Games? Screen protector

Does anyone know of any games for the itouch? I downloaded a iPod games only to realize it would not sync with my iTouch..... anyone have any games on their iTouch yet? Looking for Texas Hold'em. What about screen protectors for the glass screen?
Thanks guys....

THere are no games on ITMS that you can buy for the ipod touch. But you can try these web based games possibly. THey were developed for the iphone but the ipod touch is similar. YOu would need to be in a wifi hotspot.

For a screen protector I might suggest this.

While playing games screen is flickering after upgrading to latest IOS.

I have taken it out of the case - I figured it would obstruct the sensor (also have no screen protector).
Only thing I haven't tried from the Basic troubleshooting steps you mentioned was to "restore as new".
That I did try it tonight (succesffully restored), BUT my problem still exists.
You mentioned to go in the MAC store > Would they replace it (for free) if they reach the conclusion it's some sort of manufacturer faulty wiring even if it's a 3Gs (as an old model)?
Would they still if phone had water damage (this I'm just curious - the phone didn't)?

  • N8 Screen Protector Issue

    Hi.
I have a problem in that I use a screen protector on my mobiles and a recent one I bought for my N8 has given me a strange problem as can be seen in my attachment.
They are coloured wavey blue/red/green streaks running vertically on the screen.
Without it, it's as clear as day. It's so bad using the display horizontally, I can hardly see to write a text or play games.
I wanted to ask, does anyone else have a similar fault with there screen protector and what are you using?

Get rid of your cheap screen protector; this is the only reason. Just believe it.
Thanks Chefproll for this informative answer.
Can I say, this protector wasn't cheap!!
I had a look on Amazon UK and the price for them is actually quite reasonable.
    Any other screen protector suggestions?

  • Are there any screen protectors that feel as smooth/slippery as the iPad Mini screen?

I'm looking for a screen protector that feels as smooth/slippery as the normal iPad Mini screen. The screen feels really nice, especially for games, I'd like to keep it as is but I'm afraid of getting it scratched. This is my first Apple device so I apologize if this has been asked before. Thanks!

I was considering the same thing when I bought my iPad Air. I really enjoy using the iPad with no cover/case at all. The way Apple designed it. The cool aluminum and smooth glass. I understand you on those points. The same can be said for the iPhone. I have both a case and screen protector on my iPhone. I can remove the case, not the screen protector. Those aren't made to install and remove repeatedly.
I'd prefer not to use a screen protector because of how it blurs the screen but also because it affects the "feel" of the screen. Gone is the silky smooth feeling of the glass. I got a scratch on an iPhone screen once and use a screen protector now. I carry the iPhone with me 24/7 so it needs more protection.
My iPad Air is a different story. I also bought it at BestBuy and use it for iBooks quite a bit too! I use the new iPad Air SmartCase to protect it but haven't installed a screen protector. I haven't installed one because the screen is only vulnerable while I'm using it and is protected by the case while I carry it. I like how the display looks and feels without the screen protector on.
The good news is, if you decide to install a screen protector, you can easily remove it if you change your mind. I hope this helps...

  • Ipad Screen- To use screen protector or the cleansing solution?

I have purchased ipad3 3 months back ago, and I am using it for the sake of playing games and to do little much of browsing. I am very much concerned about it's screen and regularly(3-4 times a day) wipe the fingerprints and dust particles using a soft cloth under the LED light.I have enclosed the ipad within the Belkin smart cover case. However, there are some marks on the screen which aren't getting wiped off.
Will it be necessary for me to purchase the screen protector or some cleansing solution, though apple support doesn't recommend any of the two?

If it's just finger prints don't worry about them. If you're getting other stuff on the screen then you may want to consider a screen protector, just for your own peace of mind. I choose to use one and like the fact that I can clean it without worrying aobut hurtin the coating on the screen. But there are others here that have had their iPad for years and not used a screen protector and will never use one.
It all comes down to your personal comfort level. If having marks on the screen are a concern to you then you  may want the protector as an added level of protection.

  • I have this weird stain in my ipad screen and screen protector that has formed around a crack in the glass.

Some time ago my ipad 4 screen slowly began forming a long hairline crack at one corner and near the home button for some reason, perhaps daily rough and tumble taking it to class and whatnot.  The crack is not very noticeable so I have delayed getting the screen repaired.
I used to have a Boxwave Cleartouch Ultra screen protector on, and as directed, would peel it off now and then to give it a good wash(it's one of those reusable ones with adhesive on the edges only and yes they are meant to be washed now and then).  One day after doing this, I noticed a strange puddle of tiny round stains clustering near the crack.  I didn't think much of it until I equipped my ipad with a stronger ipad case with it's own screen protector.  The stain seemed to cling onto the Boxwave screen protector even after cleaning.  Now with a new screen protector the stains around the crack were these tiny rainbowy areas around the crack that sat on top of the glass and were visible as just some kind of smudge when the screen was turned off.  I recently discovered the stain has transferred to my new screen protector when I remove it and is visible when you look at it at an angle when removed from the ipad. Not even dish soap seems to get rid of it.
I am wondering what this stain could be, I mean there is no liquid pooling out of the digitizer or anything.  One idea I have is that maybe some adhesive from the first screen protector got loose after washing and pooled into the crack and thats why they have a smudgy appearance that they got when wiping the screen dry.  There are no liquid stains under the crack however.  Another thing I thought of was maybe something to do with oleophobic coating and the crack itself.  I am also wondering how  to get rod of it safety.

    You are welcome.

  • I am having the hardest time with the screen protectors! HELP ME|!

So I bought the Anti-Glare screen protector from the Apple Store fir my iPhone. The first time I out it on, it looked good, but when I really looked at it, it was crooked around the Home button which looked really stupid, so I took it off with some tape and repositioned the protector, but yet again, can not get it straight, but worse of all, because my house is filled with flying dust, the back of the protector is filled with dust and lint and smudges, so now I cannot use the first one, so i open the other and what happens? THE SAME THING!!! So I have 2 questions.
    1. What am I doing wrong, what is the best way to put these on? Should I take the protector off just a bit and place it on the phone and then let it fall into place? Or take it off completely and then place it and hope I get it straight the first time?
    2. I am going to buy some new protectors (Same brand and everything), but I am wondering, would the Apple store give me an exchange despite the fact I did this to the protectors? Has anyone done that before?
    Thanks!

It took me THREE OF THE THINGS before I get one of them on -- luckily, once on, it has never had to come off, and that has been since July.
I ended up putting a small piece of scotch tape at the bottom right corner, which helps you lift it up and reposition without having to lift it too far that desk lint and things get on it again.
I actually got so fed up after the first two, when I went back to get the second package of them (since there are only two of them per pack) that the "Genius" assisting me said he was a pro and would put it on for me. After the "Genius" had himself used up two of the protectors and it still looked awful, he just gave me another pack and wished me well.
The third one was the charm though, and it has worked perfectly ever since.

  • Should I use a screen protector for an iPhone 6 Plus?

I just bought an iPhone 6 Plus and can't decide if I want/need a screen protector on it. I take great care of my phones and do not set it carelessly down on any surface.

    Yes.
We were going without for the first time, and after only 2 weekes,  my wife just showed me a hairline scratch on hers.  She says it could not possibly have happened, but it did.
I just ordered screen protectors for both of ours.

  • Looking for Screen Protector for A5500-H / A8-50

I'm looking for a good but reasonably priced screen protector for my Mum's new A5500-H. I know there's loads of cheap ones on e-bay but I've tried them for other devices before and found they don't apply very well or have a nasty rough surface that your finger sticks to, making the device unpleasant to use. I've got the model with two speakers, so need cutouts for them at each end. Generally I think the Matte protectors are better as they cut down on reflections, even if they do make the screen a bit less clear/sharp.
I really want a pack of at least two, in case I mess up applying the first one or just as a spare for future. This one's cheap enough to buy two but I've not come across kwmobile before, so they might not be any better than the e-bay ones.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/kwmobile%C2%AE-protector-ANTI-GLARE-resistant-against/dp/B00KPX8DE2/ref=pd_s...
This on the other hand is quite expensive at £11.69 for two but I think I at least recognise the brand, although there's only one review so not enough information to know if they're actually any good
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/atFoliX-Screen-Protection-Lenovo-IdeaTab/dp/B00JKOWAUA/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qi...
I was hoping to find something decent around £4 or £8 for two.
Xtremeguard I think are OK and this seems like a good price for three but coming from the US I'll have no recourse if it turns out to be rubbish as it will cost more to send it back than it's worth
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Pack-Clear-HD-XtremeGuard-HI-DEF-Screen-Protector-Cover-For-Lenovo-A8-50...
The fact that they're selling this single one for more than that pack of 3, makes me concerned that the latter might not be very good
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-XtremeGuard-LCD-Screen-Protector-For-Lenovo-A8-50-A5500-Anti-Scrat...
Perhaps there's a decent but reasonably cheap option for a different 8" device that I could cut down so that it just covers the actual screen area?

Hmm, I notice that the cheaper Xtremeguard 3-pack says they have a "slightly grippy feel" which sounds like the nasty ones I've used before on other devices. The more expensive Xtremeguard single protector has to be applied with water, which I don't fancy either, so I'm still looking for suggestions.

  • Help Find Screen Protector (In Store Pl0x)

Hi, it's me again. I'm having trouble finding a screen protector. I got one at the apple store with the iPod Touch 4G, but it was for the 2G version, and didn't have the hole for the camera and didn't fit right. My sister got me one at wal-mart today, for iPod touch 4G, but it doesn't have a hole for camera, and it's the matte one.
My friend said the matte ones suck, they make the image quality horrible. So, I put it on, like an idiot, and yes, I hate it, and it makes it look bad. He said get the glossy screen protector. I can't find a glossy one for 4G, anyone know of one? Also, does it have a hole in it for the camera? This current one makes it all blurry without the hole .

Try Best Buy and Amazon. They have several brands.
I haven't found one that sticks completely to the screen, although I've followed the instructions including the cleaning process.
I'm looking for a wrap around case. The only ones I can find have a belt clip which makes it too bulky for my purse. I've opted for the shell type case that just covers the back and edges and also use the screen protector that keeps coming undone at the edges. And they do show lots of fingerprints.

  • What kind of screen protector should I use for my iPhone 6? Should I use one?

I'm looking for a screen protector for my brand new baby. To my dismay, it's hard to find one that "fits" because of the curved edges. I have ocd, not to mention that what isn't covered by a screen protector are usually crucial areas. Can anyone recommend anything? I always use a screen protector because I'm super paranoid. I throw my phone in my purse a lot where I feel like it will come in contact with one too many things that can scratch it. I don't have a ton of money to spend, sorry I'm a college student. Also, I don't like glass protectors. If I need one I'm looking for a film. Thanks in advance from a new iPhone 6 parent!

I have an iPhone 6 Plus but I thought I would try to help you out!! I use the Zagg Glass Invisible shield and I must say at first I loved it! It feels smooth and accepts input super well! It doesn't, however, go all the way to the edge of the screen which is weird, I agree. I've only had it for about a month now and its already chipped on the top edge by the speaker and its super annoying!! They will replace it for free but I'm not sure that I want another one that chipped so easily.
I've heard great things about the iloome screen mate and it goes all the way to the edge of the screen and covers the curved part. I know you said you don't like glass protectors but those are the best and if you get a good one you pretty much only need to replace it once a year so you pay a bit more up front but it lasts a lot better than just film ones. Hope that helps!!!!!

  • Degeneration of bulit-in HP netbook screen protectors

I've been through about a dozen HP netbooks, and while I have found them very good I have come across a very troublesome development in many of the newer ones.
At some point HP deceded to extend the bezel into a transparent screen protector. This is a good move: a $15 part protecting a $45 part at a cost of pennies to the manufacturer. But there are two problems with the way the scheme was implemented.
First, it seems that defective clear plastic was used. In many of the 200 Series line I have seen spotting develop. The spots are internal and cannot be wiped off from either side.
It gets worse, however. Some of the bezels are not made to be replaceable. On my 210-3060 the lid, screen and bezel are sold only as a complete assembly, to the unreal tune of $360. Effectively, if you have a bad enough defect on the screen protector, the unit has zero resale value. And the bezel is made so flimsily that any attempt to remove it cracks it, in the hands of all but the most experienced techs. For most people, this means you are stuck.
I currently have maybe five HP netbooks whose value has been severely compromised by materials failure and some inexplicable design decisions by HP. And in each case it looks like I'm left holding the bag, and that adds up. This is not a terribly good thing, and has already inhibited me from further purchasing of HP netbooks. Of course, everything is out of warranty, which is very convenient for some.

I've dissassembled probably a hundred of these things. I'm not sure what you mean by an inferior warranty, mine say one year, and the expectation of quality materials is reasonable. Taking a macro marketing view toward netbooks in general is going to be little comfort to those who use and like them, and who bought them with a reasonable expectation of durability.
The manual you cited refers to a typical situation where the bezel is removable in the standard way of unscrewing and prying off. But that is not the case with the 210-3060NR, which has no screws and, according to HP tech support, is not designed to be taken off. It's a firm snap-in design, which combined with its flimsyness makes that a neat trick indeed. Try to find one of those bezels of the unitary type in good shape on ebay and you'll see it's no easy task. Most of them have been cracked while being taken off. And finding a clear HP screen protector/bezel for any netbook model is almost as difficult, in my experience..

  • I have the same case with you an iPad Air in dead pixel or speckle silver dust on screen.  It is been 3 months I bought in Avant Abenson in Greenbelt Makati Philippines. Today I decided to change my screen protector film but the speckle dust on the screen

Speckles dust on the screen and it cannot be removed today when I decided to change the screen protector film and noticed is not my fault it is a factory defect on screen it is either dead pixel or speckle dust on screen they are so many said and experience I have read.  So I need the replacement a new one for that dismayed screen on my iPad Air. I bought this 3 months ago in Avant Abenson at Greenbelt Makati Philippines.  I need the replacement for tomorrow I will go to the store I bought.  I love apple products but they need to replace and make go round to improve some defects and cannot be more escalate with this issue of the many of patronizing your products.  It is sometimes irritating to the eyes and seen dirt on the screen.  Thank you apple customer service to bringing up my complaints and a replacement for tomorrow's to inform the store I bought and advise them here in the Philippines to facilitate in regards to this matter.

I wanted to buy an ipad air to replace my ipad 2 but the one I wanted was (luckily) sold out.
Yesterday I tested the air from a collegue and I noticed the screen was SUBSTANTIALLY less sensitive than the screen of my ipad 2 when using my stylus.
I use Stylus R US especially for I annotate and with the air this did not work well at all... Half of the time there was no contact registered so underying certain parts of the text was a disaster...
Just working with the finger all whent OK... Just fear that another app I use a lot (notes +) will have same problem.
On the Ipad 4 also retina all goes *** smooth as on my ipad 2...
Is this a fault of a specific ipad air series? Or is this normal?? If it is I think this is truelly a huge flaw and I cannot see how not manny people using the ipad for notetaking etc did not notice this...

I bought both of these rugged cases and keep hearing that the actual cases can scratch the phones.  Should I use a screen protector on the phone face and back as well?  I assume that may not fit in the cases if I do that.  Anyone have any experience with these cases?

Do you have the shield on the front and back?  I read they do not fit in the Otterbox with both.  I would bet one side may fit.  I think if you use a thin one like the Verizon site has (PureGear Display Protectors) on the front I bet it will fit.  I have the Survivor case and have not head a chance to try the shield with it.  I got the phone, and first threw it in that case.  I know what to get a shield on it if possible.  Please let me know if it fits.
