Gamecenter crashes when an app in "My Games" is clicked

Game Center keeps crashing when I select a game from "My Games". Game Center account type is kids' account. I have an iPad 3.

No, you should be able to do File > Transfer Purchases to copy any purchases from the iPad to your computer's iTunes - and if for some reason that doesn't work you should be able to re-download it for free (as long as it remains available in the store and you use the same iTunes account) : re-downloading

    Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...
Note:   Also consider Deleting any Apps you have Purchased / Downloaded but you now never use...

  • My iPhone 3Gs has started crashing when using apps once the battery gets down to around 80%.

My iPhone 3Gs has started crashing when using apps once the battery gets down to around 80%. Sometimes it will reboot on its own, and other times you have to leave it for an hour or so and then manually turn the phone on again. Any ideas?

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again?
If this does not work, try to save as much data as you can and set it up "as new device": How to back up your data and set up as a new device

    configurator crashes when importing apps

Is there anything interesting the Console.app at the time of the crash? Have you sent the crash log to Apple?
There was nothing that indicated a problem to me.  I ended up calling AppleCare Enterprise (it's free for the Apple Configurator program), and after going through quite a large number of different steps, it was suggested that I do a clean stall and restore.  I did that and the problem was gone.  This computer was set up by out IT group by imaging, and there must be something in the configurayion that they used that was wrong for this computer.

  • Xcode crashes when attempting App store export or submission from Organizer

    Hello,
I'm having problems submitting to the App Store.  Both Xcode 6.1 and 5.1.1 crash when I attempt to export an .ipa or use the submit feature after the app has been archived.  Here are the steps to reproduce:
Build -> Archive -> Organizer -> Export -> Save for iOS App Store Deployment
The "Fetching list of teams..." dialogue appears briefly and then Xcode crashes.  This also occurs when clicking the Submit button on the Organizer window.  This also occurs for Ad Hoc exports.  This is odd as I was able to create an ad hoc distribution a few days ago without issue.
I am also unable to select the Team attribute for the target in the project files general settings (General -> Identity -> Team).
I have double checked the developer center to ensure that I have an App Store provisioning profile for this app.  I have also read of people having a similar issue if they had not agreed to the latest developer center terms.  As far as I can tell, I don't have any outstanding agreements that require action.
    Thanks,
    Chris

This was an issue with the Developer Portal that was rectified by Apple.  No intervention is necessary for Xcode users.

  • Compressor Crashes When Moving App Window

    Compressor v3x
I'm having an issue where Compressor will crash when I'm moving the app's window around the desktop. Nothing special going on - just regular work. Setting a QT to compress. Just as soon as I move the window around - bam it crashes to the desktop.
    Compressor related or something different?
I've got all the recent updates applied.
    Thanks!

The only reason to suspect the OS is if moving windows in other applications causes the same crash.
Sorry not to be of more help, I've only seen crashes by touching windows in a few apps. ONe that bugs the crap out of me these days is Microsoft Entourage for the Mac, part of the Office 2008 suite. Not all the time, but sometimes, which makes debugging it impossible, touching the pullout device in the lower right of the app's main window will crash the application.
This is not related to anything except Microsoft's application, but that's just my isolated case; the same app on an identical Mac does not crash.

  • MSI R9 270X GAMING OC crashing when leaved alone with 3D games in background

    Hello,
Sometimes when leaved alone with 3D games in background the screen get lost with vertical and horizontal green lines that I think indicate hardware failure. The system become unrecoverable and need an hard reset. I haven't touched absolutely nothing since I'm not an overclocking guy having had bad experiences in the past.
Can a BIOS update help the situation? I found a BIOS over the net (from TechPowerUp):
    Filename:    MSI.R9270X.2048.131105.rom
    Version:    015.041.000.000.002887
    Build date:    2013-11-05 03:50:00
    Date added:    2013-11-22 04:25
    MD5 Hash:    d8ff128cbaf4865d9efe299e0a9af0a0
Is it really compatible with mine card? Moreover the utility ATIWinflash indicates that the old BIOS image size is 0x10000 when the new one is 0x20000.
Other informations available on mine hardware:
    DeviceID - 0x6810
    Tipo di flash - W25X20
    VBIOS corrente CRC - 0X5D00

also save and upload your current vbios somewhere and give a link to it
and list full and detailed system specifications, read >>Posting Guide<<

  • IPhone 5 w/iOS 6.0 (10A405) crashes when moving apps

Not sure what the offending problem might be, but was wondering if anyone else is having this issue too?
I have the new iPhone 5 64GB AT&T version of the iPhone.  Currently I have 246 apps installed on the iPhone which takes about 9GBs of storage and 6 home screens.  My problem is when I move an app icon from one home screen to another it will crash the phone and the iPhone will restart.  It doesn't matter if the app has the "new" banner or not.  If I move it across to more than one home screen it will crash.  If I move it to one home screen over, it doesn't crash.
Could it be a bad application installed or an inherit bug within iOS 6?  I found another person with this same issue on another forum.

  • MacBook keeps crashing when I try to play games.

For quite a while now my MacBook has been crashing randomly when I try to play any sort of game. I'm planning on taking it in to get repaired once I'm done with my summer classes for college. Until then I was wondering if anyone knows what might be causing the issue. Thanks in advance for any help.
Here is an error report I get when I reboot it:

Could be heat related. Games tend to run up the temps on notebook computers. Make sure you are doing everything possible to allow the normal cooling funcitons to work to the fullest:
no running it in your lap or on  pillow or blanket without using a lapboard.
no blocking the hinge area ion the back edge of the case
if using an external monitor, leave the built-in display open; "clamshell mode" traps heat.
Also use Activity Monitor to check for overactive background processes. Quit any user apps before running this test. Be sure to set its Show window to "All processes," and highlight the "%CPU" column to sort by CPU usage. Watch the list for about a minute--it's dynamic--and note any processes that consistently use more that 15-20 percent of the cycles.
Try turning off Dashboard. Restart and don't invoke any widgets; see if things are better. If so, then you need to guit Dashboard after using a widget. I use the widget DashQuit 3.0 to turn off all the widgets after use. Any widget that gets its info from the network can use up resources.

  • OpenGL glClear crash when starting app

In our game we use OpenGL for rendering. Sometimes app randomly crashes just after starting when calling this method first time:
    glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT | GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT);
We are making call of this method before rendering the game scene. Here's the stack trace of crash:
    0 Crashed: com.apple.main-thread EXC_BAD_ACCESS KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000000a4

    5 libGPUSupportMercury.dylib gldLoadFramebuffer + 110
    6 GLEngine gleUpdateDrawFramebufferState
    7 GLEngine glClear_Exec + 164
We don't have any idea why this crash may appear.
    Does anybody encounter similar issue?
    Thank you for the help.

It is possible that OSX 10.6.8 is too advanced for FCE 3.5 to work.
Ideally you should be using FCE 4.
You could try deleting FCE completely and reinstalling.
The easiest way to delete it correctly is to use FCS Remover available free from here:-
    http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcs_remover.htm
However, be sure to deselect Soundtrack and LT as you don't want to waste time reinstalling them.

  • IPad randomly crashing when using apps.

    Hello everyone,
I have had a 3G 64Go iPad for almost two months by now, and it has never had any physical damage.
The problem I am experiencing is that it keeps crashing randomly when I use apps, especially with "big" apps that require more from the system (it will not crash if I use iBooks or if I watch a film, but there are plenty of games that I cannot launch because they are in 3D).
I restored the whole firmware, but it does not change anything.
(The iPad even crashes very often when I sync it with the MacBook)
I am beginning to wonder if there is not an internal hardware problem, because I really have no idea about where the problem comes from, and it is beginning to be a bit annoying to have an iPad that you can almost only use to check your mail or listen to music !
I would like to know if anybody has had the same kind of issue and found a solution, and what I should do about this.
Thank you very much for your help !

Thank you for your answer Carolyn !
I am going to restore the iPad according to your instructions, but I do not think that this is caused by an app in particular.
I forgot to mention it in the first post, but this has happened from the day I got it; I synced it to my laptop, and since I was in an area with no wifi around by the time, I only put one app onto my iPad, it was the iPhone version of a game, that has crashed several times, just the way it does now with other apps.
I was surprised but did not really worry back then. The app is no longer on the iPad (it's been on the iPad for a few days only) and even if it had been the one causing all the crashes, it has been removed and the device has been restored since, so I don't get how it could have kept the problem...
I also forgot to say that, when my iPad crashes, there is a kind of "white stripe" across the screen for a fraction of second, then it reboots (and often crashes again as soon as it has finished rebooting); I even had a really weird screen once, which made me worry, with white lines of program written across the reboot screen (the black one with the apple logo in the middle), and I remember the last line said "Panic: we are hanging here..." !
(I took a picture of the screen, if it helps...)
    I don't think I forgot anything more.
I am going to try to restore it the way you told me anyway, and see if it helps, but I do not have much hope !
Thank you very much for your answer though, I will feedback as soon as I am done restoring it, and I keep waiting for your advice in the meantime.

  • ITunes 12 crashes when syncing apps with iPhone 4

Does anyone know the solution to this issue, I know it has been around for ages and I can not find anywhere anyone who has resolved this.
When I try to sync my iPhone 4 apps with iTunes 12, iTunes crashes and leaves ghost icons on my phone. This did not happen on the previous version of iTunes. If I make the app versions identical in iTunes and the iPhone it will go through the rest of the sync process,eg adding songs ect. I have tried all the normal fault finding stuff like reinstalling and factory resetting phone with no joy. Can someone from Apple please confirm this is a known issue and if it is likely to be addressed?
    Thanks in advance

I thought that would be the response when a iPhone model is not supported any more, thanks Apple

  • ITunes crash when syncing apps to iPhone 4s

I recently had to restore my phone as new.  I was able to sync to iTunes from my PC with no problem.   However, when I try to sync ANY apps, iTunes crashes.  How can I stop this from happening???

Every time it crashes, it adds to 'other' which is why I had to restore it to begin with.
