Game Won't Sync!

I bought Song Summoner last night for my 5th Gen iPod and I can't get it to sync to my iPod. I have it set to managing my songs and videos manually since I have a few other games that I purchased two years ago on it which aren't in my current iTunes library.
Is there any way to get the Song Summoner on my iPod without erasing the others. Or is there a way I can get my old games off and then put them back on so I won't lose them?
Thanks!

I am having the same problem it says some bull **** about the game being erred so i bought it again but it still wont work can anyone help me??

  • Game won't sync with nano 4th gen

I bought iQuiz to my nano 4th gen and it clearly says that it is compatible with it, but it just won't sync. It won't even show up in the games tab. I've updated to the newest iTunes and I've updated the software on the nano but it still won't work.
What could I be doing wrong?

Does anyone from Apple ever read these forums and
offer support/help? It seems like this is more of
    a
forum to voice problems and have others second the
issues. At least I know there are others with the
same problem but none of us can seem to fix it.
Have you guys tried resetting your nano settings
    and
then tried to load the calendar at that point?
    That
is my next attempt at a solution.
I'm sure they don't WANT to read all these postings. I phoned for support for exactly this problem, and I was told in no uncertain terms that Apple "does not support this feature of the Nano Gen.2, or iTunes 7.0 software."
So who DOES support it? Certainly not Microsoft!

  • Mahjong game won't Sync

I recently purchase a 80G 5th gen. IPOD. I purchase Mahjong. It is there in my list on Itunes, got the e-mail stating I purchased it, doesn't show up on "my IPOD" and won't Sync. Granted I am new to this Ipod but I have never had any problems like this syncing music w/ my Nano, what gives?

  • Games won't sync

I have tried to download Lego Ninjago from the Apple store directly onto my iPad 1 and it won't go. I downloaded onto my computer, but will not sync onto my iPad. I am pretty savvy, but do not understand why I click for it to sync under applications, but then it's not on my iPad.
I have searched and searched but can not find any reason why it shows in my list of Apps, but when I click to sync it.... Nada.
    Please help.

    Just thinking...
Make sure the app is checked to sync in the app list.... yep done that myself :~)
Just to check that the app hasn't been synced to a different page or folder.
While the iPad is connected to your computer, selected & showing the apps on the left.... Double click the app you are tying to sync which will show you where it is on your iPad.
Running a search on the page before your home page on the iPad would do the same.

  • 5g Games Won't Sync to Classic

    Hey guys,
I just bought an 80gb iPod classic after using a 5g iPod video for a couple of years, and the games I purchased for the first iPod aren't syncing with my new one.
    Help?

I filed a complaint with the iTunes store--from previous posts, it seems like this is a common problem.

  • Games won't sync... Help.

Bought Peggle game for my 3rd gen. Nano. Shows up in the Itunes library under Ipod Games, but when I choose to sync the game, I get.. "iTunes could not sync the game "Peggle" to "xxx's ipod" because the game could not be found."
I can see the game on my hard drive. I have tried deleting it from iTunes and adding it again, same error. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just figured it out you have to plug in your iPod and when the little icon appears in the toolbar on the left click it now you should see the screen with a pic of your iPod and the thing that says check for updates and restore.....now look above the pic of your iPod up where the tabs are and click the one that says games then click the box that says sync games then click the box that says selected games now chose the games you want to sync and click the apply button in the bottom right corner and it will sync your games... • Games won't sync, ipod insists on automatic sync

I had some work done on my PC and the tech reformatted the hard drive after backing up my itunes library. After the library was reinstalled from backup, I downloaded and re-installed the latest version of itunes.
Unfortunately, when I connected my Ipod, it immediately tried to synch with the library. It gave me an error on the 4 games I had : PacMan, Sodoku, Tetris and Vortex. They have been deleted from my iPod and I can't get them to load back on.
The reason given is "Unknown Error -39".
How do I put these games back on my ipod? I also don't understand why it is automatically sync-ing every time I connect up either when I have all the check boxes set to allow me to manually sync. Please help.

Although I'm not 100% certain, this might have something to do with Windows Fast User Switching. Go to to control panel/user accounts/change the way users log on and off, and disable fast user switching. Can't hurt to try.

  • Older Games won't work...

I have Zuma and Musika, which I bought for my older 5.5 gen Video Ipod.
I recently bought a Classic and the games won't sync to it. I looked in the iTunes games store and they indicate only a couple of games are compatible with the Classic.
Is Apple going to update these games so they work on the Classic or are they just going to screw me out of my games?
Does anyone know the email for this type of support?

True. I helped them get even more richer this week by spending $350 on the Complete Bob Dylan and the Complete U2. Great stuff there. Apple is supposed to be making money and there is nothing wrong with that.
Next generation iPods will require new games then too.

  • Games and purchases won't sync after upgrade to itunes 8.1.1.10

    Hi,
I've just upgraded to itunes 8.1.1.10 (because itunes asked it when I started it up), but since then it has been behaving rather strangely.
First, itunes claims my computer is no longer autorised. However, when I try to re-autorise him, I just recieve a message saying it is already.
When I synced my ipod, all my purchased songs and games disappeared from it (I guess because itunes somehow still thinks the pc isn't autorised).
I tried to re-sync the games, but now he's started to optimalise my 8000 photos, but the games refuse to sync.
Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this? tia

When you look at the capacity bar at the bottom of iTunes when the iPad is connected to your computer, the iPad is selected and iTunes is running, what does the storage for "other" read? How much of "other" data is there?
Have you tried ejecting the iPad, quitting iTunes, reboot the computer and reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then try again?
You could also try updating iTunes. It looks like you are running an older version.

  • My music won't sync from computer to ipod

My music( 234 songs, no videos or movies) won't sync from my computer to my ipod. This is really annoying and I had 42 songs on my ipod, knew I was missong 90 or so songs, synved it and checked my ipod...19 songs. I was so annoyed. It is not about space because the songs take up 1.18 gb and I have 1.71 gb left. Please help because I am getting to that stage where it is not about games but songs.!

Do you have any Restrictions set that would prevent sysncing those songs? Settings>General>Restrictions
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Games won't open, keep getting message that it can't connect to Games Center even when opened thru same; reset and reboot not help; any suggestions?

I keep getting messages that the games cannot connect to the game center.  Even when I try to open using the "play" incon in the Game Center, I get the same message.  The message refuses to do anything when I press either "cancel" or "retry,", it just sits there and the game won't open when it appears.
I have tried resetting the IPad, turning it off/on; re-syncing, etc., and nothing seems to work.   Can any one suggest a way to get the stupid Game Center message to close or some other method to open the game?
    Thanks.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    See:
    * [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
    * [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    * Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
    * Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

  • New iPad2 5.0.1 and Snow Leopard 10.6.8 = some apps just won't sync??

I restored it (2 or 3 times - using "New config" each time) and chose my apps one by one (didn't select "Automatically sync all apps"), but some (free) apps won't sync at all. Any tips?
I'm planing on upgrading to Lion this weekend; do you think it will solve my problem?
Thank you very much for your help!

Sorry if I wasn't clear the first time (as I mentioned, I speak French (Canada), so I have to translate everything + my iPad is configured in French... )
What I have on my iPad is an "Apple Store" icon - but if I open it, I don't see a section for Apps (from what I remember - I'm at work now and don't have the iPad with me - I can access music, books, purchases, downloads and a few other options, but no Apps).
This is very new to me since living in the U.S. we have an App Sore on the iPad that sells apps, games and things like that. We alos have an itunes Store for music and TV shows and a book store in an app called iBooks.

I always download using iTunes on my iMac, and then sync everything manually (I didn't select the "Automatically sync" option for anything - apps, music, books, videos or pics). I see all the apps (57 total) in iTunes and all the boxes are checked to be synced, but for some reason, a few apps have decided not to sync...
It sue souned like you are doing what you are supposed to be doing. This method is fine for syncing the apps and it should work for you. I do not suto sync either. I never have.
The only thing I can think of is that, as I mentioned, I restored my iPad a few times already and used "Config as new iPad" (how fun THAT was!!). Then, I selected manually the apps to be synced (i.e. all of them) and pressed "Sync" (all this through iTunes / iPad folder and Apps tab) and the apps started to download... but then, as the apps were loading, I went to the Books tab and selected the books I wanted to sync and press "Apply".... Could it be that I should have waited for the apps to load completely before changing tab (videos, books, musoc, etc.)?
This may have messed up the sync because you had already clicked on sync and the you changed the configuration with the books and you clicked on Apply.
Why don't you try to sync agan? Select the apps and then click on sync. But If you have to select the apps again in iTunes - the sync button should turn into the apply button because having to select the apps changes the configuration. Any time you change the configuration you must apply the changes.
Also, do you think it will work better if I upgrade my iMac to Lion?
Sorry for asking so many questions, but I'm new to iPad and Apps, so....
This should all work the way you are doing it now. Lion should have nothing to do with this. No need to apologize for the questions. That is why this help site exists - to answer questions!
