GameHouse apps not iPad compatible

I purchased Marble Mixer for iPad and after a week found it constantly crashes when loading. I contacted GameHouse (the developer) to find a solution and was told they no longer support iPad games. But they still have dozens of apps still available for purchase on the app store - and even being marketed at 50% discount until 9 January!
I find it loathing that they can blatantly rip you off like this - how can we get a refund for our purchases?

You may not be able to get a refund if the developer won't give it to you, but you can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them and ask.

New features in new software does sometimes mean that new files do not open in old software
Microsoft also does this... the new DOCX documents will not open in the old Word 97 (and, in fact, I had to buy MS Office 2003 because MS Office 97 would not even install and run on Windows 7)

Is there any plans to fix this? I found it odd that the system is set up to create apps for the iPad but if I want to do anything I need to be sitting in front of iMac. But I can't add info via my iPad. Kinda sucks in a way for me since one of my editiorial partner only has a iPad this time and his PC is pretty much worthless and my other partner is always on the go. It would be nice if I didn't have add all the descriptive copy fpr them. Its not like I don't have enough to do already since they are not as computer savvy. I assume it is still all Flash based. Any plans to make it HTML 5 anytime soon? I'd like to make this a job responsibilty for them.

Habe soeben CaloryGuard2 gekauft. Gemäss Beschreibung ist es kompatibel mit iPhone, ipod touch und ipad. Itunes hat es nun aber identifiziert als nur für iphone und ipod touch kompatibel, auf ipad wird es nicht übertragen. Entgegen der Beschreibung. Ich wollte es auf iphone UND ipad verwenden.

Sample apps not working on vs 2015ctp 6

i'm new to win app development.
i'm using vs 2015 ctp6
i tried following the C++ with XAML tutorial. but in part 5 'SimpleBlogReader' app, i got a bunch of errors in 'App.xaml' file. So i downloaded the sample app SimpleBlogReader to see what was going wrong. But, when i tried building the sample app
it too displayed the same error messages. what is the reason for this? Are the sample apps not fully compatible with VS2015 ctp6?

The doc you ref is this one:
Part 5: Create a blog reader, correct? But I do not find any link in the doc that provide download for the sample app, could you help me to find it out.
I may want to test on my machine with Visual Studio 2013 update 4 to see if the issue is related with sample or its a environment issue.
Personally I would not recommend you to use ctp6 since its not officially announced but its a preview version which might cause some problem.

My app did the exact same thing. It is still unavailable on the App Store and when Rue La La's site directs you to download their app, the "not available in the U.S. message appears. This happened to me last night. The app wasn't working, I deleted it and was just going to reinstall but was unable to find the app. I figured it was some glitch but I have tried multiple times this afternoon to no avail.

You can't do anything in the background of iOS. Apps are still one at a time (with a few exceptions like Music), and suspend when the app is closed. It's also against the App Store guidelines to sell apps that would allow such actions.
Though, maybe you could get your Voice Memos saved to MP3's, which can play in the background of other apps.

Make sure the app is supported on both devices. Some apps are iPad only. Also make sure they are supported by the iOS version on each device if they are running different versions of iOS.
Turn on automatic downloads on both devices:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Select items you want to download automatically fom the Automatic Downloads section

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

I have read about different software that you can download but this seems to be only if you are using a mac. I know my express is working fine as I can use airplay thru my iPad. Any ideas? I do not want to go to the expense of changing my printer, when there was no mention in the express details that your printer had to be AirPrint compatible or indeed wireless.

BT App not showing on IPad

I have installed BT Sport on my IPad but since upgrading to ios7 I can't see it. I can open it from the App Store so I know it works but can't find it on the iPad! Any ideas?

I have spoken to our product/technical contact for the app and they have responded with the below advice, I know you say you have already tried the power off function but might be worth another go? the product/technical team believe this is an issue with the update to IOS7 rather than the sport app.
The team have also said that other users on the apple community are experiencing similar issues after the update to IOS7, but with other apps, not BTSport.
If the user tries swiping down on their screen to bring up the spotlight search and searches for BTSport I’m sure they will find the app there, however this does not show where it exists on the device.
I’d suggest the user then tries a reset of their device by holding down the power button until the slide to power off button appears. Once powered off they should switch back on and this should hopefully then show the app.

You will not be able to see what version you are running until the iPad is activated. It will be in Settings>General>About >Version when you can get to the settings app.
The slider bar that you are describing sounds like the screen lock side switch and that has no bearing on setting up the iPad or connecting to WiFi.
Why don't you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again and see if the iPad will recognize and join the network.

The application auto-saves your input when you close the document. If you left the document, as you state, the notes/comments should have been saved and should have been visible the next time you opened the document with the Mobile Reader (note that if you are opening the document with another app such as Apple's built in PDF Viewer, things like notes/comments may not be visible). Also note that if you are doing an Open In... from another app (like Dropbox), the version of the document in Dropbox does not update; only the version of the document in the Mobile Reader is updated.
