Garageband 10 & Mavericks - Kein Download von Kursen möglich...
Ich kann keine Gitarrenkurse mehr downloaden.
Egal ob ich alle oder einen einzelnen wähle.
Hat da jemand eine Idee?!

Gibt es evtl. eine Möglichkeit, wieder auf das Alte Garageband umzusteigen?
GarageBand 6.0.5 sollte noch installiert sein. Der installer löscht es nicht, sondern verschiebt es nur in einen separaten Order "GarageBand 6.0.5". Es kann mit der Bibliothek arbeiten, die für GarageBand 10.0 installiert wurde. Das einzige Problem ist, das Projekte, die mit GarageBAnd 10 geööfnet wurden, nicht mehr mit GarageBand 6.0.5 geöffnet werden können.
Für GarageBand 10.0 sollten alle Loops, Instrumente, Gitarrenkurse, die schon mal für das alte GarageBand installiert waren, wieder runtergeladen werden können, indem man das Kommando: "GarageBand > Einkäufe wieder herunterladen (oder so ähnlich...)" ausführt.

So, nun ist sie wieder da die "tolle" Fehlermeldung.
GarageBand konnte den Download nicht abschließen. Prüfen Sie die Internetverbindung und starten Sie den Download neu.
Diese Fehlermeldung kann irreführend sein. Sie kann auch gegeben werden, wenn der AppStore die Transaktion abgelehnt hat, z.B. wegen der Sicherheitsfragen.
Manchmal ist es aber eine kurzfristige Unterbrechung, wenn Apples Server überlastet ist.

Hallo zusammen,
Ich habe folgendes problem:
es ist kein boot von medium möglich - sprich weder USB noch CD/DVD
im BIOS habe ich bereits CD bzw USB als erstes Boot medium zuwählen allerdings ohne erfolg.
in einem anderen forum habe ich gelesen das es ggf auch nur am CD/DVD laufwerk liegen kann was allerdings nicht erklären würde warum der boot von USB nicht funktioniert.
Denoch habe ich jetzt ein neues BluyRayLaufwerk nachgerüstet aber auch mit diesem keinerlei erfolg.
es ist nur möglich von der standart festplatte zu booten - nehme ich diese aus den BIOS einstellungen raus
auch dann nutzt er keinerlei andere boot möglichkeiten von anderen medien.
an was kann das liegen bzw was kann ich tun?

Keep on pressing F1 after you press the power to turn it on to launch the BIOS
Under Exit TAB
OS Optimization
OS Optimized
For the two options above: Should be set as Disabled or Other OS
Hit F10 to save and Exit
Once the Computer Restarted Start hitting F1 again to Reload BIOS
Under Boot Tab / Start up Tab
Boot Mode Should be set to Legacy
Boot Priority Should be set to Legacy First
UEFI Boot should be set to Disabled
Quick Boot should be Disabled
StartUp device Menu prompt should be Disabled
Quick Boot Should be Disabled
USB Boot should be Enabled
Secure boot Should be Disabled
Once everything are Set, make sure to save all changed by hitting F10 and Enter for Yes
After Hitting enter It will Restart and You will have to keep on tapping F12
this should pull up the Boot Menu letting you select where to boot.
If not succesful pulling up the boot menu after the restart, Power Drain the System and turn it on while hitting F12 Again.
Im letzten Satz wird noch ein "Power Drain" beschrieben (falls nötig). Der wäre wie folgt durchzuführen:
- PC ausschalten
- Stromkabel und sämtliche externe Peripherie abziehen
- Einschaltknopf ca. 30 Sekunden gedrückt halten

Nach dem Download von Mountain Lion, verlangt mein mac book pro die Neuinstallation von iwork 08. Es wird die Seriennummer verlangt. 5ch habe alle Möglichkeiten von dem winigen Aufkleber eingegeben, aber immer heißt es "Seriennummer ist nicht richtig".

Wo steht die Seriennummer von "iwork08"?
Seit dem Download von Mountain Lion kann ich keine Dateien mehr öffnen.
Muss die Installation von Office 2011 und iWork 08 wirklich sein?
Habe beides ordentlich gekauft und kann es nun nicht nutzen.

Can you get so far as to see/open any of the iWork apps themselves (eg Pages)?
If so, if you click on the relevant name of the app (eg Pages) in the tool bar, and then click on "About Pages" you will see the serial number there: it will probably look something like this

Mal ’ne vielleicht dumme Frage aber bietet Adobe keine „normale“ Downloadmöglichkeit für Testversionen mehr an? Für ein neues Projekt wollte ich mal InCopy CS4 testweise runterladen, komme jedoch nur bis zu einem komischen Java-Downloadmanager, der komplette Rechte über alle Dateien benötigt, was natürlich ein schlechter Scherz ist. Ich will einfach nur eine Datei runterladen und dafür wird weder Java, noch irgendwelche Rechte benötigt und die bekommt auch kein Adobe-Java-Downloaddings. Egal was ich mache, ich finde jedoch keinen normalen Download und die Hilfe von Adobe hilft (wie so oft) leider auch nicht weiter.
Ich arbeite auf einem Mac mit Safari.
Kann mir da evtl. jemand weiterhelfen?

Das hätte ich auch gerne gewusst, ich versuche mit firefox die ganze zeit Test version runter zuladen, doch bei mir startet der download manager überhaupt nicht, der versucht und versucht..es kommt nichts. Ich weiß nicht! Ob es doch an uhr zeit liegt, laut ansage von Adobe soll man 15.00 -00.00 oder so möglichst kein download machen....so habe ich es verstanden! Ich werde heute nacht noch mal versuchen, aber das da kein hinweis fenster aufgeht, ist schon ärgerlich, man weiss ja garnicht was los ist.

No reason to be embarassed. You are not alone.
You will need an external drive. If you have a Time Machine drive without enough disk space you can create the clone there however it's advised that you keep your Time Machine and clone on separate drives. If the drive dies you loose both types of backup.
Download and install the clone software. Everyone has their favorite. These are the two most common applications used. I prefer SuperDuper because of it's simplicity in setting up. It's also free for the first clone where with CCC you have to give a Credit Card then cancel if you do not want to keep.

Well I did find a way to delete it, by going into the various components and one by one deleting it. Now I reinstall it and the message is that this Quick Time is for an earlier version before Maverick 7. SMH....Now what.?

I had similar problems trying to upgrade from 10.7.5 to Mavericks: the Mavericks icon was greyed out and the Download wasn't proceeding. This solution worked for me:
I figured out that the download was paused by going to the Launchpad, and finding the Mavericks icon, which said "Paused" underneath it (even though I don't recall pausing it myself). I then held my mouse down on the Mavericks icon until it started shaking, and then clicked the little 'x' to abort the download. I then went and plugged my MacBook Air directly into an ethernet cable, in order to have a much faster connection to the web, and restarted the download within the App Store. Again, the 'OS X Mavericks' listing in the Purchases section of the App Store turned gray, but in the Launchpad view, it showed 'Downloading' underneath the Mavericks icon and the available disk space (as viewed in the Finder window) was slowing decreasing.
I think the App Store is a bit buggy: it should properly indicate when it is actively downloading Mavericks, and should have a progress meter. It should also indicate when a download has been paused. The App Store should provide the ability to abort/restart/pause downloads.
The key to solving this was the realization that I could abort/restart the download via the Launchpad. The other key was not trying to download via the slower WiFi connection, but instead using the much faster Ethernet connection.

No; try using a data recovery product such as the ones listed here. Don't write anything else to the drive until the files are recovered or you choose not to recover them.

The problem with using any copy of Mavericks (or Lion or Mountain Lion for that matter) is that not only is it illegal, but if you do not download it using your own Apple ID, then you will forever have trouble getting updates and support.
Maybe it is just a matter of time until it reaches your App Store. You can always contact Apple and ask.

Nothing special. You must havethe app store app installed in 10.6.8. Find Mavericks in the app store. Downloadit. It will take a while (5.31GB) and install thi installer ion your applications folder. Then you can proceed at your leisure.
Check hard disk space, permissions, apple-ID, retry.
