Gamecenter

This may sound stupid but for me it seems that gamecenter is not finish build ?
As i understand gamecenter is made like a roundabout were Apple phones and mac's can connect and play games together, but over half the games my mate got is only for Iphone, ipad and can not be found in app store, same problem the other way, i hope this is gonna be better so the gap between available games for phones and app store get smaller.
Also it would be nice with options like, chat on off, send messages to friends etc.

First, this is a user-to-user help board and Apple is not listening. If you want to voice your concerns to Apple, you have to do it HERE.
Second, Game Center is fine. Mac app developers must incorporate Game Center into their games before it can be used.
Also, though cross-platfom play is part of the experience, it's not the only purpose of Game Center at all. You leaderboards, achievements, multi-player gaming, and more.
I suggest you send Apple your suggestions on the link above. Perhaps they will add them to the next iteration of Game Center.

Gamecenter says I have a friend request but I don't

Hello - Gamecenter in my iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.3 shows a badge indicating that I have a pending request. When I load Gamecenter, it also says 1 pending friend request. However, when I load the "friends" section, there are no pending requests. This is only happening on my iPhone, even though the same account is on my iPad and MacBook. None of the other devices have this issue - only the iPhone.
Any suggestions on what could be wrong / how to fix would be appreciated!

Have you tried closing the application from the multitasking, then restarting your phone? This could solve the problem. Sometimes our apps just get exhausted and need to restart in the same way our phones need to.
Have you tried logging out and logging back into game center? This can reset game centers information, which should reset friends as well. This can be found in settings>game center
Have you verified your apple ID? Since you're on here I'd guess thats a yes but just in case you haven't go here: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Is your iOS up to date? sometimes servers get upgraded with the updates so older iOS versions might not be compatible in silly small ways (like Game Center not displaying friends).
The other issue could be related to an error my own phone was having. Basically I couldn't add friends (whether I was sending the request or receiving it) or play multiplayer on game center. In that case the issue is in the iPhone/iPad/iPod software itself, which is something we'd all expect (at least I would) when a company creates a new operating from scratch. In this case what's happening is your game center is responding to the iOS restrictions found in your settings menu (even though restrictions are disabled).
To fix this problem
go to settings>general>restrictions
Enable restrictions and choose a password you'll remember in 45 seconds
Scroll to the bottom where you see the section labeled "Game Center"
Now flip the switch on both Multiplayer Games and Adding Friends so both switches are green.
Scroll back to the top and disable restrictions
So let me know if you try any of that and let me know if any of it works.

How do I add multiple gamecenter accounts to one Apple ID?

We have multiple devices and different kids so I want to keep all of the devices on one Apple ID for sync reasons but create different game center accounts, one for each device. How do I do this? I don't see anywhere in IOS7 where I can add or delete gamecenter ids. Any ideas?

After 2 hours worth of searching with no answer, I decided to run a test and it worked. This is what I did to have multiple Game Center IDs on iOS7. (People responding may have over looked this detail because they assumed it was obvious, but it wasn't)
Answer: you MUST have multiple Apple ID accounts, however, you use the main one to log in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE.
1. I deleted the Alternate Email Address associated with my account
2. I created an entire new Apple ID with this email address
3. I login in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE with my original Apple ID (credit card on file)
4. I login to Game Center, iCloud, etc... with my kid's NEW Apple ID
So purchasing still goes under our shared account and game center, iCloud, etc... go under my kid's Apple ID.

My child has been using a gamecenter account linked to my main apple id.
I am trying to set up family sharing and have created a new (under age 13) account for him, [email protected]
I would like to give him the previous gamecenter account and create a new one for myself.

Multiple gamecenter accounts on one apple id

Before IOS 7 I was able to have multiple gamecenter accounts under one appleID. One for my phone and anohter for my son on his ipad. I have not figured out how to get his gamecenter account up and running again without settign up a new apple id, which correspondingly means I have to reinstall/buy all the apps again.

I have 2 gamecenters under 1 Apple ID and password, and when I sign out of gamecenter and try to sign into my other gamecenter it won't let me and it just goes to the one I was usin, PLEASE HELP!

You are running into the Activation lock and you need to enter the Apple ID and password for the account last used on the iPod.

I have used a @yahoo email address for 10 years as my apple ID when purchasing things. The biggest problem being, that at some point, yahoo decided to delete the email account and I can't use it. I would like to use my email addresses that I actually use (@me, @gmail), but I guess I used them at some point to log into gamecenter or some other useless apple thing. I know you can change the email associated with your account, but apple is showing that my emails are already in use, so I can't use them for this purpose.

Change the email you used in "gamecenter or some other useless apple thing" then change your AppleID.

I suggest changing the existing ID rather than creating a new one, all purchases are forever linked to the ID that bought and can never be transferred, you can change all detauils about your ID here:

Since you can't delete Apple IDs and having multiple Apple IDs can cause confusion, what you may want to do is rename your existing Apple ID to the new email (desired Apple ID). That would in effect do what you want, get rid of the old and give you the new.

In iOS 7 GameCenter, is there a way to view more than 75 scores on the Leaderboard?

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 7. With iOS 6, I could view more than 75 scores on the GameCenter Leaderboard for various games. Now with iOS 7, it appears to be limited to only the top 75 scores. Is there a preference to allow more scores to be displayed, or is this game specific. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Do NOT repeat NOT use open in timeline. That function is for a specific purpose usually related to clip sync.
Create a new project and edit your audio into the project not inside another clip's timeline.

Lost all my acheivements in gamecenter, for a particular game.

I have an iPhone5 and been using it quite a while without any issues. Gamecenter, on the other hand, has been acting weird. On the machine screen of Gamecenter my score is displayed as 12,612, whereas in my friends' list my score is 13, 573. Now, when I check my games I see one game with 0 achievements. I had completed all achievements(1000 points), which is not listed at all. I've tried signing out and signing in on GC-nogo. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game - nogo. The game is Despicable Me : Minion Rush. Game devs couldn't help me. I am running iOS 7.1.2 on iPhone5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As you have discovered, the guest account doesn't save files, which is how it is designed to work. To make the library accessible from the guest account, you can move the library to the hard drive level User/Shared folder (see next post), which will make it accessible by all accounts. You will then need to tell iPhoto where to look for the library.

Is it possible to restore Gamecenter after update and restore?? After update, tried logging into Gamecenter and it says that the user name is already taken. Yeah, I know..... by me!!!

One of my kids ipods needed an update. It wouldn't let me do it via the itouch (like the other 2 itouches did). I had to connect to the PC, sync, update and then restore. Once I did, the apps could be downloaded again via icloud (which wasn't on the itouch before) but progress on games that were through Gamecenter did not transfer. Tried logging into Gamecenter and it states the user name is already taken. Yeah, I know it's already taken, BY MY DAUGHTER!!! Apparently she has a dragon game app that she manages through Gamecenter that she has worked her way to level 22 and now it is all gone. It wants her to restart from level 1. I know this isn't life or death and not like losing work data etc. But to a 9 year old who has spent $40 of her own money on gems, coins etc....... this is the end of the world. LOL. I do want to try to help her, I just don't know how.

I had meanwhile created a new nickname, very similar to the original one, and requested that they swap the advanced world to the new id. I sent this last Saturday evening. This morning (so effectively on their first workday after my request!) I received a kind response from Rachael that they had swapped the parks. Like your daughter my son couldn't believe his eyes. What is wrong with my Gamecenter?

Recently I logged out of my Gamecenter so that I could let a friend play a game called Clash of Clans on my phone. Today I tried to log back in, I did so, but all my friends and games are now gone. The weirdest part is that when I checked my brothers phone to see If I was still on his Friend's list. I saw that I was on his Friend's list and according to his phone, nothing is wrong with my Gamecenter account's game and friends. So this means 2 things:
A. I have 2 Gamecenter accounts on 1 Email Adress AND can't access the original one.
B. I accidentally have overwritten my original one and now cannot acsess it.
Also, another thing that is weird is that the 2 accounts have 2 different nicknames. I am absolutely positive that I did not accidentally use 2 email accounts and did not accidentally make a new Gamecenter account. What is going on? Please help, I have irreplaceable content on my account.
