Game center: Need a way to delete games that are already uninstalled

There needs to be a way to delete games from the "Game Center" that have already been deleted off the phone.
I deleted a game and tapped "keep" instead of "remove" when it asked about the game center.
There needs to be a way to delete the game directly from the game center that doesnt involve reinstalling the game and then uninstalling it.
Anyone else think there needs to be a delete game from game center feature from the game center?

You can open up Game Center and go to your games and do a swipe to the right of the game you wish to delete off of Game Center. Now I just wish I knew how to do the same with deleting games off of Game Center from the Mac App Store...

There are different ways to delete depending how you have your iPod set to update. If you are updating automatically then delete the files from the iTunes library and next time you connect they will automatically be deleted from your iPod. if you are updating manually, connect your iPod and click on the icon when it shows in the iTunes source list. Find the files on your iPod that you want to remove, highlight them and delete directly. To select multiple items such as all the songs in an album, click on the first track in the list hold down the shift key and click on the last track to highlight the selection. Then press the delete key.
To summarise, you start by highlighting the song/video/selection in either the iTunes library or on the iPod song list as displayed in iTunes then press the delete key on your keyboard: Deleting songs or playlists from your iPod
There is also a couple of ways that do not involved deleting the files permanently from iTunes. The default iPod setting is automatically update with iTunes when connected. You can keep the automatically update setting and select the "Only update checked songs" option in the iPod Preferences.
When unchecking a song in iTunes, it will not be updated to the iPod and if already on the iPod, unchecking the song in iTunes will remove it from the iPod during the next update with iTunes.
Another is to set your iPod to "automatically update selected playlists only" then all you need to do is remove the song from the playlist and update, it remains in your library should you want to add it in future.

I have a huge book with a lot of photos. When I drag the text in, the photos come in also, but they are all moved around. Is there any way to import the text in and have the photos not move around and stay where they're supposed to be?

Is there a way of deleting initiators which are already tied to requests? We would like clear the system of all initiators if this is not possible is there a way around it! We would like to use attributes assigned to those initiators in new initiators.

Hi there,
it is possible to delete initiators!
- find the path the initiator you want to delete is tied to
- edit the path and check the "detour" box and deactivate the "active" box
- save the path without an initiator (detours don't need initiators)
- now you can delete your initiator
What is not possible is to delete the path (only when deleting the requests with the mentioned script).

How is Apple ignoring their customers, exactly? If you don't want Game Center, why did you sign into it?
Sign out, launch an enabled game. Game Center pops up, close it, launch the game again, it pops up, close it again.
Now it doesn't pop up any longer.
All as documented.

What happens to Game Center if I have the same game on my iPad and my iPhone?

I have an iPhone and an iPad on the same Apple ID. I have a few games on my iPhone that I would like to play on my iPad too. I would like some information on what will happen to my Game Center profile if I download these games to my iPad too.
Will the game progression, achievements, and leaderboard position on my iPhone be synced with my iPad (so I could continue from where I left off on my iPhone)?
If the the answer to the question above is no:
Will the games recognize what achievements I have earned already?
Will the games recognize my leaderboard positions?
Will the progression on my iPhone be deleted and moved to my iPad?

This link is for profile settings I have a iPad and iPhone with the same Apple ID, but on Game Center I have used the same id for both devices and they are two different profiles and I was wondering how to have one of the accounts on both devices.
I couldn't find anything else using google.
You may need to just test out one app and see what happens.

My game center won't connect to the game I'm trying to play and what is happing is the game would come one. But when its loading it will stop right in the middle of it and won't do anything. I had restrictions turned on for the kids. I turned it off. Went to GC and it opened and I could log in. I went back to settings and turned the restrictions back on. Worked for us!

The apps aren't stored in your personal iCloud account and don't use any of your storage. They are only stored in the App store. The iCloud symbols are only links to your previous purchases in the App store so you can download them again. If you don't want to see certain apps, you can hide them in iTunes on your computer as explained here: iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. Once hidden in iTunes, you should no longer see them on your phone.

It's my understanding that an iPhone can only sync with one computer. You need to choose one computer. Sounds like it syncs at work, but not at home. If you want to just sync it at home, then you have to make sure the home computer has all the info that you want on it, like music etc. Then you have to deauthorize the work computer for it to sync at home. When you connect it will ask if you want to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup. If you don't have a backup on the home computer then either way you will be wiped clean. So any photos, contacts, notes etc you have will be erased. You would need to backup or copy your photos from your iPhone. When you connect it to your home computer, it will give you that popup message to open your iPhone files. Then you can copy those photos and save them onto your computer and sync them back in through iTunes.
For your contacts, do you use any type of address book? If so you'll want to back that up and then transfer to your home computer. For notes, you can just email those to yourself and then save that email. I use MobileMe so the contacts issue is easily resolved.

Best approach to delete records that are not in the source table anymore.

I have a situation where I need to remove records from dimensions that are not in the source data anymore. Right now we are not maintaing history, i.e. not using SCD but planning for the next release. If we did that it would be easy to figure the latest records. The load is nightly and records are updated and new added.
The approach that I am considering is to join the dimension tables the the sources on keys and delete what doesn't join. However, is there perhaps some function in OWB that would allow to do this automatically on import so it can be also in place for the future?

Bear in mind that deleting dimension records becomes problematic if you have facts attached to them. Just because this record is no longer in the active set doesn't mean that it wasn't used historically, and so have foreign key constraints on it in your database. IF this is the case, a short-term solution would be to add an expiry_date field to the dimension and update the load to set this value when the record disappears rather than to delete it.
And to do that, use the target dimension as a source table, outer join it to the actual source table on the natural key, and so your update will set expiry_date=nvl(expiry_date,sysdate) to set to sysdate if this record has not already been expired on all records where the outer join fails.
Further consideration: what do you do if the record is re-inserted into the source table? create a new dimension key? Or remove the expiry date?
But I will say that I am not a fan of deleting records in most circumstances. What do you do if you discover a calculation error and need to fix that and republish historical cubes? Without the historical data, you lose the ability to do things like that.

Playlists are just files with pointers. If you have a song on multiple playlists that doesn't mean the song is copied twice. Any instance of a song in playlists just points to the single file it syncs over.
If you have not synced in a while however and the song is already on the phone there is a chance it has been a while and with changes made with each iTunes update or iPhone iOS update, they may have changed the logic of the playlists files or how it manages and organizes the file structure, thus it may be needed to update (resync) some of your files. That is just an educated guess.
What I mentioned first still applies, songs are only copied once even if on multiple playlists. Regular syncing helps keep things fresh and up to date and yes at times there are changes to the process that may cause extra sync time to redo some things an updated way.

You cannot drag pics from computer to iphone. This has never been a feature of iphone.
You sync them as you would anything esle.
You select photos from the photos tab. Whatever is selected will be on your iphone. Anything not selected will not be. Make sure that everything you want on your iphone is selected, then sync.

The ID Program folder will be relevant to your OS...
I took a shot and right clicked on my Scripts Samples, choose reveal in Explorer and opened up the ID Program folder.
As shown, there is a Fonts folder.
Drag/Copy/Paste fonts to this folder.
