  • How can I remove the moon phases from iCal?

I need to remove ALL the moon phases that appear in iCal 5.0.3. Every time iCloud updates it sends 6 to 10 moon events to my MacBook Pro. Going forward 3 0r 4 months, there are too many moon phases. How can I remove the moon phases from iCal?
I am on a MacBook Pro 2.2 with 4 GB using Mountain Lion 10.7.5.

    Try:
    items.RemoveAll(s => string.IsNullOrEmpty(s));
Or you can filter them out using where:
    var noEmptyStrings = items.Where(s => !string.IsNullOrEmpty(s));

  • Possible to skip the validate phase in a valuechangelistener?

    Hi,
I'm using MyFaces 1.1.6. Does anyone know how I can skip the validation phase of the JSF lifecycle from within a valuechangelistener method? I'm trying this ...
        public void updateTimePrefs(ValueChangeEvent vce) {
            vce.setPhaseId(PhaseId.UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES);
}but it is not working (Validation errors get displayed). Ultimately, what I want to do is change the value of a selectOneMenu on my page when the value of a text field changes, but since I'm just reloading the page with new selectOneMenu list items, I don't want to annoy the user with validation errors.
    Thanks, - Dave

    Hi again,
    1. Its absolutely true that
       the whole data of TABU-contents,
(all the records with the primary key specified)
      are,
      in fact,
      contained (with the full data)
      in the data file.
    2. Its the same mystery, as it was in the beginning.
    3. Nobody has found out the
       encryption/format
       of this file.
    4. In other words,
its just like an winzip file,
       which contains data.
      to use this winzip file,
      we need the software 'Winzip'.

  • Change Management. Cannot go to the next phase ... And common questions.

    Hi dear colleagues!
Here there are some unpleasant problems which has arisen during Change Management functions realization...
    1. After approving of Urgent Correction by so-called "Change Manager", "developer" couldn't set it status "in development" -> and begin corrections in DEV system. It outputs in status bar: "NO ACTIONS IN THE WORK LIST".
    2. How should i link some urgent correction (or simply Service Message) to a specific Maintenance Cycle?
The same problem I cannot go to the next phase, system outputs that "No Maintenance Cycle is open for the current system".
    3. And please can u explain in a simple words: Should i always make a maintenance project for using "Change Management" functions?
    4. Can we use "Change Management" for 4.0C (vers. of satellite) systems?
Any help and tips would really appreciate.
    Best regards,
    Vladimir

    Hi,
For configuring change management, you will have to follow the SPRO guidelines for setting up transport routes between satellite systems.
Well i list down the activities that you need to do. Details you can find in SPRO -- > SAP Solution Manager --> Scenario Specific Settings --> Change Request Management --> Standard Configuration --> transport management System
    1) Activate Extended transport control by setting  System Parameter CTC=1 in STMS --> Systems
2)Create Client specific transport route between satellite systems
    3) Ensure that all the systems in the domain have the same transport group.
4)Configure or activate Single transport Strategy in STMS --> Overview --> transport routes.
5)Activate TMS Trusted services in STMS --> Overview --> Systems --> Goto --> transport Domain --> Management Tab page --> Security option group box.
Besides these activities, you will have to execute the SPRO IMG Activity
SAP Solution Manager --> Basic Settings --> SAP Solution Manager System --> Activate Integration with Change Request Management
For activity Intigration Solution Manager make the following entry
    APPL: Change Request Management
    RFC Destination : NONE
For activity Integration Change Request Management
make the entries in table BCOS_CUST as g
    iven in the IMG instruction.
Now in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN you can activate a maintenance project for change management by going to System Landscape --> Project Cycle
Click the check box Activate Change request Management.
(NOTE: The above option comes only in Solution Manager 4.0, for SOLMAN 3.2 you can directly create maintenance cycle in /n/tmwflow/cmsconf --> Distribution Routes --> Project Landscape group box .)
Now you can create a maintenance cycle by clickin on the button Create Task List in project cycle tab page.
Navigate to task list and activate the tasklist (Maintenance Cycle) by clicking on the status button.
Now while creating change request ensure that you are assigning the correct ibase /component of the production system in the satellite system landscape. You have to enter the ibase component of the client of the production system to whcih the client specific transport route has been made. You can find this number in transaction IB52
Hope now u can move on with CHARM.

  • SAP IQ 16 Hang in the last phase of insert from ASE 15.7 using RLV

    Problem description:
When I try to load 73K rows from ASE 15.7 to IQ 16.0 SP3 the IQ server ‘hang’ at the last phase of the insert (merge RLV store to main IQ dbspace).
Hang: The server stops responding; stop writing to iqmsg; and, I’m unable to stop the server using stop_iq; the only way to stop the server is to kill the process (on Unix).
Any suggestion on how to solve this issue will be appreciated.
    My configuration
    Adaptive Server Enterprise/15.7/EBF 21339 SMP SP101 /P/X64/Windows Server/ase157sp101/3439/64-bit/OPT/Thu Jun 06 12:11:05 2013
    Sybase IQ/16.0.0.653/131122/P/sp03/Sun_Sparc/OS 5.10/64bit/2013-11-22 01:16:26  (8 cores)
    How to reproduce the problem:
    In ASE 15.7
Create and populate the following table:
    CREATE TABLE dbo.MyTable  (
            Program                 varchar(3) NULL,
            EncNum                  varchar(12) NULL,
    MRN                     varchar(8) NULL,
    IntervalStartDtm varchar(19) NULL,
            IntervalEndDtm          varchar(19) NULL,
            IntervalType            varchar(50) NULL,
            IntervalDuration        numeric(19,4) NULL,
            PhysFirstName           varchar(50) NULL,
            PhysLastName            varchar(50) NULL,
            PhysNum                 varchar(6) NULL,
            Location                varchar(3) NULL,
            DiseaseSite             varchar(20) NULL,
            Priority                int NULL,
            DelayReason             int NULL,
            ExcludeFlag             varchar(1) NULL
    LOCK ALLPAGES
    GO
I’d around 73,000 rows, you can populate the table with random data.
    EndNum are of format ‘999999999999’
MRN number are of format ‘99999999’
    On SAP IQ 16.0 SP3
    Create the new RVL STORE
    create dbspace IQ_RLVStore
       using file IQ_RLVFile1 '/dev/vx/rdsk/datadg/pdevtemp1' size 15360
    IQ RLV STORE
    Start Up Parameters
    -n devDwIqSrvr
    -x tcpip{port=4101}
    -c  512m
    -gc 20
    -gd all

    -iqrlvmem 2048
    -iqmsgsz 2047
    -iqmsgnum 2
    -xs http{port=8082}
    Create the table
    CREATE TABLE DBA. MyTable  (
            Program                 varchar(3) NULL,
            EncNum                  varchar(12) NULL,
    MRN                     varchar(8) NULL,
    IntervalStartDtm varchar(19) NULL,
            IntervalEndDtm          varchar(19) NULL,
            IntervalType            varchar(50) NULL,

            Priority                integer NULL,
            DelayReason             integer NULL,
ExcludeFlag             varchar(1) NULL IQ UNIQUE (255)
    GO
    set option public.SNAPSHOT_VERSIONING = 'Row-level'
    set option public.RV_RESERVED_DBSPACE_MB = 500
    alter table DBA. MyTable
      enable RLV STORE
    On ASE 15.7
Create a new session (disconnect and reconnect)
    Create the new server
    sp_addserver 'devDwIqSrvr', ASIQ, 'ohdwdbdev01:4101'
    Add and external login
    sp_addexternlogin devDwIqSrvr, sa, DBA, myPassword
    Create proxy a table
    `
    create proxy_table MyTable _proxy
    at 'devDwIqSrvr.devDwIqDb.DBA. MyTable '
    Execute
    insert into dbo. MyTable _proxy
      select * from dbo. MyTable
In the 2 servers where I tested, the IQ server ‘hang’ after around 1 hrs.

    Hi Chris,
Thanks a lot for your help.
As per your suggestion, I increased the –iqrlvmem to 4096
    And also,  set option public.RV_Auto_Merge_Eval_Interval = 1
But, still have the same behavior.
Here you can see the state of the IQ server just a few seconds before it hang.
    select SpCount/2 from

For no reason I got the above Error Message. I have checked there is no error mentioned in any log for the /usr/sap/put/ directory.
I have checked the environmental variables also
    Can anyone help

    Thanks all,
This step fails before it creates a checks.log file at all.
    The issue is solved now.
I just gave full permission for the kernel files /sapmnt/<SID>/exe
    chmod -R exe
and then started the prepare it worked.

  • Bootcamp 5.1 Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation

I've searched the internet, I've tried solutions on some of the discussions on here:
Windows 8.1 install fails on new 2013 Retina MacBook
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/23490854#23490854

Windows 8.1 Install Fails on New 2013 Retina MacBook, Users Report
    http://wind8apps.com/windows-8-1-install-fails-new-2013-retina-macbook/
(Can't try this one because I don't have physical media or a burner and don't want to upgrade to 8.1)
Tried maskedferret's and jarvil's instructions that might work for others but not for me. Also the process must be older version of disk utility. There is no "minus" to remove a partition in the one I have.
Half the problem is those threads are so long with people posting up their problems that are not even the same problem. So then you have to sift through all these responses that aren't even really releated.
If you're problem isn't this problem then please don't use this thread to solve another issue.
“Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of the installation. To install Windows, restart the installation.”
I can't find in the release notes of any beta Maverick update that this is being addressed.
    1) Does anyone know if there is a fix coming out for this?
    2) Is there some solution that doesn't require to have physical media?
         a) I have Windows 8.1 iso and product key
         b) I have a 32gb USB stick that I had Bootcamp format
         c) I have a spare 16gb USB stick.  Both are USB 2.0 so I can't do Windows To Go. Maybe I should get one.
    3) I have no idea how tell which MacBookPro I have since no one at Apple seems to believe in model numbers. I just ordered it online two weeks ago and received it this week so I guess it's the "latest" model hardware wise.  Running 10.9
The cloest possible solution I came across was to boot up Windows 8 OS on a USB stick (Not the install) and run diskpert or fdisk for mbr thought I can' try this out because I don't have Windows To Go.  I'd rather have it worked problem from Apple if I can figure out when they plan to update I might be willing to wait.

Finally got a physical CD and to the third link option still same issue. Even worse actually as even after formating the partition I get a "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style"
Found my "-" minus remove parition in Disk Utility. Will attempt maskedferret's again

  • Linking documents through the SDLC phases for audit & dependancy purposes

    Hi,
I've got a unique requirement. I'm auditing documents through the SDLC phase and want to see documents stored under a particular phase linked to documents stored under another phase. Eg. Func req. 2 under the analyse phase is linked to form 10 under design
phase which is linked to tech spec 5 in build phase which is linked to test scenario 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
    Func req 2 --> form 10 --> tech spec 5 --> test scenario 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Is there any way to record these links so that I can see from an auditors point of view so that I can see all the dependancies between documents in a visual structure? Ie. a org chart type format but for documents?

    Hi,
For this issue, I'm trying to involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at it.
    Thanks,

    Greetings
I am deploying an application in Oracle Application Server ( 10.1.2.0.2) made using myfaces at the front end and hibernate at the back end, and encounter the following error. I have alsosuccessfully deployed a simpler application based on the exact same technologies and it is working fine. The bigger more complex application however does not even get deployed. the error encountered is as follows

Did you ever get a resolution on this? I'm figting with the exact same problem. OC4J can't find the class although it's very clearly packaged in the EJB jar.
    Thanks.

  • ADF FACES: how to prevent navigation in the UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES phase

I have some complex cross-field correlations to verify on data submitted. I can't do this in the PROCESS_VALIDATIONS phase, since all the model values are in consistent at this point depending on which component is being processed.
So, I'm trying to perform the business logic tests in the UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES phase. This is all working well except for one thing. How do I prevent the view from changing in the case that cross-field issues are detected?
The scenario is that the user has filled out the form and activates some control that would normally navigate the user away from the current view. I detect an inconsistency and need to place a message in the context and prevent the navigation. This is easy if I do this during the PROCESS_VALIDATIONS phase by just throwing a ValidatorException.
I just can't figure out how to accomplish this in the UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES phase.
    Any suggestions?

I spoke too soon. Maybe my case is more subtle. I have a page with a af:showOneTab. In one of the showDetailItems, I have this validation occuring. Thus, when the user clicks on one of the tabs, and the current page has a validation error on it, I want them to stay on the current page.
Calling renderResponse doesn't seem to prevent the change (although a true ValidatorException thrown during the validation phase does).
So, I'm still stuck with how to prevent the change in tabs when I detect the error in the UPDATE_MODEL_VALUES phase.
    Thanks.
