Garageband can't add loops
I am trying to save some software instrument regions I've created as loops that I can add to the Loops librar so I can easy add them to other projects. Everywhere I look for how to do this, I am instructed to select the region, then go to Edit > Add to Loop Library. The problem is that this option is not in m Edit menu at all. I have tried closing and re-opening GB, rebooting the computer, and making sure I have the latest version of GB. But no mater what I've tried, this option does not appear in my Edit menu. What am I doing wrong?
The othe rmethod I've tried is dragging the region over from the main window to the loops menu and dropping it in there. But when I click-hold and drag the region, it simpl slides it around the timeline as if I am trying to move it further behind in the track. It does not allow me to drop it in the Loops menu.
Any help?
In GarageBand 10 it will look like it is not working, it is a bit confusing, but try this:
Cut the region you want to turn into a loop exactly at the bar line.
Show the loop browser pane.
Select the region, grab it with the mouse and drag it over to the loop browser.
It will look, like you were shifting the loop in the track - simply ignore this.
Release the mouse, when it is over the loop browser and the panel to add the loop should open.
Name the loop and set the attributs to index it.

What's the trick? Can't delete loops from Garageband loop browser.
Am I missing something? I've tried to delete 3rd party loops directly from the Garageband loop browser, but could not. It wouldn't work in Garageband 08, and it won't work in '09.
These loops were all added to the library by drag and drop into the loops browser.
Is there something I need to do with file permissions?I think you can only delete loops from the browser that you created yourself with GB.
Just delete the loops in the Finder and re-index everything. -

I have Garage Band on my Ipad Mini and I notice that it does not have a "delay effect" that can be added to my music. There are other effects, but no delay, which is the most important one for me. How can I add this effect? Thank you.There are not many effects available in GarageBand on the iPad. You can add reverb and echo to the Master Track, but that's it.

How can i add formula to waveform data type?
I want to interpolate my acquired data in terms of voltage to temperature. For this i need to use polynomial equation, but i am not able to directly attach formula node to the waveform data type. I want to know how can i add formula node to waveform data, and then also have it real time.
One additional thought that may be helpful. Once you get the Y component of the waveform graph you are going to attempt to wire this into a formula node. You can do one of two things with that array. Put a for loop around the formula node and index the array into and out of the for loop. This allows you to do scalar math on the data. It is also possible to index and array in a formula node. Hi, Just wondering if iMovie has any way of adding menus to the start of home movies. The sort of menu that you can select chapters from to jump to different sections of the movie.

iMovie HD (free version 6.0.4 available to iLife '08 owners from Apple) and GarageBand can chapter can chapter movies. (iTunes, iPod, iPhone, TV, QT Player, and Front Row can all use these chapters.) However, iMovie '08 itself cannot add chapters. If your clips don't need any editing, simply create/add them to a GarageBand iPod project, chapter them, and export them using the "Export Movie to Disk... > Full Quality" Share menu option. This work flow does not re-compress your video content, but merely places it, the audio, and the chapter text track in an MOV file container for use. -

User selects languages from Available Languages ItemList Box clicks on add it will adds to the Available Languages Item List box and ViceVersa with Remove Button.
1) I have created 2 nodes 1) AvlLang 2) SelLang both contains two attributes Key and Value.
2) For AvlLang node, Property : Data Dictonary binded with table. Values are coming fine in Available Languages ItemList Box.
3) How can i add selected language into the node Available Languages.

Each iCloud account only has a single iCloud account. If you want, you can add up to 3 alias addresses that will receive email in the same iCloud inbox, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.

Can't add a family member to family share on icloud?
I Successfully added one child to family share but when I went to add second child it gets hung up on the screen where you type family members email. I type it in or select child's name from my list of contacts and then select NEXT. Nothing Happens. the blue letters of next fade to the light blue then the circle thing spins and the NEXT pops back up in blue and nothing happens. Can someone please help me figure out why I can't add a second child. Yes, they have an icloud account, I turned phone off and back on. Not sure what the problem is.
See if you can go to your Calendars App and select a previous event to see what Calendar the event was added to (iCloud or Yahoo). After that is determined you can go to www.iCloud.com or calendar.yahoo.com and add the event there to see if it will populate on your device. Another troubleshooting step is deleting the iCloud account from your device and also deleting the Yahoo account. Then check to see if you can add an event without it syncing to a email. If you can then it may have just been a bug and you can add both accounts back and try adding the event again. I would also recommend only using one service to sync your Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, etc. Such as either iCloud only or Yahoo only, as using multiple accounts means your data is spread around and can be hard to isolate when something goes wrong.

How can I add a birthday without creating a new contact?
Hiya,
I would like to add birthdays to my calendar for my friends children and my neices and nephews. However, I don't want to create a new contact for all of them. Can I add an entry into the birthdays calendar only? When I add an entry in iCal on my MacBook I can edit it to a specific calendar, but I have no option to add to the birthday calendar. If I really have to create a contact for these entries, can I select which contacts show up in my iPhone? Obviously I don't want a huge contacts list for babies and small children in my phone!
I tried Dates to iCal and it was good for anniversaries, but for other birthdays it wasnt as they appear as the parents name and then the entry (e.g. Jane: 2nd Sophies Birthday) which I find very annoying!
I hope one of you geniuses out there can help me!
