Hi,
We are facing 'GOAL HAS EXPIRED' problem in dashboard.There are some metrics available in our dashboard.few metrics only showing this goal has expired error when we refresh the metrics.can you help me out this.

Henrik,
By design, pageflow redirect are treated as browser redirect, and this
explains why the pageflow redirects the user to a standalone page and
not a page aggregated in the portal.
A work-around is to create a WindowURL pointing to your portlet, and
redirect to that URL in your pageflow. You will have to create a Forward
explicitly to do this. Let me know if this works.

Content has expired error - NOT related to time being off on servers??

Recently I had a site (with publishing turned on) where the top navigation and quick launch disappeared showing the content had expired error. I have triple checked the server time settings, as well as the web application time settings. I verified
with our AD guy that our time is the same. This was only happening on one site but now I see it on a different site collection sub site.
I am weak when it comes to development so I am at a brick wall. I was hoping someone could tell me or have some suggestions as to what the problem could be.

Hi,
As you said, the error only occurs in some sites, so other sites in the same site collections are all ok?
If other sites are all ok, then please check that whether the issued sites has been modified with some unique customization.
According to the error message, a common solution is to update your web applications' time zone to match that of your SharePoint servers, then IIS reset is also required on each server in the farm.

"Acrobat XI Pro Trial has expired" Error Message

I subscribe to Creative Cloud and have Acrobat XI Pro, among other programs, on a monthly subscription.
Today I got an error message "Acrobat XI Trial has expired" when I tried to open a pdf document, and also when I tried to open the program through a shortcut on my desktop.
I was able to use Photoshop today.

If applicable, let CC aPP complete any automatic updates and log out of it.
Sign in with your Adobe ID.
Open the Acrobat CC application .
The prompt that you get for "trial has expired" also has an icon of "license this software" at the bottom left hand corner.
Please click on it & sign in, the trial be converted to subscription. Please try this & let us know if it worked for you.

VIP Swap and 'The semaphore timeout period has expired' errors

We use the VIP swap technique of rolling out new versions of our apps. These apps use an Azure SQL Database. Starting sometime early this year we started seeing SQL Database errors during the VIP swap. The problem is very consistent, if we have database
activity during the VIP Swap it is very likely to generate one or more of these errors. As you can see below in our custom formatted version of the error the actual SQL Error number is 121 and the text is 'The semaphore timeout period has expired':
SQLError Number:121, Message:A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The semaphore timeout period has expired.)
We do utilize the Enterprise library for transient error handling and I have seen these errors from time to time and random points, but the fact that this is very consistent with a VIP swap bothers me. Since both deployments exist before and after the VIP swap
why would there be any interruption in SQL Database connectivity? Our apps consist of a Web App, a few Web Services, and a few Worker Roles. I have seen this error from all of them at different times during VIP swaps.
Any ideas?

"Your license key is invalid or has expired" error (Purchased License)

Hello -
We have just installed CR Server XI R2 and have purchased a valid license. The installation accepted the license key during the install and also allowed me to register this license key at the end of the install and sent me my registration number. After finish the install and following the installation guides - all of the services come up in Central Configuration Manager - but when clicking the Enable/Disable Servers icon and trying to enable 1 or all of the servers there (final step in the install guide) I get the following:
Your license key is invalid or has expired. If you received a temporary license key by purchasin another BusinessObjects product, you must register BusinessObjectsEnterprise to receive your permanent license key.
Again, this is not a temp license, but a full Crystal Reports Server XI R2 5 Cal keycode, purchased through CDW.
When we were awaiting the full license to come, we attempted to install and run the trial version of CR Server XI R2 and continually received this same error with that install. I have removed the package completely and re-installed multiple times but each time get this same error at the final step.
Any help would be great, we've tried reaching out to the Customer Email Support for BO and phone number since Monday and finally yesterday we were told we had to come to this forum to get assistance.

License has expired Error but license isn't expired!

I just downloaded 3.1.1 which expires Aug 1. I've used gunzip to extract this and run it from one of our testing accounts. This worked fine.
When I extract it to another account that used to run Coherence with no issues, I get the below exception. Has anybody ever encountered this? Is there something here than may be in conflict? Something to note is that this is going through an EJB that then calls Coherence. Coherence is running in the Weblogic JVM space only. When I run Coherence on the command line in this account, everything works, with the message:

"Your payment method has expired" error message on a new card.

Hey all, my debit card recently expired and so I wanted to update the details to my new one. Initially just changing the numbers and expiry date over just gave me the same "Your payment method has expired. Please enter valid payment method information." message. I erased all the card information so no card was tied to the account then tried to add my new debit card - However I am still getting this same message even though it clearly hasn't expired since the card is valid until 2015.
Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Not able to connect to database: ORA-28001: the password has expired

I started getting the 'password has expired' error in my SOA server log today (six months after installing my SOA Suite 11.1.1.4 development environment). I found a tip in an old forum thread:
Failed to connect to database instance: ORA-28001: the password has expired
and changed the password expiration time as suggested, and bounced my SOA server hoping for the best. But I'm still getting the password has expired error. Is there a way to clear that out so that I don't have to go back and figure out which user(s) are being affected and what their passwords should be reset back to so that my SOA environment will work again? Better to check the password_life_time unlimited for all your schemas, suppose your prefix is DEV you may have:

Sharepoint 2013 the trial period for this product has expired

Hi am getting this error while editing the site page's.
am checked my application pool,its running in admin credential's only.
recently am updated to 2013 sp1. so after done updating am run sharepoint configuration wizard .am running whole this in vmware.

Is this is a Trial Version of SharePoint you are using

SAP KW Viewer - Presentation has Expired

Solution on SAP note number 773555
- Start Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> regedit.exe)
- Select the following key in the Windows registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_DISABLE_MK_PROTOCOL]
- Select "New" -> "DWORD Value"
Value Name: sapshow.exe
Value: 0x00000000
If the problem continue, you can correct register of Windows

Clean install - "License Has Expired" problem

My computer died last week so I bought a new Gateway PC running Vista. I've been able to re-install everything except Photoshop CS3. This is a new-from-the-factory PC that never had any version of Photoshop installed. I installed CS3 from my downloaded installer and entered the registration key but get the "Product license has expired" error when I try to launch the program. I even went to my Adobe Product Registrations page to double-check that I had the correct license #.
I followed the steps on this web site to uninstall, run the CS3Clean script, and deleted the cache.db file. Upon re-installation the setup program seems to accept the serial number with a green check mark, but then when I try to launch the program I get the "license has expired" error again. Frustrating!
I obtained CS3 legitimately as a pre-release tester and it worked fine up until my old PC died last week. And I was able to successfully re-install my Mac version of CS3 just a few weeks ago.
Anyone have any good ideas before I try the uninstall/clean process again?

Thanks for the idea! However I already disabled UAC before I even tried to install CS3, and I did attempt the install using an administrator account (the only user account on the machine, currently).

Getting error "Your session has expired. Restart this wizard to continue" when I create / configure service applications

Last week, I installed 3 virtual servers (WFE, APP and DB).
When I started to create the service applications on the app server, several of them gave me the following error at the end:
"Your session has expired. Restart this wizard to continue. "
Although the error occured, they actually are created. But I'm having difficulties with the Secure Store Service. I try to add a new Target Application and when I click Next, I get the same error.
I tried to delete the application and recreate it. Tried to stop/start the Secure Store Service. I'm doing this as a local admin on the server (which was also used for installation and configuration of Sharepoint).
No events in the eventlog. There is some logging in the ULS :

The funny thing is... the service applications which I expected to give me some kind of trouble, are working perfect (User profile sync, Search). I installed numerous servers in the past 3 months and this is the first time I'm running into this and it's
driving me crazy.

And the first reply caught my attention.
It says that if your servername contains an underscore, these kind of errors might occur.
And for sure, my servernames contain underscores. DOH!
I'm going to change it and recreate the farm... just to be safe. Will get back with the results.

Hi Shitalkumar,
The issue may occur if Evaluation Edition or CTP Edition of SQL Server was installed earlier on the server, however, the previous instance of SQL Server was not uninstalled completely or upgraded to Business Intelligence Edition successfully. To resolve
the issue, modify the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110\ConfigurationState registry key value from 1 to 3, and then rerun the Edition Upgrade procedure from the SQL Server install media to upgrade the SQL Server components to the
licensed edition again.
