Garageband '11 reinstalling every time I quit the app.
Does anybody know why Garageband keeps trying to reinstall it's self? I'll install it, it works fine, then when I quit the application the same installer window pops up when I open it again. The app won't let me use any of the files till it downloads. It's getting really nerve wracking. Am I missing a step? Do I need to register it a special way? I've searched and found no answers.
I do not understand what you mean with the "Firefox HELP tab"
If a tab opens with a specific page when you start Firefox then you need to check the Home page setting to make sure that that page isn't set as the home page.

Check, if you have a volume automation set on the software instrument track.
If the track volume automation curve is enabled, the volume slider for the track will move with the automation curve.
Click the automation curves disclosure triangle in the track header and disable the volume automation. -
Address Book's window moves down 3 pixels every time you start the app.
I want to confirm that this is not an isolated issue and to make a bit more noise because Apple didn't fix this in the 10.5.3 update. The problem is that the Address Book's window moves down 3 pixels from it's previous position every time you start the app. This only happens if the Address Book window is sized vertically larger than minimum. Now, each time you quit and start Address book it will reposition it's window 3 pixels down. After some time and many Quit/Starts your window will end up at the bottom of your screen and even size itself down to vertical minimum. If you have it positioned so that the bottom of the window protrudes off the screen then it will continue until it reaches the top bar of the window. It's not a serious bug I know. But, for the way I use Address Book it's annoying to have to reposition it's window to align with my other apps which I have open aligned/arranged at startup. It's just that all the other Leopard apps don't do this. Maybe it's a feature added to avoid patent infringement. Who knows! Apple I know you have bigger fish to fry but would you please clean this up.
To test first start Address Book and size your Address Book window vertically larger than its smallest size. Now repeatedly quit and start the Address Book application. Watch your Address Book window migrate down 3 pixels from it's previous position every time you start. Have fun, watching Address Book falls from grace. Good thing it doesn't migrate off screen completely!Hey! It works! Nice catch

While all you want is just to place pins, realize that Motion has so much more. All kinds of effects and they can be really customized. Maybe put their street address, contact name, and phone number by the pin?

If you're using the map for, say, deliveries, and use an iPad, what you could do is have a general map of the area imported into Motion, create the pins and whatever, then save (share?) it to the iPad.

I updated to the latest IOS (5.1.1) today and since then Find my friends hang at "signing in" hangs during signing in. I can't back up & start over, every time I open the app, it's hanging there. Can I clear this without losing everything, including the friends that have already accepted me?

Getting prompted for password EVERY time I open the App Store!
Does anyone have this happen to them? Every time I tap the App Store icon to go browse for new apps, it asks me for my password. Every time. Its driving me nuts LOL. It just started doing it recently out of the blue, so I'm not sure what's causing the issue. I've included a screenshot below...

Every time I open the app injustice my iPod gives me a message that says: " Warning, this device is not officially supported. You may experience low performance and instability." I have never jail broken my iPod and I don't know what's wrong. Ideas?

Every time I open the browser the Welcome to Firefox tab is the first tab, then a second tab opens and thats my google, then a 3rd tab opens for me to reinstall my toolbar. This has been happening for a good year. Updates have not fixed it. Others have this problem. I did a search for an answer, the question is out there but no answer. Now if I go into add ons and add a background Theme or an extension it all is gone when I exit the browser. When I open the browser again I get all 3 tabs and have to install my toolbar again. I DO NOT want to reinstall as I will loose all my saved data, passwords, bookmarks, everything! I have had this computer for a year, Windows Vista x64 bit. Its not the computer, it's the browser. Hello everybody. Since I update my iPad mini to IOS 7 and update numbers and pages, I can´t view my documents offline because they have to be downloaded every time I closed and open the app. I have restore the IOS from scratch, not using any backup, and the problems is still there.
Any advice?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Earphone volume goes to highest setting every time i start the app
I plug my Apple Earbuds into my Iphone. I turn the volume down ...then i go into the music app and press play and the volume jumps to the highest setting every time. This is dangerous and painful to my ears . How do make the volume stay turned down when starting playing music????

Since you're experiencing the issue more than once, I'd suggest that you try something a little more extreme.
Do you happen to have a hard drive around that you could use as a secondary boot drive? I'd try a clean install of Mac OS X with a clean install of Final Cut Pro X. Then, either manually copy your current FCP X projects to the clean install drive or use Migration Assistant. Since Mac OS X 10.10 was just released, you'll probably have to go with the latest versions of the OS and FCPX.
The main goal (as time consuming and inconvenient as it is) is to get you to a stable FCP setup. Avoid installing anything else until you have verified that FCP works as expected.
A Thunderbolt, FireWire800 or USB3 drive will work well. Use USB2 _only_ if you can't create a boot drive via one of those three (USB2 is aggravatingly slow).
If you've never used an alternate boot drive, it's very easy to do. If you need more instructions, I could add them to this post.

Why do I have to sign into iTunes (on my Mac) three consecutive times every time I open the app?
Every time I launch iTunes on my Mac, it wants me to sign into my iTunes account. I get three consecutive dialogs asking for my password. The first two seem to be for "automatic downloads" and the third is "to use iTunes Radio". What can I do so that I don't have to sign in every time?
Lion may have replaced files that partially made up your printer drivers. Either way, HP saw fit to make a new set of drivers specifically for 10.7 so you may want to use it simply to avoid any bugs tehy found.

HI. I've got an issue with Pages running on Mavericks. Everytime I open it up it just hangs right there and I can't do anything with it. I've deleted the app and installed it back again but the problem sitll persists. Any help please?

But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)
