Game download

I purchased Deus Ex: Human Revolution, a 16GB game. The game got downloaded 6GB and after that downloading restarted from zero!
There were no interuptions such Internet getting disconnected or my laptop going to sleep (I changed the power settings).
Is there a way to speed up the download?

Again today the download restarted automatically at 4.7gb!! Please help. Since I have paid by credit card and the game be sent on a cd/dvd to me instead of me downloading it?

In system preferences, create a new account again, using the short name of the "deleted" account. You may be prompted to re-use the old home folder. Log out and log in to test it worked. Then log in as your new admin, and do the delete process again. Don't choose to securely delete this time - just a regular delete.
When you have time to spare, go to Disk Utility, and use the Erase tab to securely erase free space on the drive. This will accomplish the same thing that your originally tried to do. Use the fastest method - anything more secure is a waste of time. You may need to run it overnight - it can take several hours.

To try and stop it happening again you can use Settings > General > Restrictions on the device to prevent in-app purchases being made, and you might (depending upon its iOS version) also have a 'Require Password' option on the Restrictions screen that you can set to 'Immediately' so that your account's password has to be entered for each download from the store.

TS1702 I am not getting any sound from any of my games downloaded

I have several games downloaded from the App Store on my IPad such as Wheel of Fortune, Angry Birds, etc. There is no sound even though the sound button is on in each of these applications.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Unable to purchase game tokens for games downloaded under old Apple ID

My old email account was high jacked and then my apple account. i cancelled the credit card on file and created a new Apple ID. I could not recover control of the old account because the password, security questions and birthdate were changed. Now, I cannot purchase game tokens for games downloaded under the old account. Any ideas?

You'll have to redownload the game(s) using your new ID.

you cant put games downloaded from itunes on the ipod nano.
and no im sure you cant get a refund, as itunes clearly states in the games section of itunes that games are only playable on the 5th gen ipods with software 1.2

I wanna download Java Games (jad/jar) on mobile device and tracking its download statuses.
I am sending link of .jar file via SMS WAP PUSH, so when i click link from mobile, it downloads the jar file. Its working fine. Now i am looking for help:
1) 1st of all is it correct method to upload .jar file and send direct link via WAP PUSH so user can download content(Game) on mobile ?
2) Important: I wanna track the download statuses e.g Game downloaded sucessfully or Carrier problem or Memory Full etc

Instead of sending a link to the jar, send a link to the jad. In the jad you can add an attribute with an address to post to when the MIDlet is successfully installed:
MIDlet-Install-Notify: http://someaddress.comWhen the MIDlet is installed the phone should make a post to that address.

Game download - can't get it onto ipod using Mac

I recently downloaded a game for my Ipod from a website but cannot figure out how to get it on my ipod because the instructions are for a windows computer and I have a mac. the instructions ask me to go to my ipod drive so that i can drag the file in. I cannot figure out where it is. Itunes opens automatically but I assume you can access the ipod in another way so e.g. you can use it like a flash drive to transfer files that aren't music or video. Does anyone know how I can access the ipod in any way that isn't through i tunes. Thanks.

Game Download Problem on 9700

Hello,
I recently (48 hours ago) purchased a new BB Bold 9700. I previously had a BB Pearl. I transferred all the information through the Desktop Manager without a hitch...however...I ran into a problem when trying to download my favorite game. Here is the situation:
I had previously downloaded "Bejeweled" from EA (through BB Apps) onto my Pearl and was playing it regularly. I am now trying to download it onto my new 9700 and it is: 1)not showing up in "My World" under BB Apps and therefore I cannot download it, and 2) will not even let me re-purchase the game. I get the following error message when simply trying to purchase the game again:
"There were problems completing this purchase. Please contact Blackberry App World customer support. Error ID 3300."
I am able to purchase other EA games through BB Apps though.
Has anyone ever had this problem?

Hi There,
I hope this is the right place to post something like this, but I was on the forums back in December and needed advice on how to make executable .jar files, and now that I figured it out successfully, I wanted to share it with some fellow computer programmers in here.
I have created four games programmed in the JAVA language, and they are all based on television game shows, including SUPER PASSWORD, BLOCKBUSTERS, SCRABBLE, and LINGO.

Game Download gone

I amde a download this week from App Store (via Iphone) and downloaded (after payment) Monopoly and Crash Kart bandit
When I sync this up with my computer, and then unplug this the games do not open up / cant play- Do you know why?

I also have downloaded the Monopoly application and it won't open. When i select it on my iphone it just flashs up and automatically closes again. I have tried everything to try and get it to work.
I have deleted Monopoly and re-downloaded it, I have deleted it from my iphone and re-synced it, I have turned off my phone and turned it on again, I have delete all other applications and just tried to put Monopoly on my phone, I have restored my whole phone, I have called Apple support and they told me to try all of these above things and more, nothing seems to get it to work. i have tried everything i can think of.
Any ideas?

Turns out it doesn't want to work. So i am trying to uninstall/delete this game, but i don't know how.
