Gamepad for iMac os lion
Who knos a compatible gamepad for imac lion.
I need a easy compatible gamepad to play fifa12 on mac.

I've ran AHT (through the original CD supplied with IMac).
I've performed the complete test, in order to have full machine verify.
At the the no any hardware fault has been detected. At the end...everything seems to be working properly...ma it doesn't...because the "disk chek bar" appears often when I boot my Imac.
Some time, emits beep sound in random way. I mean not the usual know (from 1 to 5) but continuosly and disconnecting the USB device connected or external audio plug the beeps stop.
I've conncetd:
- External USB HD used for "Time machine" back up
- HP printer connection
- Belkin additional USB ports (just for comfortable device connection, but no any device is permanently
connected).
- Audio jack plug for external audio system.
Is some one has more suggestion, will be very appreciated.

Hi apple pplz.. I have a question to ask you. If i buy renewal my apple care plan for imac osx lion 10.7.5. Sometime in the future, if my computer is broken down or having issue on the computer. What the apple care plan coverage all the internal part if anything goes wrong it. Cause i don't want to pay for a huge money just for fixing the parts if cost more $1000, worth more than i bought it brand new??

If you buy the AppleCare warranty, it will cover any defects in the computer, just like the included one-year warranty. Note that you must purchase AppleCare within one year of the purchase of the Mac. -

A Windows guest OS running within Parallels would be subject to the same security breaches as the same OS running on a PC and you would need to take the same precautions when the OS was running on the Mac.
Currently Macs are not subjected to such security breaches, but that could change in the future as more trouble makers concentrate on Mac OS X as it increases in popularity. Many of us use ClamXav on the Mac. -
new imac running lion 10.7.2 partitioned HD for duel boot and successfully installed windows xp pro (sp2)....have internet through eithernet cable on the mac side but no internet connection on the windows side....need drivers???? please help
I too am running xp spiii on my mac with lion. However I installed xp while running snow leopard then upgraded to lion and both are running fine. If you have the support disc that came with the imac all the relevant drivers are on there. The only other thing i would suggest is that you get spiii and upgrade to that.

Not really sure where this question should go, since it crosses 3 topic areas. Neither my contacts nor my calendar will sync from iMac (mountain lion) to iPad 3 (ios6). I've tried a byzantine series of fixes - mostly involving backing up each, turning off cloud syncing, turning it back on, with lots of little steps in between (I'd be more detailed, but I gave up for several weeks and don't really remember them). Is this a real issue, or am I missing something simple? It's extremely frustrating to have what is advertised as basic functionality not work even a little bit. Especially when 3rd party apps sync just fine. Any help would be much appreciated.
Never mind... It was indeed something simple that I missed (my icloud account was attached to an apple ID I didn't even know existed -- created for me?? ... fixed it - settings, icloud, sign out, signed back in as my actual apple ID).

When I upgraded my iMac to Lion I can no longer connect the iPad 2 to WiFi. It gives me a message unable to search for WiFi. Before the upgrade to Lion it worked fine. What gives?
Could there be a setting I need to adjust in the iPad2? When I try to turn on WiFi and enter the name of the WiFi that I have established, including the security type and the password, I get the message "Could not scan for wireless networks." Is there a setting in iCloud or other location that needs to be changed?

No, you do not need to re purchase Lion. You can re download Lion on all your authorized Macs using the same Apple ID.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install. -
Has anyone had any luck returning their iMac w/ Lion? I couldn't even reconnect back to the iternet tonight w/o restarting my new iMac.... Looks like folks have been having this problem for months & months .. The Apple tech told me that all I could do is wait for Apple to come up with a fix... Got a new router this week so that isnt' it. Would I be better off w/o this until Apple gets their act together? I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!
Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Can't stay on the internet... but will sell you another one today! I'm getting mad... It's not every day we spend that kind of money on a computer . & ALL they can give us is that LOUSY Lion combo update. I can't even stay connected long enough to make a vitamin order with Puritan's Pride... & then the disconnection wipes out my cart... so I have to start over. When are they going to fix this! 'Not feeling very positive'. I feel like Apple KNOWINGLY sold my husband a defective... system. 14 days... oh please...

I have the same problem. FaceTime works fine on my iMac but when trying to use FaceTime on my Macbook Air, I have the same issue you describe.

Just bought a new iMac, with Lion, for my wife. When is was wifi with her old iMac on line with it's printer, HP C6200, no problems printing. Now that it is by itself it does not recognize the C6200...It recognizes my laser hp 1012 and laser hp 6300 but will not print to them wanting an autenication
How is the C6200 connected to the iMac, is it via USB or Wi-Fi? If it's via Wi-Fi please make sure it's connected to the router using the printer's Network Wizard. Then click System Preferences - Print & Scan and assuming the iMac is on the same network as the printer, if it is the printer should be seen. If it's not then click the + sign and add the printer. I have an IMAC, Mountain Lion. Each time I open my mail, a message box appears with the message Mail can't connect to the account "Google", followed by Enter the password for the user *****@gmail.com. The full account that appears is an account that I had previously deleted. I cannot prevent the message box from appearing. What do I have to tweak in order for this annoying box to keep reappearing. I have deleted everything I know of in Google mail and my IMAC mail. Thanks for any feedback
From the Mail menu bar, select
Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Look for the unwanted SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat. -
I bought a laptop Macbook a year ago (January). It had Snow Leopard on it, but somehow the 8.x iPhoto. I just upgraded it and my my 2008 iMac to Lion. The old computer has iPhoto 9.x on it. So I am wondering why it says I have to buy the upgrade for a newer computer? Any ideas? I want to sync my photos with all my devices (Macbook, iPad, iPhone) through the cloud.
Not if you purchased it from the App Store. But if it's part of the iLife boxed set, then you have to repurchase. But you can purchase on the App Store which then lets you install it on as many computers as you own.

No you will need to purchase the upgrade. However if you own other Macs you want to upgrade once you have purchased Lion then you can upgrade the additional machines. Of course the additional machines must be using the same Apple ID. As long as the additional machine's meet the minimum system requirements listed below you are all set.

I have a iMac with Lion 10.7.4. Ive had to turn Photo Stream on several time in order for pictures to download. Should Photo Stream stay on?
That's an all to frequent problem. Try deleting the iPhoto preference file and then reset all of the preferences in iPhoto. That may do the job.
