GarageBand audio output via bluetooth

Hi,
I have a Bluetooth A2DP headset and when connected to iPad I can play songs and video. However GarageBand does still output audio to iPad speakers.
Request some one to help
Regards,
Harsha Kodnad

Not really. You can play the audio through Bluetooth, but the latency is huge and it's impossible to play any instruments live. All you can do is listen to recorded sessions.

  • X100 e connecting to Samsung audio dock via bluetooth Windows 7

    Hallo,
I want to connect my x100e via Bluetooth to my Samsung audio dock.
    - Bluetooth is working
    - laptop found audio device via Bluetooth
    - the device is working according to the control panel hardware and devices
So far so good. But when I try to use the audio device the sounds still comes via the laptop speakers.
Control panel - Hardware and Sound - manage audio devices doesn't show the Samsung dock but only the speakers
Is there anybody who can help me to fix this problem?

    Hi,
As Rick said, this would be caused by hardware and software compatibility, you should check this following articles, try to update
the device driver for a test:
Error: "Bluetooth peripheral device driver not found" when you try to connect a bluetooth device

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

  • KN9 Platinum - is audio output via both SPDIF ports possible??

I am looking at this board because it has both an optical and coaxial SPDIF output - can you tell me whether these can be plugged into and used simultaneously for HD Audio output. ie I want to be able to output a single digital audio stream from an application like PowerDVD via both connections.
Note this is not about multi streams from different applications - just a single stream via both SPDIF ports.
For an HTPC setup I want to be able to take the optical SPDIF output to a surround sound receiver and the coaxial SPDIF output into an HDMI enabled graphics card which includes audio input so I can then take both video/audio to another monitor.
    Thanks for your help.
    Ben

Yes, audio will do this video won't.

  • Mutli channel audio output via usb?

    Hi there
I've had a browse through the support forums and can't find an answer to my question, so here it is:
I want to split the audio channels through the internal soundcard (I have an ibook g4) so that I can use audio mixing software.
Before I go out and buy some usb speakers, I was wondering if connecting speakers through the usb port would automatically do this - or, is there a way to assign an output route for each channel within the computer?
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks

You'll need a "usb soundcard" that you can purchase from both apple store or just google it and I'm sure they have them all over the place (ebay, thinkgeek, ect). The built in soundcard is a 2 channel 44khz sound card with 1 output and 1 input via the built in microphone. Also, the only usb speakers I have ever seen are just usb powered, but they still plug in to the headphone plug.

  • Question regarding audio output on bluetooth...

I received a bluetooth speaker in the mail today (the Oontz). I connected it but the only options for the sound output are headset and headphones, which makes the sound really muffled. When I connect it to my boyfriend's MacBook Pro, there is an "audio device" output option, but I can't figure out how to set it up on my computer with that option! Please help
I have an older MacBook Pro that is running on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

More information: I remember having this problem with my soundbar a year or so ago but somehow fixed it... When I try to re-setup the device, the only options are use device as headset and use device as headphones.

  • Is audio output via HDMI and componet cables possible?

When I watch movie I want audio through my TV speakers (via HDMI). That way I can control the volume through my TV remote.
When the TV is off and when I want to listen to music, i want audio to go to my Creative Labs "stereo" via audio component cables.
Is it possible to have both HDMI and audio component cables plugged in at the same time? to different sources and both outputting audio (not at the same time)?
    thanks

Yes, audio will do this video won't.

  • Z77a GD65 simultaneous audio output via digital and analog jack?

    Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to use the digital audio spdif out, and the green 3,5mm jack (I use it for my headphones) at the same time?
When I use the digital out, and I run a 'test' with the analog out, I can hear the test signal so technically it should work.
However, I can't find the right settings to actually use both outputs (same source: for instance iTunes) at the same time.
    Any advice? Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Jeroen

My old msi cuba 7301 from 2007 has an spdif output, and I was able to use this digital out together with the 3,5mm line out (which I used for my headphones) simultaneously. I understand what you're saying, but I'd say the user should decide in what way he/she wants to use the product  . Technically, it shouldn't be a problem, since I can hit the 'test' button and hear the sounds through my headphones via 3,5mm stereo out, while playing music through the digital out.
Anyone from MSI who knows the answer? If it was possible in 2007...
    Thanks for your answer

  • Audio output via firewire

I can not get audio working through firewire on my late 2013 MacBook Pro 13".
If I test channels in channel setup it gives me static, but if I play iTunes od Spybot nothing happens.
    Internal speakers work fine.
    Any ideas what to do?

I am connecting it through the firewire thunderbolt adapter. Then firewire 400/800 cable, because Presonus mixer has Firewire s400 port.
Funny is that iTunes worked fine in the morning. Then I started to check why I can not play Youtube through firewire. From Audio MIDI Setup - Presonus Firestudio - Output - Configure Speakers I changed Multichannel channels. That was all I changed.

  • HDMI Audio Output via Mini Display Port to Sharp Aquos TV cuts out every 10 seconds

I haven't had an issue til I recently did a software update to my Mac Pro.
I have two mini-display ports on the back of my machine but always have been able to listen to audio from the HDMI connection without an issue. Anyone else having this issue?  I checked and reset all the setting on my Television and get prompted that a icompatible PCMI audio signal is being recieved.
    PLEASE HELP!
    Thanks!

I have seen one report that this is an acknowledged bug in OS10.6.8, the only cure for now is reverting OS:

  • No midi control in GB '08 with keyboard via Alesis io2, & no output via io2

The lengthy title sums up the two key issues I'm having.
I'm using an Alesis io2 USB interface, to run guitars and midi controller keyboards (goldstar MK49 & Terratec Midimaster Pro) into GB '08.
There're no problems getting the guitar into GB and my Guitar Rig 3 plugin, and no noticeable latency on monitoring via the system output (active speakers from headphone output). Until three days, ago I was also using the keyboards to successfully control software instruments in GB.
In detail, the issues I'm experiencing are:
    *1) MIDI Keyboard*
After attempting to create a new aggregated audio/midi device in the Audio Midi Setup utility, I can no longer get the keyboards to work. I get intermittent notes at random and also when using the keyboard data sliders, but mostly silence. Previously I had no problems with velocity sensitivity, note, modulation, pitch or track level control. Now, I'm getting nothing other than random notes.
It appears that GB, my MacBook or both are now unable to make any sense of the midi data they're receiving. I've deleted the aggregated device via the same utility but still no control. I've not yet found a 'MIDI reset' option in system prefs or the audio/midi utility. Any suggestions how I get my bits of gear talking to each other again?
*2) Audio output via Alesis io2*
SInce getting this USB interface I have been unable to route any audio back out of my MacBook through it; either to headphones from the built-in headphone jack, or monitors from the 'main L/R' connections. System prefs and the audio/midi utility both see the io2 as a device with 2x ins and 2x outs, but both tell me the device has no output controls.
Creating a new aggregate device didn't work, so any ideas how to resolve this one? Also, could creating this new aggregate device have contributed to my first issue?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
    Thanks in advance.

I would start by trying the i/o 2 with garageband in another user account to find out if it's a local or global problem.
Then with the alesis plugged in make sure that all your settings in the audio/midi setup utility are correct for the device.
A class compliant device means if they build the interface to a agreed upon spec it will be recognized and be able to use the apple driver (core audio). It did work because you were able to use it and change it's function when making it part of aggregate device.

  • 3GS:   Ipod MP3 Playback via Bluetooth (Audi A4  Speakerphone)

    Hi folks,
i have an Iphone 3gs. Connecting to my Audi Speakerphone works fine. Could phone with the hands free set very excelent. What i wanted to know is, could i also playback MP3 files via Bluetooth. Using ipod on my iphone brings no audio output in my car. Strange, because when i do an audio memo on the iphone, i can listen it via my speakerphone set in my car.
is there a trick to get running ipod output via bluetooth on the iphone ?
    thanks for information.
    greets
    werner

I've noticed this lately as well, with my iPhone 4. I couldn't confidently pin it directly on any particular iOS update, but my iPhone used to automatically connect up via Bluetooth with my Prius's handsfree feature, and now it doesn't. I work with a CE-based device at my job, with Bluetooth capability, and I used to test out that feature by having it discover my iPhone. This no longer works either.
What I have found (not really a solution, but it does work and may be a clue for Apple) is that if I simply go to the Settings app then the General -> Bluetooth screen and let it sit there, it will pair right up with my car within a few seconds. Bluetooth is always on, and always says "Now Discoverable" at the bottom of the settings screen.

  • Multiple audio-outs via USB or Firewire?

I'm looking for a hardware solution for my mid-2010 MBP w/ 2-4 audio outputs via USB or Firewire.  On the software side, I want to have multiple media players open and playing simultaniously, but each output separately.  I was told m-audio makes devices that allow this, but I am curious which may be the cheapest with this capability - or alternate manufacturers.

I think you'd have better luck going to the m-audio forums and asking your question.

It would be hit or miss to find someone here who's an expert on your issue.  Also, you might post your question to the Logic Studio forum here:

There are a lot of sound people there who might point you in the right direction with a MacBook Pro.
