to the game center and click on create new account. Choose the nickname you would like and your going to have it.

Answer: you MUST have multiple Apple ID accounts, however, you use the main one to log in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE.
1. I deleted the Alternate Email Address associated with my account
2. I created an entire new Apple ID with this email address
3. I login in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE with my original Apple ID (credit card on file)
4. I login to Game Center, iCloud, etc... with my kid's NEW Apple ID
So purchasing still goes under our shared account and game center, iCloud, etc... go under my kid's Apple ID.

How do I switch my clash of clans account with Game Center?

I'm logged into my dad's clash of clans account with Game Center and now I am trying to log in using my Game Center account but it's not letting me I have logged out of my dad's account on everything and logged into mine and I deleted the game and reinstalled it but it keeps going back to my dad's account how do I switch It over to mine?
