GarageBand Complete Set of Content Download

Tried to download the complete set of content for garageband.
Entered my Apple ID password two times, app store opened, nothing happend.
App Store Window stays white.
Any Ideas how to get the complete set of content?
What do I have to do?

Have you rebooted the system after downloading and installing?
If that did not help, try the App Store command "Store > Check for unfinished downloads".
And if there are no unfinished download, try GarageBand's command "Restore Purchase" to download again.

Garageband the complete set of content download issue

I have a brand new MacBook Pro retina with garageband. Now I want to buy the complete set of content from Garageband. I click download and type in my password. When I click Buy when asked the app store opened and asked from my password again. When I type in my password the page stays blank and I can't purchase the complete set.
Please help me with this issue. I need those loops and sounds.

For some forum members here it helped to delete GarageBand 10.0 from the Applications folder and to install it again. Then Try to download the additional content again.

Can't download complete set of GarageBand loops

I've looked at many of the discussion thread about this issue but none of them have provided an answer that has solved my problem.
I click on a loop and I get the message that says, "The Software Instrument or Apple Loop selected is not currently installed on your computer. Would you like to install the complete set of GarageBand instruments and loops?"
I've selected the Download Now option which causes Software update to run and then it tells me all of my software is up to date.
I've also tried to use the Download later option by selecting it, quitting GB, going to Software Update the check for them, but still nothing.
I've seen the link to the site that suggests selecting the option to Install from DVD. I see no option to install from DVD. I only have the Download Now and Download later options.
I've tried to use the DVD that came with my Macbook Pro using the 'Customize...' option. I can see that all the the iLife apps are already installed of course so the installer will only give me the option to install 'CPU Help Files'.
I've got plenty of hard drive space so I know that's not an issue.
Any help appreciated.

Sorry for that! Hopefully rebuilding your loop index will solve this.
To create a new loop index, that does not contain the references to the missing loops, remove the contents of the old loop index from the Apple Loops Index folder and then again drag the loops to the loops browser.
Quit GarageBand if it is running.
Remove the contents of the folder /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index/ to another folder on your Desktop.
Relaunch GarageBand - now the Loop Browser should appear completely empty.
Drag all folders with loops onto the Loop Browser in GarageBand. This will reindex the Loops. After this, only loops installed on your machine should appear in the Browser.

P.S. if still broken references appear, you may have more than one loop index folder in your library. Then you need to search your library with Spotlight for all instances; see here:

Issue with additional content download for Garageband 10

I bought the additional sounds and drummers for Garageband 10 when it was released. Everything went smoothly, it downloaded and I had no problems. Then Apple released more content in March and I'm having problems with the download.
I started the download and it was nearly complete, but then alerted me that I was out of disk space. Garageband cancelled the download since it couldn't finish, but apparently it didn't release the rest of the download. The unfinished update is somewhere on my computer taking up space and I have no idea where it is. I tried uninstalling Garageband completely but only 1 GB of space was freed, evidently it only removed the app itself and not the sounds.
Now whenever I start Garageband, it prompts me to download the additional content but then tells me there's not enough space to install it. I've deleted just about every file in my Library folder related to Garageband and it's not giving me any space back so I must be missing something. Where does Garageband store these additional sounds? I'm trying to get rid of everything, I don't want any of the sounds on my computer anymore.

GarageBand installs the instruments and loops in the Instrument Library and the Loop Library: Check these folders:
/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/
/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/

How do I set up automatic downloads so that i only get content from specific devices?

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way I could set up automatic downloads so I only get content purchased from certain devices. I have a MacBook Pro and a ipod touch. I share an apple id with my family for itunes but have my own apple id for icloud. In my family we have various other apple products (iphones and ipads) and I dont want most of the things that my family would download on their devices - just the things would happen to download on my ipod and computer.

Can't download a complete set of songs

I have a 40GB 4th Gen that has had numerous problems (e.g., sad icon, the "whirrr/click thing etc.). I have tried erasing the HD (and writing zeroes to it as well) and doing a restore MANY times. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to download a complete set of songs from my powerbook. Sometimes it will down load 200 and stop, sometimes 800, sometimes 1500, but not much more than that (max has been about 5 GB worth). Once it freezes, I can't eject it (I try, then that beachball starts spinning, and the only way I can get things to unfreeze is by doing a reset on the ipod itself and then manually ejecting, at which point I get the "Device Ipmoperly Removed" warning dialog box. I have been told that this has to do with a corrupted sector on the HD, and that there may be software out there to fix it. Can anybody help with this please?

First, make sure that it is not the bad music file caused the problem, you can try to do an update with another iPod to prove it.
My opinion is, if you have done the writing zeroes few times already, you do not leave with any option.
I have heard from a friend, and have not proved myself yet. Is to split the partition for your iPod's HD under the disk utility into 2 partition, and try to do a Restore on 1 partition, hope that the bad sectors would leave them on the second partition

Online Content download not working

HI,
When we try to download any online content from within Adobe Premiere elements (e.g. scores, titles etc) , it sits at '0B or 0B' and does not download.
This has happened since installing the latest update.
I am wondering if there is any way to get this to work again? Is there a way to download all of the content from a webapage and import into Premiere Elements?
We are using a Win 8 Laptop, with IE and Chrome installed, but IE set as default. Security settings are at their default. We are a school, so are behind a firewall and filter, but this didn't stop things before,and we have added extensions for adobe.com etc to this (but can't seem to find any IP addresses/addresses of the download server so we can whitelist these just in case).
Any ideas what we can do?

Thanks for the reply.
If the core of the issue goes to your school's network security and you can take the computer outside the school network into your home network with security you can disable and with administrator privileges, that has high prospects of being the solution.
You would need to go to each of the categories with the thumbnails with the blue bands. Then right click one of them, select Download All instead of Download Now and wait for automatic completion for the content under that particular category. You would do the same for the other categories needing the content download reflected by the blue banded thumbnails.
It can be time consuming but it might be a solution in your situation.
One way or the other we gain ....if this works, then the school security is pointed to; if this does not work, then other factors need to be identified.

It does seem strange that this has been blocked/happened after the update to elements a few weeks ago- it was downloading ok before then.
Are you there referring to the school based content download within the program (assumed 12 or 13). If so, consider a uninstall reinstall to get you back to 12 or 13 non updated - do the content down - then decide whether or not to update the version.

Trying to install Premiere Elements 10 on Windows 7 but keep getting error message 'A reduced set of content has been installed' - help!

We bought Premiere Elements 10/Photoshop Element 10 a while ago and it worked brilliantly on our Window XP machine, but since we moved to Windows 7 last year we can't get Premiere Elements 10 to work properly and always get the error message 'A reduced set of content (Instant Movie Themes, Title and Menu templates, etc) has been installed. You can install the full content by inserting your Content DVD or downloading it. Do you want to install now?'. So I've tried reinserting the DVDs and installing them. I've uninstalled all the software and started again, but each time I get the same message at the end of the process. I've spoken to the computer shop I bought the computer from and they say Windows 7 is incompatible, but that doesn't seem to be what the Adobe web site says. Please, any advice welcome as I've got a year's worth of videos I need to edit.

Are you working with Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit? What video card/graphics card does your computer use? NVIDIA GeForce? And, are you doing your download and installing with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
Premiere Elements 12 is compatible with Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
If you have tried to obtain the Premiere Elements 10 Content from the installation disc labelled for Content for your version and operating system and that is not working, then can try downloading and installing the Content from the following Adobe link if you do not decide to click on the message to initiate the content download from within the program.

week ago and upgraded it to the latest firmware version 061.005 everything was seemingly running smoothly besides that whenever plugged in my headset (standarad packaged on w-102) and pushed the shuffle button on it it didnt responded this is the first time that i am facing problems with a headset .0.and my second problem related to it is that whenever i try to download any 3gp video or music from the nokia web browser it also dosent responds neither showing any downloading progress . . .pls help .

How to Host completed Captivate 5 Content

I thought completed Captivate 5 Content could be hosted on Acrobat.com. I see how to upload and share content for reviews. I have attempted to upload a project and all that I see will upload is a zip and pdf file but not cptx. I thought the option would exist to upload a completed project for a learning and that Acrobat.com would offer a link that would launch the project.
I would prefer to share the swf content and not a pdf as not all of our users have Acrobat Reader 9.
Is it possible to host a captivate project in Acrobat.com so I can have learners use the content? If so how?
I also thought the cptx files would upload but do not see it in my Acrobat.com account.
My intent is create short 5 to 10 minute demonstrations of software for training and to also develop more comprehensive Lessons. The Acrobat.com LMS will work for my needs.

At this time, it is not possible to preview Captivate content in Acrobat.com; you can certainly upload the files and share them, but they will not be viewable within the Acrobat.com environment. As Adobe Reader is free software, you may want to recommend that your intended audience download it from the Adobe site:

It only takes a minute, and will help you distribute your content with Acrobat.com from within a PDF (although, to be clear, the PDF will have to be downloaded and viewed in Reader or Acrobat for your embedded .swf file to play).

Premiere Elements 11 - online-content-download not working

Download of online-Content (movie-menues etc.) is not working. Are the Servers down?

Are you doing one at a time and getting failure or are you hitting the All choice for the Content with the blue ban at its upper right corner?
Have you checked the following areas to determine if the problem is targeted at one type of Content?
Graphics Tab for Clip Arts
Tools Menu or Tools Tab for DVD Templates
Instant Movies Tab for Movie Themes
Title & Text Tab for Title Templates
Just trying to determine the specificity of the problem - All versus selected areas.
I have found that, at best, the Content download from within the project is a labored and slow process, depending on your Internet connection and Internet speed. Unfortunately there is no alternative since there is no more Content disc when you purchase the box product. But you can save the Online Folder (after download - completed version) to a USB Flash Drive (8 GB capacity) after the first program install so that you can use that for Content for the second install of Premiere Elements 11 on another computer or in the case where you need to uninstall reinstall Premiere Elements and its Content on one computer. The file size of the completed Online Folder is expected to be about 6 GB.

The content download cannot be performed because there is not enough available space in cache or the disk is full.

I deploy all office package via Application deployment. But many system getting failed due to error "The content download
cannot be performed because there is not enough available space in cache or the disk is full.".
I delete the cache old file/folder. Now the cache disk space is available. But still this systems showing same error. And it is not retry also. need help for retry application download if failed due to cache disk.

You should review what your default client cache size is being set to (default 5GB) and then look at the size of the office content you are trying to deliver.
If the content of the office application exceeds your maximum client cache size setting then the download and subsequent installation will fail.
Note that normally the download of applications should overwrite old content in the cache unless you have set them to be persistent, the exception to this is the above case.
To resolve this you will need to increase the client cache size. There are a few ways to achieve this, you can do this either from the Config Manager console via right click tools or via a script that you can run against your clients. Others might like to
comment on how best to achieve this (if this is indeed your problem).

Script Busy or Not Responding: Script: chrome://vidbar/content/downloader.js:98

Over the last few days (starting about 9/15/11), I keep getting the following error message:
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
Script: chrome://vidbar/content/downloader.js:98"
Sometimes clicking on continue or stop resolves the problem. At other times, Firefox stops responding at all.
Sometimes doing a restart ends the problem, sometimes a complete shutdown of Windows XP is needed. But even after a complete shutdown, the error seems to eventually recur.

I tracked my problem down to the "download YouTube video toolbar"
I took it out (uninstalled) and reloaded the browser no more problem. Except I don't have the downloader untill I find an extension or plugin that does not cause a Java Script conflict.
Like another forum user this only started with myself round about mid december after uninstalling and re installing Cometbird (my version of firefox) just to get rid of that problem.
I wonder how many people out there with this problem also have the download youtube video toolbar, version 8?
