Games and 3D-Mark do not recognise/accpet Hydra GPU's

I'm running a 870a motherboard with a MSI 6870. I decided I would try the Lucid function so I bought a 4670 just to assess performance gain before splashing out on something more expensive. I tried 3D Mark which did not recognise the configuration and neither did Battlefield bad company 2, yet the GPU did show on HM Monitor. I have also added the game to hydra's list. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you are running Vista I have found in online games for some reason you have to always run the game as admin. Simply right click the shortcut and click run as administrator this worked for me. I play WOW and AION

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Try this:
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
Make sure itunes is updated to the lates version on the computer.

there is a good chance that this can be related to bad contact in USB lead.. e.g not enough power from IPOD to PC so that pc cannot recognise it. Where I work I get alot of USB devices on pc's that are not recognised and most of the time it is the connection to the device that is not good enough because the flat end of the USB adapter has been gradually bent over time just slightly and now contact is not good. It can also be todo with drivers or If you are using it through a USB hub.
so if it is not working through USB hub try direct. also try in back of PC as these Ports or direct access to main board to pc and would be less trouble some if there was a voltage loss from mainboard in pc to front of unit.

That camera was recently supported for the first time by ACR 8.6, which needs at least CS6 to run. You will never be able to open those raw NEF files in CS4, as there will never be an update for CS4.
Your choices are to upgrade, or to use the free, stand-alone Adobe DNG Converter 8.6 on each and every batch of raw NEF files in order to convert them to raw DNGs that you can open in CS4.

Please check in Settings: General: Keyboard: International Keyboards how many there are and which.
If there is more than one you can either delete the ones that you don't use, or if you want to type on different ones at different times you can change between them using the key with a world that appears when you are using the keyboard.

Z10 not switching on and BB OS does not recognise ohone and doesnt work

My Blackberry Z10 started acting up last night so I re booted it. it switched on but and loaded to 100% but nothing proceeded or happened after that.I read most forums and did what was said but nothing worked. I charged it for 2 hours, took battery out for 15 minutes and then put it in charger for 2 hours but nothing happened. I installed BB OS on my windows 8 PC and used a BB USB but that didnt work too as it did not recognise my device. I do not know what to do at this point, Ive been trying to fix it for the last 24 hours and worst part is the phone was bought 5 months ago. I honestly thought I had a great phone until all these problems started happening. At first it switched off when it had 30% battery, I managed to fix that and now this?? I do not understand how one smartphone can have so many problems. Please help me, Im defeated at this point and dont know what to do

Yikes! It's a pity you did not back up before...as you suspect, if your device will not boot up, then you can't take a backup. Backups require interaction between your PC and your device...your device not properly functioning would preclude that interaction. This is the reason backups are always done before they are needed...they are not a reactionary thing to do but, rather, precautionary.
Given what you describe, it is unlikely you'll be able to take a backup...so sad. Recovery may or may not work via LINK OS reload. If not, then you would want to use instead an AutoLoader as that normally has the ability to load an OS to a device in the condition you describe.

Trying to download game and getting Spooge drivers not installed message

The game is Dawn of War and everytime I try to download it I get that message, I am going through what hotfixes from microsoft I can for my graphics card but so far they aren't doing the trick. I don't know if this is the right forum for this or not but hopefully someone can at least point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help.

There's something wrong with your DirectX install. Dawn Of War will not run under Parallels or VMWare Fusion.. Also Parallels has been known to hose DirectX. Click your START menu in Windows and then RUN. Type: dxdiag and runs through some tests.
redownload DX web installer and install the latest version.. DoW should play fine afterward. I don't think the game will run under integrated graphics cards too- the shaders are not present.

Exclamation mark! Not recognising external drive has been reconnected.

All my Itunes music is stored on an external hard drive. Foolishly I must have pressed play whilst the drive was disconnected and I now have an exclamation mark next to every track. This will mean that the next time I connect my Ipod there will be a problem.
How do I get Itunes to recognise that the songs are there when the external drive is reconnected?
Is there a simple way to remove the exclamation mark without playing every song individually?

Just exit iTunes and open it again. All you have to do is make sure the drive is connected before you open iTunes.

Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS3 do not recognise Canon PowerShot S90 raw files

My husband has lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS3 but they don't recognise CanonPowershot S90 camera raw files. I've tried searching for the problem on internet but can't find anything that helps. Adobe's DNG converter doesn't work either. I've tried different versions of the DNG converter to no avail. Buying a new Adobe product is out of the question.
Another problem is that his e-mail address has been changed so that he can't login to his Adobe account. We used to be able to contact Adobe Netherlands by phone or email but that option isn't available anymore.
Can anyone help please?

for the final versions of LR3. Download and install the software. You do not need to remove your present installation first, LR will install over it and fix any faults that now exist.
Your husband can log onto his Adobe account with the old email address and when in the account can edit the address to the new one.

5D Mark III Not Recognising CF Card in Slot 1.

I recently inserted a CF card into slot 1, but the camera cannot see it or format it.
I've tried two known, good, error free CF cards, but the camera just tells me they cannot be accessed and to change them or format them in camera.
I've checked for bent pins in the slot, but they seem ok from what I can see. I contacted Canon Support who told me to revert all camera settings to factory default, which I did, but it failed to solve the issue. Failing that they advised to have the camera checked at a Canon Service Centre. The problem is I'm currently living and working in a country that doesn't have a service centre. I can't afford the downtime involved in sending it to another country to be repaired, so I wondered if any other Mark III users had come across a similar issue and solved it without the need of a service centre?
The SD cards still work, so all is not lost, but I'd like the option to use the CF cards, particularly for high speed shooting, which they seem to handle better than SD cards.
Any tips, suggestions, ideas welcomed.

I've used a flashlight and magnifying glass, and as far as I can see the pins look ok.
I spoke to a local professional photographer who gave the address of a place that turned out to be a Canon approved repair centre here. I've just back from there. They said 3-4 days to investigate and hopefully repair.
My dissatisfaction with Canon tech support is not the lack of service centres. I fully appreciate they can't have one in every country. My complaint is the lack of knowledge of my problem. I got more potential fix ideas just surfing the net than I did from Canon. As I'm not the only person to have had this problem, the least I would have expected from the manufacturer is a list of things to try, or even a blunt but simple 'your camera needs to be returned for repair'.
I've never had a problem with any Canon product I've owned in the past, which is testimony to the quality of the products they produce, and I'm sure they do offer a prompt service when you're fortunate enough to be somewhere where they have a service centre, but as I travel extensively, quite often my only line of enquiry for any tech related problem is a tech support line. In this case I just don't think Canon offered anything close to an effective level of support.
Anyway, I will see what the approved repair centre says when they've had chance to check it out.
