Går det att ha ipad som display till mac mini?

Hej
Går det att ha en Ipad som monitor för mac mini?
går det att koppla ihop de utan sladd?

It is possible, however the resolution of the iPad is so small, you won't get the full view of the Mac Mini's content.   In addition, being wireless, as you would want will be slow, and interfere with other wireless devices in the house.

  • How to connect a 23" Cinema display and mac mini to an AV Receiver?

I am trying to get my 23" Cinema display and Mac Mini to a Yamaha RX-2700 AV Receiver. I am on first name terms with the guy in Maplins because I tried to get an Xbox 360 working with this display before and gave up in the end.  The AV receiver has upscaling capability so I thought I'd try again.  I tried connecting a HDMI - DVI adapter to the HDMI Out on the receiver and a HMDI to DVI cable from the Mac Mini to the HDMI in with a optical cable for the sound.  The sound works fine but I get no display - the LED on the monitor flashes three times with a blank screen so it can't read the signal.  Another option suggested was to use a VGA Converter connected to a VGA - HDMI cable but I would like to find out if that would work before going down that route?
I am looking for some advice about whether this type of configuation is possible with the 23" ACD and if so what do I need to buy to make it work?  I love the quality of my ACD to avoid having to replace it with a TV to get my multi media life in order.
    Many thanks

  • HT1695 How do I link my iPad to my new Mac mini?

I cannot seem to link my iPad to my new Mac mini. My iPhone worked automatically but not my iPad.

Did you create a new iTunes account or update the old one ? If you updated the old account then you can tap on it in Settings > Store and log out of it and then log in with the updated version and it should get 'refreshed' on the iPad.
If you created a new account then you can still log out of the old account and log in with the new one, but any content bought/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that account (so only that account will be able to download its content or app updates).

  • Is it possible to use multiple displays on mac mini?

Is it possible to use multiple displays on mac mini?
I have a mac mini that I think is from 2009. The processor is 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2 gb memory that I´d like to use with multiple displays (2). Is this possible??

    yes.
connect monitor #1 with the Mini DVI to DVI adapter (should have come with your Mini)
connect monitor #2 with the mini-displayport to DVI adapter (needs to be procured separately)

  • Which mac pc is good for iPad development in between mac mini or mac book pro

which mac pc is good for iPad development in between mac mini or mac book pro so give me details which is much more better for ios development

The best thing for iOS development is your imagination. Coming up with unique creative apps is what’s most important. I've had a mini since they first came out, and I think it's the best desktop around. However you may not want a desktop because you're more mobile when you work on apps. With the mini you can use a much bigger screen (I use a 80 inch) but the laptop has a slightly better processor (if you decide to pay extra for it). I'm learning app development also and a laptop would drive me crazy, but it's a personal choice, so you first need to decide where you are going to be while you're developing. If it’s at home or a office then the mini might be better. The mini and the macbook pro are both two incredible products. I don’t think you can make a wrong decision as far as which one handles app design better. They’re both great in that department.

    ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

  • Is it possible to use an iPad as the display for Mac Mini?

Can an iPad 2 be used as the monitor on a Mac mini? Either by using Air Display or by cabling?

    Yes !
You can use iPad as the display for your mac mini. but it will be your secondary display .. i.e. you need to have a primary display other that iPad.
    use teamviwer for that.

  • Functioning Monitor will not display with Mac Mini

I'm trying to get an IBM E74 CRT monitor working with an early 2009 Mac Mini. I have it connected with Apple's mini-DVI to VGA adapater. The Mac "sees" the monitor since with screen sharing I can see the Display System Preference when the monitor is attached. It shows the monitor as an IBM E74 and allows what appear to be appropriate choices as far as resolution and refresh rate are concerned. I tried many combinations of resolution and refresh rate with no difference in behavior.
The monitor always acts like no signal is detected (built it message on monitor display). This monitor works fine with a B&W G3 and a late 2007 MacBook Pro. Any ideas why the Mac Mini is not driving the monitor? Have tried all combinations cycling power on the monitor, connecting / disconnecting while the Mac Mini is power up. Have had the monitor connected and powered on when booting the Mac Mini. For whatever reason the monitor does not seem to work with the Mac Mini, but works fine with other computers.
The monitor despite its' age has pretty low time on it and is quite serviceable. Are there quirks with the VGA interface that we may be running into? I would like to get this combo working together if at all possible.

I would say the VGA interface did evolve somewhat over that time period. In particular, the thing that may have changed that could be the underlying cause of the problem is sync termination impedance has trended upwards. It's not unusual to find older monitors with low impedance on sync. Some even had 75 ohm impedance, which required a line driver for sync the same as for video.
It could be the IBM monitor has fairly low termination impedance and the mini is unable to provide sufficient output on the sync lines to drive TTL levels, whereas the MBP is doing better. You could check this with a simple ohm meter with the IBM monitor turned off. Ideally, for the mini, you would want to see a high impedance reading on H and V sync, like close to 2k ohms. If it's 500 ohms or less, then the mini may not be able to drive sync properly.
On an old monitor like that, it is likely to have old fashioned components with axial leads rather than surface mount components. If you are handy with a soldering iron, you could find the offending resistors and bring the monitor up to a more modern, high impedance standard of 1.8k to 2.2k.

  • Dual Display on Mac Mini

    Hi there,
I want to have a dual display setup with my Mac Mini. There's also a twist. One of the displays is a regular monitor. The other display is a 46" TV. I am not too technically minded - is there a splitter or some kind of dual display "kit" I can pick up?
    Thanks!

Which Mac mini? The new one has two video outputs on it, so two displays is not a problem.

  • Connect Apple 17" Display to Mac mini?

I am hoping to get rid of my old (ish) 17" Apple Display to a friend who has a Mac mini but not sure if they are compatible. I'm sure there must be some kind of connection but don't really know what to look for!!

No, that adapter (and the many others like it) are for connecting a DVI display to an ACD port on a video card such as used on many G4 and G5 powermacs, amongst other systems.
To use an Apple studio or cinema display with ADC connector with a system which has DVI output (such as the mini), it's necessary to use a device such as Apple's part number M8661LL/B, which is typically $99, but if you search, can sometimes be had for a little less from some suppliers.

  • Display settings mac mini

Hi, i have a real beginners question. It seems my two year old daughter had some fun with the setting of my mac mini. Now the display has no red colors. Everything is fine during an application update or reboot. Any ideas? Thanks!

One thought: Try starting the the Mini with NO monitor connected, then plug in your usual monitor. That may cause it do go to a default monitor setting which will be viewable. If so, then go to the monitors control panel and set it the way you want.

You can't. iOS apps don't run on a Mac. Some, such as iWork apps, have Mac equivalents with which they can share data.

  • What is best way to get LCD display for Mac mini?

Just got Mac Mini but when I connect it to my Samsung LCD the display quality is crap.  What is the best way to get HD resolution, (maximum quality) from this set up?

    Thanks,
I did try all of the settings on the LCD display.  It is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.  Built in 2011 by Samsung as a HD TV, computer monitor and audio/video combo.  I just let the Mac mini select the appropriate settings when I did initial startup last night.  I It came with an HDMI to DVI adapter which (to me) implies I need to get the male end of the DVI adapter to connect to the 9 pin (PC input).  Current HDMI is working but just not the "wow factor" that I expected from the Mac mini.  Compatibiltiy issue of some kind; input/output, settings, software update, or user error   Was trying to avoid getting a new monitor.
