Games on Vista with XFI? Plea

I am pleased that the latest beta drivers enable 5. playback for movies and audio in windows.
However, games such as Battlfield 2 and others do not work in hardware mode! Does this bother anyone else?
The only reason I am not using Vista is because I cannot get games to fuction properly with XFI in hardware mode.
Is there any news on this? How come no one discusses it's

Civilization IV works and Half-Life 2 (All Steam Games) but your right, I am having trouble getting Battlefield 2 to work.

Microphone problems in Vista with XFI-ExtremeGa

Recently purchased the XFI and installed using just the creative drivers from this website (the 5th March release) however I am now totally confused.. do I install ANY of the software from the XFI installation CD?Secondly, how do I mute the microphone? I have it plugged into the rightmost socket on the back of the card (the white socket) but several things are not working. At no place inside Vista can I mute the mic.. if I turn the recording volume to 0% it doesn't make any difference, also without using the +20% mic boost any voice is incredibly quiet despite maximum recording volume, however if I use mic boost I get horrible hissing continuously!?So to summarize.. )? No, don't install any of the apps, they are XP only (the ones that came on CD). If you want applications search the forums for "UPAX" although these are hacked chinese drivers \ apps so use at your own risk.

Help! please! digital-in not working in vista with xfi ga

I just bought a digital I/O module for my Xfi Gamer card. I was using the youppax driver set. I am not getting any sound from the Digital in on the card. Also the digital I/O selection is greyed out in my control panel. Does anyone know how to get the digital in to work? Next I think I will try to remove all the drivers and software for my xfi and reinstall the Creative Labs latest drivers, do you think that will help?I am sure other people have had this issue also. My primary purpose for my sound card is so I can do multitrack recording on my PC using the digital-in as the source. I have been doing this on my XP machine for years now. This is killing me, Help!!! Please!

The Digital IO module connects to X-fi cards via the Flexijack, which on all of them except the XtremeGamer is an electrical connection. Unfortunately the XtremeGamer's digital flexijack functions are optical-out (only) instead, so the I/O Module won't work with it. The Product page for the Digital IO Module shows what cards it works with. The XtremeGamer doesn't work with the external IO console either due to the lack of the needed connector. Unfortunately this means there is no way to get a digital signal into that particular X-fi card. Sorry

Would someone please explain to me how to remove an ad that comes up in the "Train Titans" game that comes with the laptop . It's in the Windows Vista tile board. My son likes the game but cant continue

No 5.1 sound while watching movies in Vista with X-Fi XtremeGam

Hi all, I have just bought a new PC running Windows Vista, with the PC was a set of Creative T600 speakers and a Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer card.
I am aware of the problems associated with X-fi cards and games (I have Alchemy installed and all works fine), but when I watch any movies on the PC I lose sound from the rear speakers. I have tried setting the card to Entertainment Mode and setting up 5. speakers but even here when I run the test I get no sound from the rear speakers.
So my question would be is there drivers to solve this problem, but still retain EAX gaming sounds etc. or am I reduced to watching 5. movies with only the front speakers working?

Stuttering sounds in games under Vista 32-bit

Every minute or so when I'm in any game in Vista (tried World of Goo, Crysis, Spore), the sound stutters for a couple of seconds. I think it is just a sound issue because the framerate doesn't seem to slow down during the stuttering sound. I tried reinstalling the Boot Camp drivers and even completely reinstalling Vista, and the issue is still there. Any ideas?

So it is the wireless drivers. Pretty much thought so.
Oh well, too late for me, it was so incredibly bad for me, I gave up. All week trying to wrangle first the sound drivers, then the network drivers, and couldn't get it fixed. Could /slightly/ reduce it by fiddling with which band it was on, but it would still keep stuttering to a point where it just wasn't working for my requirements. Took it back <week after purchase and got a full refund. Have to say, they did look after me well and offered to help me in shop if this problem gets resolved. I'd still recommend one to anyone who doesn't have the need for Vista64, and I'd get it again once I heard it was fixed (and had a chance to test personally).
Amazing really that there's no decently working drivers for this. People are reporting sluggish network access, crashes, stuttering sound, and still no updated drivers. Hope it gets resolved soon, I WANT MY MAC BOOK!

There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password. There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons,

TWO Game center acount with one Apple ID

I have a little problem with my iPod Touch 4. I somehow have two Game Center IDs with ONE Apple ID. It won't stay logged in to the ID I've used all the time and i have to log in twice until it logs in to my real ID. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I already updated my iOS to the newest, iOS 4.3.2 and I have the latest update of Game Center.

Unless you can find a way to delete the Game Center account you don't want, I can't think of any other way to solve your problem.
