Game of Thrones on iTunes

Ok, so as of last year, Foxtel purchased exclusive rights to airing Game of Thrones in Australia. Before that, people could purchase the season pass off of iTunes and watch episodes as they came out. Today I found out that you can buy the entire season 5 of Game of Thrones for $33 on June 16. My question is, how much would Apple need us to pay, in order to go back to pre-2014? Even if the HD season pass was $50, it would still be significantly cheaper than a Foxtel subscription, so why won't iTunes budge and give us this option back? Come on Apple, us Australian Apple fans want you to step up and end this monopoly Foxtel has over us. Please?

Go to the Music section of your Library (very top-left corner) and see if your songs are there. The "Purchased" playlist may have been deleted or gotten corrupted, but if that happens it's not a big deal because your music should still be in your main Music Library.
If your music is NOT in the Music section of your Library, then go to the iTunes Store homepage and find the Quick Links list on the right side. At the top of that list, click Purchased and you can redownload all of your previous content that you might have lost.

I am trying to download the new episode of Game of Thrones on my iPad. We are currently travelling in Italy and have an unlimited pre- paid data plan with the Italian carrier Wind. When I try download the episode through iTunes I get an error message

Has been working excellent, but when I try to download a new episode of Game of Thrones, I get an error message which says that I have to connect to a wi fi network or download the episode on my MacBook. Why can't I download using the microsim and prepaid data plan? Any help will be great thank you!

Unfortunately downloads larger than 20mbps require wifi due to most carriers having data limits. This "requirement" keeps people who are not familiar with data and what takes up a lot of data from going over.

No one knows for sure, but if they follow the same model as they did for Season 1, then Season 2 should be out around the first week of December 2012.

Complete Your Season question re Game of Thrones

I've bought two episodes of Game of Thrones Season 1 through iTunes and would like to take advantage of the Complete Your Season offer.
But whilst I can see the series I want listed under Complete Your Season and I can see that two of the episodes have been downloaded, it is not showing a reduced price?
Anyone have any ideas about this? Thank you (from an Apple newbie).

Can't find my Game of Thrones episode that I purchased from Apple TV.

I recently purchased an episod of Game of Thrones from my Apple TV. As I began to stream the episode, my internet black out causing my stream to stop. When the internet came back up. The episode was not listed under my purchased content. I looked in iTunes, but the only evidence of having purchased the episode is my receipt and on the show's page on iTunes which shows that I have purchased the episode. The episode is nowhere to be seen in my purchase history.

It seems that no one has loaded this weeks Game of Thrones in HD. If you go to on demand, it is offered in SD twice. When can we expect this to be corrected?

What country are you in ? They appear to be in the US store (George R Martin's books), and here in the UK (books). If they are not available in English in your country's store then you can try leaving feedback for Apple, but ultimately it's the book's publisher that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it in English there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Season pass not working for Game of Thrones Season 4

I purchased the season pass for season 4 of Game of Thrones, but all I am getting is the behind the scenes videos but no episodes. This is the only show for which I am having this trouble. I have tried using both the MacBook Pro and the Apple TV devices with no joy. Is there an issue with this program or are the episodes simply not yet released?

Not sure which country you are in but I purchased the Season some months ago in the UK and have viewed all episodes.
If you are outside the US it is possible episodes are not available yet - contact iTunes Store support to check - available episodes however would normally list in iTunes:

A refund may not be possible since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you. Unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Is game progress saved by game center and/or itunes?

i have a question about the game center games. we have an ipad with the smurf game on it that is having problems in the game. on multiple occasions we have had an error message pop up saying the time on the ipad is incorrect; we back out of the game check the time and it is always the right time. every time this happens it messes up the timing of things in the game (ie. crops that should be done revert back to a previous 'time' and still have tons of time until they are done - as if no time has lapsed in the game). we took the ipad to the apple store just to make sure there wasn't something else wrong with the ipad and we were only noticing it in the smurf game. they told us everything is fine with the ipad and have we tried to delete the game and reinstall it. i am prepared to do this but the ipad and the game are my mom's (i have my own ipad and never have had this issue) and i do not want to delete her game if all of her progress is going to be lost. if we delete the game and reinstall it will we be able to access her current progress through either game center or her itunes account? we synced the device again last night to her itunes account so all the information should feasibly be backed up there. our only concern is that a. she doesn't want to start back over at level one and b. she has used money/credit from an itunes card to purchase some extra smurfberries and we don't want to lose that data.

Since iCloud seemed to have worked as intended going from my iPhone to my iPad (but not the other way around), I assume that my iCloud app data has been overwritten to the old game save my iPhone was at.
No matter what I do, the iPad version of the game is still only pulling up the dated iPhone save.
What I'm really wondering is why the iPhone version did not attempt to grab the latest save from iCloud. Instead, it opted to use whatever save just happened to be stored on the phone first and used that to overwrite the iCloud app data with.
I guess this is more of an app specific issue, but I'm not entirely clear on what aspects of iCloud are handled by the operating system as opposed to app specific implementations.
